She was approached once in a Wal-Mart shopping lot by some questionable types, but other than that, she shops, goes to Dr. appointments, the post office, the bank, socializes every Sunday at an old school casino with a polka band~all without fear for her safety. The mass shootings were a tragedy, but unfortunately it happens everywhere. I don't feel any less safe than in the past. Like any large city there are some dicey neighborhoods. They did have walls between the properties. There was also new construction of similar houses right down the street. The Brownies may be tired of Vegas. EmeraldGirl March 5, 2019 Share March 5, 2019 I personally think that Vegas is prettier than flagstaff. Kody was just pulling crap out of his ass with the concerns about safety, the “kinder” climate (with all that snow?), and the singing angels of beauty. I think he decided to bail on the mortgages, and now wants a nice retirement town. Kids don’t want a quaint (overused word by them all!) retirement town. Schools, activities, social life. Are the teens going to hang in that little downtown? So do polygamists divorce? If so, Merri would be long gone by now. Kody can’t stand her, and she said that they can’t even get a friendship going. Why would she move along with everyone else? Note to Kody - the ratings would be better if a separation happened. Merri bugs the crap outta me, but I have to say that sometimes she’s pretty funny. I would like to see how she acts away from that mess. The others are hopeless cases. Although I do think that Christine is the new trophy wife. Robyn looks like hell. Ain’t happiness grand? 12 Link to comment

I think Robyn is the one who cried over how pretty the trees were, Kody started stroking her hair and whispering sweet nothings or some such nonsense, so Aurora decided to follow her mother's lead and cry too. Something is off with that girl...it's kind of sad to see. She sounded pathetically stupid..."you have to give up your sports family, your girlfriend, your varsity captain spot, and your shot at a scholarship but hey - you'll get to play outside in the giant mudhole in our backyard!" She is HORRIBLE. I loathe her as much as I do Kody and that's saying something. I have a feeling that the Kodester dotes on Sol so much because the writing is on the wall with his other sons - Logan, Garrison, Gabe, Hunter, and Paedon have all openly told the viewers that they don't think terribly highly of their "dad." So Kody's sons are forging ahead with pretty impressive lives (waiting to get married, going to college , joining the military) while his grown daughters are marrying the first guy that looks their way. Way to go, Kodoof. You can take no credit for your sons' successes and your daughters are grabbing at the first glance of male attention in their lives. Good luck with Sol and Arabellialola. Popular Post NotinKansasanymore March 5, 2019 Popular Post Share March 5, 2019 OMG! Can anyone screenshot the look on Robin's face, when Meri announced at the family meeting that she and Kody liked a different property than the one Robyn and Christine liked. The real Robyn came out in the episode. When she entered for the family meeting, she gave Kody a hug and asked how the trip with Meri was, leading me to believe that they hadn't spoken since Kody and Meri returned. So for the first time ever, I think Robyn actually went into a family meeting being blindsided, since she almost always knows what Kody is going to discuss, since it's the two of them deciding most things, and this time she didn't know about this new property. It's funny cause Christine is use to it I think, and just smiled and questioned Kody and Meri about the price, and location, and said she would love to see it. They kept cutting to Robyn and the look of anger and confusion on her face was evident. So while Christine smiles and asks engaging questions, Robyn really just sat there looking pissed. She never smiled listening to Meri talk about the other land. I found it pretty funny. And of course Robyn is the one who thinks they should blow their savings, to live somewhere more expensive, to "help their quality of life." Yep, you know living in over 4,000 square feet mansions in a gated community, isn't a good enough quality of life for her. You know the life that they eat out all the time, take vacations, send their children to school, and don't work actual9 to 5 jobs. And then maybe she regretted it, and that's why she wanted to hold on to his arm? 8 Link to comment
Tabbygirl521 March 5, 2019 Share March 5, 2019 OK, are we to believe that Kody and Meri came back gushing about Cottonwood but didn’t even bring pictures for the others? The whole idea of expecting five adults to love the exact same place seems unrealistic. I think Robin’s attitude during the Cottonwood discussion reflects that. Like, oh, great, here we go again. (I just don’t see her as the Grwat Manipulator.) i think Meri and Kody did have some Precious Moments on their trip. How awful it would be to go from that to immediately negotiating with the rest of his “ladies.” How do they stand it?? 3 Link to comment
Kellyee March 5, 2019 Share March 5, 2019 I didn't finish the episode. I tried, but it was too boring. They are moving someplace more expensive so they can see trees? Am I understanding that correctly? They just want trees? Why not just plant some trees and add a water irrigation system in Las Vegas and be done with it? And poor Gabe gets lost in the shuffle because there are so many people in the family that no one person (except Kody) really matters. This show is one huge statement on why polygamy as a family style is flawed. And I can't figure out if Christine is really happy now or just on drugs. Maybe there is happiness in accepting that your husband is a huge asshole. Also, huge pet peeve: Nevada and Arizona are both red states. Yes, Las Vegas is more liberal, but they don't live on the Strip. Both are conservative states. They're not moving to a more conservative state like they keep trying to claim. If they want super conservative, try Alabama or West Virginia. And they need liberals because conservative Christians are not going to welcome them in. 24 Link to comment
Yeah No March 5, 2019 Share March 5, 2019 19 hours ago, Gothish520 said: Everyone's experience is different of course, but statistically most people do not remain friends for very long after high school. Really? Almost everyone from my graduating class from 43 years ago is at least still in touch on Facebook, plus some of my best face-to-face friends to this day are all from there too. Social media has made it much easier for us to stay in touch over long distances, which I'm sure will be the case for the Brown kids too. 10 Link to comment
