Agree that these 2 are not a long term match. The nasty MIL to boot almost certainly solidifies that it won't work out. I know Porsha really wanted a baby so happy for in that regard. I've liked her a lot more since she got knocked up.

I must be the only one watching Porsha's baby thingy, but it's kinda fun. If you had told me at the beginning of the season that I would be able to stomach Porsha at all, I wouldn't have believed it.

So Porsha and Dennis were only together for a few months before she got pregnant? She said last night they were going on one year together and she was 8 mos pregnant then. These two hardly knew each other. They have a lot of issues. I'm rooting for them but I get the feeling this marriage will not last. I just don't feel like Porsha is in love with Dennis. She is in love with having a baby.

This sounds EXACTLY like Bethenny and Jason on RHoNY. 

It also sounds like Porsha's sister Lauren.  She had a baby with her "boyfriend" who is evidently out of the picture now.  I'm surprised  Lauren has never mentioned or discussed her situation on the air. Or even their mother.

I think this show is fun, light nonsense. Porsha is very likable in it. They are a cute couple and I wish them well.

Yea I’m watching and enjoying it. Porsha and Dennis seem cute together. I kind of get Dennis’ point tho about the commute. If they can afford to live in town and cut the commute why not. Porsha is overly attached to the house which I get too but it’s time to let go.

That commute is no joke and with the baby they are both going to want to be spending less time on the road. 

But, I do understand where Porsha is coming from with her house. She was left adrift after Kordell and doesn’t ever want to be in that situation again. She needs to know that she has her own place somewhere to fall back on if something goes wrong. It may sound like a pessimistic approach to her relationship with Dennis, but in fact it’s very realistic. Porsha is not near as dumb as she has portrayed herself to be; she is fairly savvy.

Let him buy or lease a place, and she can keep hers and maybe rent it out.  Probably what I would do in her situation.  If he needs her income for the bank, that would be a red flag for me.  She should certainly help pay expenses, but buy or lease with him?  Nah.

My TiVo recorded one episode and I'm not sure which it is (how many are there?) It was the one where Dennis and Porsha had nanny interviews.

Porsha's MIL is a piece of work. I'm glad Porsha tried to shut her down, but Dennis needs to take a firmer hand with her. "Mom, stop asking about our finances. It's none of your business."

Gina is another one for the Bravo Awful Old Bat Hall of Fame.  Her plaque hangs between Mama Joyce and Stassi’s terrible mother, across the way from creepy Mama Elsa from RHoMiami and the mean lady in the bad wig on RHoDallas.

Diane isn’t my favorite woman in the world, but I felt so bad for her tonight.  She seems like a very loving person.  Dennis seems a lot like her-a good hearted person.

Porsha really told on herself, that she wasn't a person of her word and felt free to renegotiate anything she promised. Thus, no Penelope, but instead a Pilar.

Similarly, Mama Gina feels no compunction to mind her own business. Luckily for Porsha, all agreed the double MIL situation is untenable.

How many were surprised Porsha used circumference properly?

Even though her need to dress like a thot drives me crazy, this show had me chuckling the whole time. Spread eagle sitting, burping, climbing stairs two at at time, I can't help but have a soft spot for her.  She and Dennis are a cute couple so I hope they keep it together. 

Mama Gina looked like an old under the bridge troll frowning on the couch. I was glad Diane was able to employ some waterworks to soften up Gina.

Mama Gina is a nasty piece of work, however, Dennis is the one that put her all up in his business so HE should be privately telling her to stop. 

Porsha is so funny. She acts like she is the first woman to have a kid. Pregnancy is not a disability. God help her if and when she has more kids ( try being that big and chasing around a few other little ones)... That being said, Porsha has grown on me ( pun intended)!

I’m really enjoying the special.  I’d watch Porsha care for a newborn all.day.long.  😂  Especially with those nails.

I love Porsha’s mom, but his mom is horrible.

Porsha’s and Dennis’ joy with their new beautiful arrival was contagious.

They have a lot of work ahead of them in ensuring that they can have a long term relationship. I hope that they can work through all of that.

However, I am worried that The marriage isn’t going to between two people but with three. The third being Dennis’ nightmare mother butting into their lives.

I know that most people would like to have another parent in the picture to help them raise the child. However, when are these women (and I mean more than Atlanta; I mean all of the housewives) going to learn that a bad baby daddy is waaaaaaay worse than no baby daddy. Block is a terrible father. Eva's ex is fucking crazy. See above for Dennis. Kim Zolciak's ex-husband was raping his 14 year old step-daughter. Denise Richard's ex husband is Charlie Sheen. There's also Apollo. Kelsey's no prize. Bethenny's parenting relationship with Jason is beyond awful.

Porsha has only really known Dennis for a little over a year and 9 of those months were when she was pregnant. Should have gone with a sperm donor.

Yeah. I didn't watch the remaining two episodes of her special, but when I watched the first episode, I said that it didn't bode well for their relationship that all of his shit was in the basement. It would've been one thing if he was in the middle of moving his things upstairs, it's just that he had a lot of stuff, but no, she didn't set aside space for him upstairs at all. She treated him as if he was temporary, and I guess he was.

Though I do wonder if tension with his mother hastened the breakup. His mother did seem Mama Joyce-lite. I'm not with the overbearing, I treat my son as if he's my man type of mothers, so I blame no woman for exiting expeditiously if that type of situation arises. But as with most breakups, it's usually a multitude of things.

I think Porscha's biological clock was ticking & clearly she rushed things. Dennis is so mild-mannered compared to her controlling ex-husband, supports her career, has money & likes to buy her expensive gifts--- he checked all her boxes, but it takes more than that to make a relationship work. I am sorry for her that she didn't get her happily ever after, but not surprised. Dang, I was looking forward to Porscha's wedding special...

Porsha wanted to be a mom and having had a miscarriage, she longed for a baby. In the previous season before this one that ended she was clearly looking a man to father her child. I remember that guy she was trying to have a kid with and he was not having it. I wish Porsha the best of luck, the sad thing is she is now connected to Dennis for life.. I hope she and Dennis come up with a custody agreement that benefits all..
