Ok, I know Kelly should have listened to Tamra about Vicki, but sometimes you have to find out for yourself that someone isn't good for you.  

I don't mind Gina or Emily at all... they're new and they provide different flavors (some flavors are better than others).. but I like that this show adds and takes out housewives so that it never becomes totally stale (NY, BH, and Atlanta need bigger cast shakes ups..imho).

Why does Vicki have to tell everyone that she helped her kids buy their homes. Maybe that’s why Brianna packed up and left got sick and tired of hearing about how much help her mother is to her.

And michael was trying his hardest to damn Briana to 12th gate of hell  for escaping from this wanton bag of suckage, desperation and asshole that is Vicky. 

Shannon is such a spazz. I love her for it.

Me thinks Andy put his foot down and told Tamra and Shannon to make up with Vicki. Now Shannon is bonding with Kelly and leaving Tamra behind WITH VICKI and Tamra is not liking that. Kelly was ride or die for Vicki her first two seasons even after Vicki made her look like a douche on the trip to Ireland. I’m glad she’s off that bandwagon, i like her and Shannon together.

 I was surprised Shannon didn’t bother checking in on Tamra after Eddie’s heart procedure because she was having a hard day.  Not good, Shannon.  Not good.

Also really shitty of Vicki to invite Michael not Kelly for Thanksgiving but not surprising.

On one hand I appreciate that she's not afraid to take on Vicki. On the other hand I find she's way too young for this group. They shouldn't bring on anyone younger than 40. And I can't handle her or Emily's little ones. I don't mind kids, just not that young on my RH shows and not ones that scream like banshees and appear to be out of control... nails on a chalkboard... Gina would probably fit better with the RHONJ crowd.

I find that I’m enjoying the look of her body. She looks strong. At first i thought she was a little overweight (not a big deal at all) but then when i saw her in her work out clothes all I could see was a strong body. Of course next to Tamra everyone looks huge.

I kind of felt that the scene with Eddie and Tamra shouldn’t have been filmed or shown.  He had some heady information to process and I think he should have been able to do that privately.  Of course, I realize he’s married to Tamra.

Kelly's going to have to learn to rely on herself. She had Jolie for Thanksgiving. The two of them might have had fun cooking a traditional meal themselves, or starting some other new holiday tradition for just them. It sounds like Steve invited Michael, or Michael basically invited himself. You know what I say to all of that? Fuck 'em. Figure it out yourself. If she didn't get an invite to Vicki's at least a few days prior, she should have made other plans, plans that didn't involve the Balboa Club.

I don't buy this at all. For as much eye-rolling as Brianna did at Vicki, she never had a problem accepting things from her. I mean, she IS Vicki. I suspect her husband, Ryan the abusive Douche, is the reason that she left Orange County. She was in way too big a hurry to get back there for Vicki to really be that big of a problem for her. But, Ryan's behavior was getting a lot of unwanted attention and now she is away from any of her family and her only support system is Ryan and his family. I'm actually a little worried about her being cut off from everyone considering his temper.

Good point, but, the reason I think Vicki should have invited Kelly is because Kelly was pretty much the only Housewife that would film with Vicki last season before the reunion of Tamra, Shannon and Vicki.  Vicki filmed with Kelly, Briana, her grandsons, and, Steve.  Kelly and Shannon hated each other until recently.

Emily's husband can STFU. His wife invites women over to have a good time, supplies countless shots but Gina sucks because she had a good time and enjoyed herself.  Don't get me wrong Gina probably would have gotten on my nerves after while but Emily invited these women over to FILM and drink in her home did he expect them to be quiet?  

I feel bad for Eddie his health issues are serious and he's in a car with a camera and those two. Yeah he made those choices but I still felt bad for him.

Emily's husband is a stone cold idiot...not only did he insult his wife, her castmates, and at least 60% of the viewing audience with his little comment, he insulted his own damn mother and sister who were there, soaking up the drama (especiallly his mother).  They collectively should kick his ass and tell him not to come around again until he's seen Terry Dubrow for a breast reduction.

Other than that, all's I know (TM the Countess) is that I feel bad for Eddie having to undergo all those unsuccessful heart procedures.  My aunt just had one of those shock-to-fix-afib procedures done, and while it worked for her, it certainly was no day at the beach.  It must be super depressing for it not to work.

So remember how Emily said they had been platonic coworkers for years and then one day out of the blue he called (or maybe texted?) her and asked her to marry him.  I mean, none of their story reads like anything other than a marriage of convenience.  What that convenience might be, I am unclear.  Not exactly a love story for the ages, but hey if it works then what do I care...although it does seem like Emily tries to pry the romance from him.  It seems like she's more invested emotionally or romantically.  If I had to speculate I would posit that he is repressing his sexuality due to his religion and was getting pressure to get married and have a family.  He just seems miserable to me.

Vicki and the ghost bird! That shit was hilarious. I love that both Michael and her assistant weren't having it. Michael is great. He calls Vicki out on her ignorance, ignores her, and STILL makes that money. You do you, Michael!

 

It was nice to see Shannon and Kelly bonding. I like the idea of the two divorcees hitting the town together. Plus, I love that they can laugh at - "It was you!" - "Who???"

 

I cannot believe David took the bike he gave Shannon! Oh wait, yes I can. This is the same dude that wants his last name back. 

 

I don't want to hear Tamra whining about being jealous of Shannon and Kelly. She should recognize that Shannon might connect more with someone in a similar situation than a happily married woman. Also, she's lamenting that Shannon used to call her a million times a day? Just last year she was complaining about that! You can't have it both ways, Tamra.

That being said, Shannon isn't the only one with problems. She would probably actually feel better if she stepped outside herself and focused on her friend's problems instead. 

 

I gotta say, that poker outfit was so hideous, but I love that Shannon commits to a theme. 

I'm here all day, every day, for Kelly bringing up Vicki setting up her ex. Bring it up every episode. I love it! Vicki is garbage and deserves to be treated as such. 

She IS a constant letdown. And didn't Kelly's entire family side with Michael? I can totally see her feeling a lot more vulnerable right now; so it doesn't help to have a friend being so disloyal. I mean, she had Michael for thanksgiving and not Kelly? Come on....

But Kelly dumped the spine doctor because he wouldn't buy her sunglasses? What???

I gotta say, Vicki is the last person who should complain about anyone yelling. Gina was loud at the party,but.....it was a party? Shane can have a seat also. I'm sorry that you have a bunch of guests over to play cards and ply them with alcohol all night.....then get mad when they are a bit loud....at 10 freaking pm. Give me a break. 

 

I feel so badly for Eddie. It must really suck to feel that awful and nothing can fix it. I didn't think what Tamra said was bad at all. She's just relaying the doctor's info. At this point, she's kind of damned no matter what she does. Eddie is in a real fucked up head space; and, unfortunately, she's going to bear the brunt of his frustration. I just hope they can get something figured out soon.

Poor Eddie; to go through these health issues while being filmed!  I cannot imagine having a camera on me while talking serious health issues; knowing that the footage would be shown on teevee.  But.  It almost seems as though he is checked out.  Just about any time he is shown, he is looking down at his phone...especially when Tamra is talking to him.  He was looking down at his phone in the car, on the way home from the hospital (is was the hospital,wasn't it?).  Of course, it looked like he was sitting beside Ryan, so I can't blame him for tuning out and not wanting to look over.  He answers Tamra in a monotone almost all the time.  I almost wish they weren't filming him through this, because him trying to process all of this should be private.  But then again, that is what these people sign up for.  

And I never thought I would say this, but I kind of feel sorry for Tamra.  A little.  She was talking to him in the car and he was just not hearing her.  Maybe it is her idea to have this ordeal filmed and he is resentful?  I like Eddie and wish he could get support privately and not on a reality show.

Agreed that this episode was pretty dull. I don’t care about the Vicki and Kelly fight, and I care even less about all the family scenes with the small rugrats.

I think the deal with Kelly and the spine doctor was that she had just paid for a very expensive dinner.  I can kinda understand her seeing that as a red flag- I had an ex who never paid for anything (though he was the one picking the expensive hotels and restaurants) but never hesitated to spend money on himself.  But I was too inexperienced to see that behavior as shady.

How many shots do you think they did? Shane's mom and sister were tossing them back too, so it's not like it was just Gina or the cast being "drunken". I guess they (mom and sis) are not Mormon.

I think it's the makeup.  When she wears just a little she looks her age but in some scenes she piles it on like The Nanny * and looks much older.  Ironic.

The Orange County girls are losing me.  It's hard to stay interested and I kept changing channels.  

I watch the New York version which is fun. I think I'm done with Orange County - are there any other HWs in the franchise that I should watch?

What was with that awkward cheek kiss thing between Emily and Shane? There is no chemistry between them. I'm not even sure I believe they are friends. I'm starting to wonder if the kids being conceived in petri dishes has less to do with infertility, and more to do with a marriage of convenience.
