So, Larissa likes fatty pieces...now we know what Colt’s appeal is for her....

Poor Olga, all she  has in the world is Stephen, a nasty petulant shitheel. The look of seething rage on his face when he was behind the wheel looked like a still from an ID Discovery special. Shnikies! 

Jay and Ashley are just a run of the mill hot mess of dysfunction wrapped up in cheating and all it’s attendant fighting and drama. 😴😴😴 

Maybe Ashley shouldn’t have been so quick to throw her best friend  overboard for Jay of the Wandering  Eye...

No way are Leida’s parents rich. No family of financial means would let their daughter, let alone their cherished grandchild, live with with  the degenerate slob that is Eric. Either the family is putting on airs or there is an arrest warrant out for Leida.

Eric with his nasty gray t shirt, pasty cottage cheese arms and greasy comb over are making me fight my gag reflex at every turn. 🤮 Does he ever shower? He looks progressively dirtier to me every week.

And is it just me or do Eric and Tasha look the same age? They are what happens at the unfortunate intersection of bad genes and poor nutrition. Gotta say though that I love  how Tasha is handling her wicked stepmother and her miscreant father. I am sort of a fan. I gotta admit. Girl takes no prisoners. 

Kalani and Nick are such assholes taking Asuelo to learn how to ride bike...laughing, yelling and cracking jokes about training wheels. They suck. I just love how Kalani rolls her eyes at everything Asuelo says. I wish he would crash that bike in those two fat assholes.  Kalani, you got knocked up at  30 after having unprotected sex...and just quit your job, so you can live off your parents. Girl, you are no paragon of maturity.  Kalani and her judgey, arrogant gaslighting, bossy behaviors make me think two things :

1) That I am thankful for vodka. 

2) That even with vodka, I still really want to throat punch her. Sorry...not sorry. 

Kalani and her shitty family really need to take a breather and realize that if she were really “all that” she would not be in the situation she is. Ugh, that heifer needs to take a hard look in the mirror and stop jumping in Asuelo’s shit.

Jackie has an unfortunate upper lip.....just like her mom...who is a raging, jealous  bitch, btw. But I gotta admit that Jonathan knows how to throw some shade... “Mom, you’ve been married a few times....what is your advice for us? That was a master class shade toss. ;-)

Why is Mother Kalani in UTAH? Kalani needs to cut the strings.  One deep pit of codependent nuclear family drama. She said they got a sitter to go do something fun as a couple. Nick came along and she sat with her brother enmeshed in discussion of codependent nuclear family drama rather than getting to know and enjoy her fiance.  While she mocked him. Messed up.

Jon and Eric BOTH sacrificed their fiancee's for those convos. Jon clearly needed to meet with his mother alone first that fight was all their tension and Fernanda had to take the hurt. Jon is a chicken shit. So is Eric, he needed to lead that convo with his daughter and his fiance and set an example. Lol at Leida meeting the daughter in a nursing home housecoat with her bra hanging out.

Larissa has issues and so does Colt. This will not end well. 

Washed up Jessica Simpson looks more haggard by the day.  He is ready to be giving someone ELSE  the D every day. He is not stepfather material. 

Finally, Steven. Who has snapped and it occurs to me why. He is not the baby anymore. Deep mommy abandonment issues. Olga is all about the actual baby now. Once again, he has lost his mother figure from way back in his childhood and he is off the rails. He is defensive, attn seeking, and tamtruming like he is 5 again. Honeymoon is over. Therapy is their only hope his damage is showing.

And Fernanda doesnt need to sit on Jon's lap the first time they chat with his sister .... PDA is cute but not the first time you meet an already disapproving family.

Steven is annoying as hell. And he appears to be an asshole, but mostly just really freakin' ANNOYING. 

I didn't get to watch the entire episode yet, so I've only seen the first half. But does Leida ever even touch her own child?? Like ever? He goes from Grandpa to Eric and back to Grandpa. Leida talks about him in her talking head interviews, but they never seem to interact. Did that finally change in the second hour? So far, I don't think we've even seen her speak directly to her own kid. Maybe its the editing. I really hope so.

I think we know that Leida didn't win Miss Congeniality in her beauty pageant!

I mean, what an awful, awful person she is!  Even if Tasha is a dirty person and left the apartment that way on purpose, she should have been the bigger person as the older, future stepmother.  That is no way to talk to your fiance's child five minutes after you meet them.  I'm actually surprised Allessandro is there.  I would have thought that her parents would have offered to keep him in Indonesia, and that Leida would have agreed.  I mean, does Ledia  even interact with her kid?  I'm wondering why she wants him with her when his life would be seemingly better at home.  The woman who, at almost 30, lives with her parents can go take a hike when she's whining about Tasha living there (who pays half of the freaking rent)!

I also don't understand what the point of her parent's trip was if she stayed even with their negative reaction.  If it weren't for Allessandro, I think they'd be high-fiving each other the minute she left the house.  I'm not going to touch on Eric because at this point it is a given that he is gross and terrible.

Colt should never wear shorts.  I'm also pretty sure he can cough up $500 for a wedding.  That being said, Larissa is still annoying.  When my husband says something nice about  lady, I don't assume he wants to be in bed with her.  Ditto for him when I say something nice about a man.

Everyone this season is so unpleasant and unlikeable that I don’t want them in my LR anymore.

But I’ll still continue to read the comments.

The only exceptions for me are Olga and Tasha. I wish Olga could come to the States; not stay with the meth head, or whatever his problem is; co-parent the baby; and catch a break. Too bad she couldn't have picked an older, established, kinder man in Ocean City. 

Ashley seems entitled. 

I wonder if Coltee and Larissa are punking us. I bet they are both hipsters and/or performance artists because they are so over-the-top, Dearest, Darling. It’s already been done, and done better--Kip and LaFawnduh in “Napoleon Dynamite.” I get a little Marisa Tomei off her. She conversed with the restaurant waiter, so clearly she wanted to **** him and disrespect Dolt. 

The segments with Jonathan’s family (i.e., Madame and Mademoiselle Horseface) were simply strange. They certainly like to get in the digs at each other, don’t they? What the heck is Sonny doing in Lumberton, NC, anyway, whose main claim to fame is as a motel destination when driving to FL?

It’s weird to keep seeing these practically-empty properties contracted for this show with a few items from HomeGoods and Rent-a-Center thrown in. 

Private Baraboohole: I couldn’t care less about him or Deranged Tiger Mom (who couldn't give a fig about her kid, by appearances). I felt bad for Grandpa, but he raised that dillweed (with his wife of course) and probably fed DTM's delusions of medical grandeur. I bet they want to offload her but keep the kid. I believe Eric has substance-abuse issues and major depression. Nevertheless, I wanted to smack him when he (1) sat there like a dummy while Lay-duh (Leeduh? Lahdeeduh?) ignored and then attacked his daughter, in the daughter's home, (2) blamed all the mess on her, and (b) graciously offered to take her to a welfare/prostitution/drugs motel. I had a father like this, a cold, self-centered engineer as it happens. This has affected me very deeply, including in my love life. Tasha, great work and poise with this bunch, and I understand any passive aggressiveness about leaving, but I want to see you start your own life AWAY!! from them. Move to Milwaukee, get a job, go to school PT, heck, join the military, and don’t look back. Your Mom seems like a nice lady and I bet is on your side. 

I have no interest in Cousin Itt (AKA Kalini), and her manchild. If she couldn’t suss him out on past trips, she’s an even bigger (heh heh) fool than I thought. I do feel bad for the guy. He needs to go home. This whole show is a PSA for Planned Parenthood.

You nailed this completely on the head.  He is a psycho - that is a word I don't toss around too often.  His yelling at her about the damn hand washing was very disturbing, like he was scolding HER for his behavior.   Classic abuser:  "Look what you made me do!"

The look on Leida’s mom/dad/bros’ faces when Eric was saying goodbye was HILARIOUS.  Go back.  Look at it. LOLOL.  The saying goodbye to Aless was really sad, though.

Eric’s greasy hair was all I could stare at while they were cleaning the apartment.

Tasha was actually very mature and tried to be kind, but Leida was a really rude bitch to her from the start.  

“She’s my daughter, I’m not kicking her out” to throwing her under the bus and letting this random woman attempt to throw his daughter out in the first 5 mins being in her house was Eric at his lowest to me.  I LOVED Tasha being like “you aren’t on the lease, bi-atch”.  You can tell that Tasha was truly hurt by her father’s words and actions.  Leida is a gross, self-centered, nasty person, and so is Eric.  Those two deserve each other, but won’t someone think of the children?!

 

 

I did go back, and you're right. It was hilarious! Dad actually rolled his eyes when he said that Eric was going to take care of his grandson.  Mom was like, "Hmmph!" She is NOT a happy camper!

I think that the son must be the youngest, which is why he's not yet married. Also, the young chess player could be more math and/or science oriented, understanding some English, but not speaking very well. 

I think they must have really pressured Leida to excel, and she failed them miserably. They may not have set out to make her feel bad about herself, but they failed her miserably in that regard.  They obviously love her a lot or they wouldn't have showed up in America. Also, they love Alex and they're very concerned about his care! It was very sad to watch their faces from the window, getting one last glimpse at their small grandson.  I think they're praying he will eventually return to Indonesia.

They would have despised Eric less if he hadn't been so quick to throw his own daughter under the bus.

And, Leida's treatment of Tasha was despicable. I don't know what to say about Eric, that spineless, sweaty wonder, basically watching it all go down, sitting there with his bottle in his hand, thumping away at it.

Any therapist would have years of work ahead there.

I give him major credit for wanting to be in his son's life, but he's gonna have to get some therapy so that he doesn't damage his son's life. He can do it, but will he?

If Olga doesn't have anyone in Russia, then living with Steven's grandparents still may not be the worst idea. I think they would welcome Olga and their grandson with open arms. All of them would be good for each other and Steven could visit, provided he behaved.

I tossed and turned all night trying to decide who is more despicable, Eric or Leida.   I'm leaning towards Eric, for the way he sat there largely silent, marinating in his own sweat, as a belligerent stranger tried to force his daughter into the street.  Leida meanwhile does not seem like a young woman but instead a middle-aged shrew.  She acts more like she's running a restaurant than trying to make a home for her family.  Her hateful self-interest is extremely ugly.   Is it any wonder her family shed no tears upon saying goodbye?

Steven is but a step away from "Where were you tonight?  Who were you with?  You look like a whore in that dress ..."  Udachi, Olga.

Speaking of, who would have gwessed Larissa could throw around phrases like "attention whore?"  Okay for her to bat eyelashes at the Brasil Steakhouse waiter, but if Coltie jiggles his moobs even slightly at the bistro girl, look out.

I think Asuelu is a simpleton.    And an honest simpleton at that: "Because he is white and his mother is American."   Running alongside the bike was probably the only exercise Kalani & Bro. have had in months.

I feel Ashley because she has been cheated on, but Jay summed up her dilemma pretty succinctly: "I was a player and she's been played."

How come everyone is suspect of Fernanda rather than looking at pervo brother/son Jonathan and asking WTF is wrong with you that you want to marry a teenager?  That you bought boobs for a girl just out of high school?   What is your damage?

He'd insist on living there too, and possibly abuse his long suffering grandparents along with Olga. They don't seem to be to great at setting boundaries. Olga would have no one in her corner. Olga, to stay safe, needs to stay in Russia and ghost Steven. Move. Change phone number and block him from all her social media. He'll punch holes in the walls for awhile, but he'll eventually have to accept the situation. Either way things don't look good for Steven. He'll surely end up in jail. I can see why Olga would want to leave Russia. She could make a good life for herself and her baby in the US. She's intelligent, educated, speaks good English. But Steven will be a millstone around her neck. He will never, ever let her go, and heaven help any new man in her life.

Sadly, I think you're correct. This is one time when she's fortunate to have an ocean between the two of them. Also, I think she could block Steven moving to Russia, which he is crazy enough to try to do. He doesn't know the language, and she could point to his criminal record and pattern of abuse. Heck, she's got his volatile behavior on film! If he can't be nice when she's vulnerable from a c-section, he can't be nice. 

BTW, Steven, do you really expect your son to manifest patience? HE'S THREE DAYS OLD! Why don't you try learning some patience?

In an ideal world, we could just trade Steven for Olga.

Asuelu is a genius.  He learned to ride a bike in 90 seconds.  (It couldn't have been longer than that, because those 2 would've been drenched in sweat moving for 2 minutes straight.)

When a 300 lb. dude with a headband and unicorn shirt is your only option for a Man To Man Talk, you're just fucked.  How many cobwebs did they need to wipe off that bicycle since its last use?

Leida is a straight -up bitch.

The restaurant that the Coltees went for dinner is close to my house.  It's really good.  They have a great cold food bar.  I guess TLC skipped the veggie portion of the meal.

Is it wrong that I'm really hoping that Steven just kind of "disappears" in Russia?  I get that he might have had a rough childhood, but he's just continuing the cycle with his actions.  I always find it a huge red flag when someone says that they/their family have "anger issues".  It means they know they're assholes and use that as an excuse without actually trying to be different.  Hey Steven, 98% of us don't like to be told what to do, but as adults, we understand context and intent.  Olga isn't trying to interrupt your bond with your SON (his emphasis), she's trying to protect a newborn from germs.  She washes her hands too.

Were Steven a smart man, which he isn't, he'd realize that he is a poor American on a tourist Visa visiting a woman who may, or may not have your child (I trust Olga, but there is no legal proof).  He has zero power in this situation.  If he pushes her too far, when he flies home could easily be the last time he sees either of them.

Based on catching a glimpse of his mother, he is clearly looking for a compliant, pure hearted woman who will give him a lot of attention and affirmation. Her young age helps here along with her Mexican very family centric upbringing. Could  Mother Jon have combed her hair for television? Sister Jon and Mother Jon have strong Chicago accents that he does not I wonder where he grew up, and why Lumberton (NC I think)  and how long?

Agree. He bonded with Olga over the couple of weeks before the birth with intimacy he has probably not seen with a woman since his birth, if then. That has been taken away again. Olga is all about the actual baby now and recovering from her C section (which she should be). He snapped. Deep deep trauma. We were privy to a HUGE honeymoon phase and the bottom just fell out.

Steven needs serious therapy. That was some deep seeded anger bubbling to the surface. Poor Olga. You could see the confusion and sadness on her face in the car, while he was gaslighting the hell out of her. Maybe when he comes back to the US, he can take some time and get some counseling before Olga and Richie show up. I have a feeling there's a 50% chance Olga will never come to America, not because she doesn't want to, but it will come down to her safety, and the safety of the baby. 

Oh Asuelo! Aren't you the cutest little bike rider in all of Utah. It's too bad your fiance and her meddling brother can't say anything nice about you behind your back, even going as far to call you a toddler. Kalani is just not a very nice person. She expects everyone to roll out the red carpet for her in everything she does. Meanwhile, she has no job, and expects her parents/fiance/anyone to take care of her forever. 

Coltee is such a werido. Run Larissa! There must be a hot waiter at that Brazilian Grill that could make you happy.

Much of this show is set up and - as someone else pointed out - some of the homes depicted have  probably been rented for the show to accommodate camera work.  However Steven is not a set up. Steven is real and he's scary. The look of fury on his face as he raced them home from the hospital was not a set up.  I'm assuming the car is rented for the show and equipped with cameras.  But Steven had forgotten they were there.

Steven is dangerous. None of the others are particularly interesting or likeable.  Why wouldn't the rich girl's parents buy them a house or apartment?  If not for their stuck up daughter, wouldn't they do it for their grandson? Ugh, Eric makes my skin crawl.  Does he ever bathe?

I agree.  The look on his face plus his unrelenting "SAY YOU WERE WRONG!!!  I DID WASH MY HANDS!" was disturbing to me.  Dude, it is over.  Move on.  Next he will be harping that she is nursing too long either time wise (15 or 20 minutes) or time wise (three months is too long for him - he wants his hot Russian f*&k back.....NOW.)

As someone in SPED who works with kids who have been through trauma.......Olga, please get him out of your life.  I am NOT a fan of separating kids from dads as involved healthy dads are a cure for many of society's ills, but Steven is NOT IT.  He will inflict trauma and stress OVER and OVER as he is always right and he has been wronged, DAMMIT!!!

I cannot get past Kalani's superior attitude and the way she can't utter a syllable without talking down to someone! Do you even KNOW another way to talk, Kalani? First let me get my biggest pet peeve about this show out of the way. I despise when these US morons act like they have 90 days to decide whether to marry. Bitch, you already decided to marry when you proposed and filled out that K1 application, which I wouldn't doubt contains an affidavit attesting to your intention to marry. They need to stop acting like this is some 90 day trial offer like some as seen on tv item. Use it and if you don't like it after 90 days - send it back for a full refund. This ain't an airfryer or pancake flipper. This is a human being. 

So many shit people this season, but there still manages to be that couple that pulls ahead of the crowd and be the king and queen of all Assholes. Enter Leida and Eric. I myself will now choose to think that Tasha purposefully trashed the apt because she wanted to make Leida feel at home. A trash person deserves trash surroundings. 

I really, really want to know what Eric sees in Leida. She is about as sexy as a box of kleenex, has the charm of a alligator and all the warmth of the iceberg that took out the Titanic. Can you imagine that cold ass bitch as a doctor? Is he a submissive? Is she a dominatrix? One thing you can say about Leida, she definitely ain't living up to the Asian women are subservient and docile stereotype. LOL! 

Eric really should've gone with door #2 and gone off to fight Isis. They would either have put him out of his misery or died laughing. 

Eric sitting in a puddle of his own sweat suggesting that his own daughter go live in a squalid rape emporium (i.e. week to week no tell motel) is just about the most vile thing I think I have ever seen aired on this show. 

Leida's hypocrisy and lack of self awareness is just astounding!!! She herself was a woman of damn near 30 living off her parent's largesse and didn't move out until she had a sucker lined up but a girl in her teens needs to be kicked out onto the streets post haste because it serves her purposes. The way she wants to know who pays what is disgusting because you can see her gears clicking in motion and trying to put Tasha out on a technicality. 

One thing this season has crystallized is that you need to vet your partner before you procreate with them. Surprise vacay babies are not a life goal. 

I wish Steven had gotten buck on the hospital staff that way he would've been literally cooling his heels in a Siberian gulag and letting poor Olga heal from her c-section and care for her newborn in peace. I feel so sorry for that poor girl. She literally has no one. She grew up not only as an orphan but as a Russian orphan in a Russian orphanage. She is absolutely right in that if Steven is this much of an a-hole over please and thank you what will he morph into when real issues arise? He is a little rage monkey that "doesn't like to be told what do to." LOL! Which is why he is a high school dropout, with no career, no prospects, kicked out by his mom and couch surfing at his poor grandparents home. 

Kalani thinks Asuleu acts like a 5 year old. Well guess what dummy? You had sex and procreated with a mental 5 year old - WTF does that make you? If she is that fearful and feel she can't ever leave him alone with his own child, maybe she should look into some parenting classes for him.

Coltee is shaped like an XXL bowling pin. Color me surprised that the venue he showed Larissa seemed decent enough. The way he and mom sputtered over $50 per head head for a wedding reception, which is a great deal, I thought they were headed the drive thru window way.

They had to learn about her through his facebook page. Say what you will about Fern but she seems kind, fun and mature beyond her years. Jon should've went to his mom and spoke to her one on one to hammer out their issues before having all three of them sit down. 

Ashley if trust is important to you, than a 20 year old Caprisun drinking young man who is a self admitted player with a dad he admires who happens to have a nickname based on all the pussy he gets may not be the best choice in a mate.

I agree with you about Jay.  If my husband left without telling me, I'd be upset.  It's just common courtesy so I don't go looking for him and realize he's not there!  I think maybe Jay wouldn't be as defensive if she wasn't going through her phone as if she was his mother and he was a teenager!

Olga/Steven and Kalani/Asuelu are poster children for using protection when having sex with someone you just met on vacation!

I love you for making this reference!  I have taught this little gem to our children and use it whenever the need arises.  Last night our 19-year-old daughter watched this mess with us and said right out loud regarding Jon/Fernanda "ooooh, total trashcan lid move".  I was a proud bonus-momma.  =)

 

That being said, we deserve what we accept in this life.  Fernanda, you're too young to really know it yet (IMO), but Jon doesn't respect you, you're his trophy.  Move along and find someone who treats you like his treasure, not his trophy.
