I'm still trying to figure out what Freddy does for two hours in the shower. Come to think of it, he's probably just hiding in the only place she can't come after him.

I thought he might get out through the bathroom window, and just leave the water running.

That was unreal. Freddy was pathetic, I hope it is a lot of money he gets from her, just to be her pet dog.

Someone found him on Facebook, and he has a job.  Maybe he just had to quit when she was going to move to Houston.

As for the water retention, it does happen before menopause but it is not helped by a high level of sodium found in fast food, overeating and pizza.

It's something that I think most of us have been told, but it always surprises me that this isn't stressed when Dr. Now is giving them the diet.
The only time I recall hearing this on the show, was when someone went to a doctor for lymphodema/lipodema.

nd THANK YOU to everyone who did the live chat last night. I missed the first showing of this dumpster fire, and watched the later broadcast. Then, raced to my computer, knowing that the live chat would be EPIC. Great job, Pounders!  Twenty pages of excellent snark.

Amen.  I enjoyed reading this---all 20 pages---last night.

I can't find her Facebook page.  I wanted to see the snark there.

I can't find it now either. Looks like she might have disabled it. She's probably astonished at the negative reaction she got from people. Don't they know that she had a rough childhood? That gives her carte blanche to be as abusive as she wants to whomever she so chooses.

It's there. Under Schenee Murry.

I just reloaded it. It's still there.

I found it under Schenee Hawkins.

She may be very intelligent--although we didn't see evidence of that last night--but have some kind of cultural bias (and by cultural I don't mean African-American; I mean the culture of the super morbidly obese) about believing that her weight depends on what she eats.  None of them seems to get it at first go.  The ones who succeed catch on sooner or later, but even after losing 91 pounds in a month on a controlled diet Schenee wasn't able to make the connection.  The fact that she is young and still somewhat ambulatory is all that's keeping her from dying, and those two conditions are not going to last much longer.

I thought at first that Freddy was a sweetheart, but it soon became clear that he was the worst kind of enabler--he not only brought her food she shouldn't have been eating in quantities she should not have been eating, he bolstered her delusional outlook on the whole process, starting with how Dr. Now was treating her (the very idea of her telling the therapist that it was "almost" like he was swearing at her!)  He backed up her lies at every chance, and he confirmed her version of that phone call.  I have no doubt he cares about her, but I think he's enured to her eating habit and all that that entails.

I wondered about the sexual assaults, too.  Her mother was aware of the one that happened when she was very young because she had distressing physical symptoms--did the mother confront the cousin?  Were there any consequences?  And did she go to the cops about the second one?  I know rape is probably the most under-reported crime there is, and it makes me sad to think that she probably did not report it.  I want to grab these guys who attacked women like Schenee and show them how much damage they've done (although I agree that Schenee was well on her path before at least the second attack).

And Freddy is totally jacking off in the shower.  But for two hours?  A man of steel!

That chick was ticking off all the boxes for Narcissistic Personality Disorder... That whole "god" argument really bothered me until I realized that she was pulling the NPD manipulative tactic of a double-bind: there was no right answer. Whatever he answered she'd have turned it around on him... I also caught the lying, the word salad, the circular conversation, the gas lighting and those evil, narcissistic smirks... I remember years ago I heard, "all narcissists are addicts, but not all addicts are narcissists"...

That's really interesting about the types of arguing. My ex used to do all of that.

Okay, last night I only got to watch bits and pieces so I am finally just watching it straight through now. That being said...

WHAT'S UP WITH THE DOGS?

I noticed at least two of them in that little cage outside the house.

Why would you even HAVE a dog if you're going to treat it like that?

She thinks she didn't like going out in public before? Wait until the whole world knows about that.

I hope someone takes those dogs away from her and put them in a loving home. Please.....

I have a sister in law with the same name as this week's guest.  It's spelled differently but pronounced the same.  Physically, she's the opposite.  My sister in law is a short and skinny white woman.

I don't understand why it took them so long to find housing.  When I moved out to Indianapolis a year and a half ago, I went apartment shopping via Apartments.com.  Narrowed it down to a couple options, then signed all the leasing paperwork through the mail.  I stayed at a motel one night upon my arrival, and this was merely because it was 10 PM and the leasing office was, of course, closed.

Maybe they were trying to get Section 8 housing and there was a big wait?  I dunno.  Most other participants don't have this kind of trouble.

I remember after she spent that time in the hospital on the controlled diet and she lost the weight, she briefly seemed exuberant and determined to make it.  I wasn't buying it, but I think she was.  Schenee, like all the participants who fail at this, want to lose weight, in the same sense I want to be wealthy.  We want it, but don't want to put in any effort to that goal.  I'd rather win the lottery or just have some mega billionaire write me a huge check.  I don't expect this to happen, or think I deserve it, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it.

The childhood molestations are tragic and certainly explain her addiction to food for comfort. However, none of that gives her license to berate and insult the people who are trying to help her.  So many people we see on here really don't have much of a support system. This moron appears to be surrounded by family and friends who are helping her and she takes it all for granted.  I have no compassion for this one.

When I saw the blonde woman with the big bag of tacos next to her...... ugh!

It was clearly, to my viewing, because they were having a hard time finding Section 8.

I don't understand why they kept moving from motel to motel during the wait for an apartment.

Let's not even get into the brilliant non-plan of "moving" to Houston without a place to live, AND knowing she hadn't done a damn thing to lose weight and had no intention of changing her eating habit. Maybe that's too much knowledge and intelligement for my limited intellect.

When Freddy hopped up off the sofa and interrupted Schenee & Dr. Now's conversation regarding the pizza & burgers, I just knew it wasn't going to work out.

It seems like the dysfunctional relationship between show participant and their caregiver(s) is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome with many of them, especially this episode.  He just seemed like, I don't know like he almost got some sort of masochistic pleasure out of the way she treats him, all the while being subservient to her.  Not that there's anything wrong with alternative relationships, but finding pleasure in it while assisting her slow suicide at the same time struck me as particularly disturbing.

I recalled during the phone call when she was going on about her water retention being the cause of her not losing weight, it wasn't the first time Dr. Now challenged her delusional thinking and tried to sciencesplain to her that it's just not rational so she switched gears to "Do you believe in God?" and then went on about not wanting to be treated by anyone who didn't.  I thought, oh here we go, she's a Scientologist or some such that doesn't "believe in" any sort of psychotherapy outside of the church.  I was generally surprised she didn't drop out right after that phone call and actually went to see Lola.

Ya'll were right~those Facebook snarkers are brutal, except for the ones begging her to find a home for those dogs if she won't let them out of those cages.

If this took place after Hurricane  Harvey  hit that maybe why she had trouble  finding  an apartment  in the Houston  area they were hard to find.

I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who noticed how soft-spoken and sweet she started out  and then gradually showed her true nasty, manipulative, argumentative colors. The way she looked at Freddy while blasting him for not doing enough for her and/or having to be reminded or actually asked to do more for her was positively demonic. That's when she had the nerve to tell him that she does everything for him--translation, in her words, economic support. If washing and bleach rinsing her ass and folds (actually got nauseous just writing that) isn't work, I don't know what is. Ungrateful heifer.

No shit!  Did I hear her say something to Freddy like, "all you do is wipe my ass?"  Abusive bitch.  I'd say that's above and beyond, all by itself!

I'm approaching the end of this shitshow, and thank the maker for that.

Someone, anyone, please tell me that I did not hear Schenee complaining that Freddy was "selfish" and "didn't do anything for her." Please, I'm begging you. PLEASE assure me that she did not whine about his refusal to spend TWO HOURS bleaching her fat folds.

Go ahead. I can wait. It's going to take me awhile to scrape my poor jaw off of the couch.

Klassy!

I still think she does feeder porn. I think that's how Freddy met her. She doesn't want to give it up. But she does want to be on teevee.

See Pepper Mostly, among so many other things, her seeming desire to be the next big thing (pun intended) on tv and social media is what I found to be the most infuriating (or, as Schenee would say, "influriating," lol) . She's only 27 years old, is trapped in this massive body, food is her only comfort or semi-social activity, and, most importantly she has a good chance at not living long enough to see 30. Yet, from the very beginning of her "journey," she demonstrates absolutely no interest or puts forth any effort to lose weight . So, as you say, was her only motivation to be a "celebrity" like Steven ASSanti, to bump up traffic for her bullshit online business, score a reality tv show, or what?

How someone that young could be so indifferent to racing towards an early grave is astounding.

As I said upthread, she is the nasty, bullying, lazy female version of James K.

How y'all doin? DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD?!? It is a statement really, not a question.

The food porn/feeder dynamic explains how they get the money to eat so much take-out food. I don't understand how it all works. Does the client pay up front and then Freddie runs out to get the food or is it delivered by Uber Eats? It helps to explain how Schenee supports Freddie. I have so many questions. Not to be sexist, but would a woman pay to watch James K or Steve Asanti eat?

She lost 91 lbs on a controlled diet. Why didn’t/wasn’t Freddy sneaking food to her during that period? What changed after she went home? Obviously she ate all the wrong stuff and gained it back, but I can’t understand why she couldn’t grasp that it’s the food  that caused it. Dr Now should have thrown that in her face, was God only there with her in the hospital?

i suspect she realized if she did succeed with the weight loss, she’d lose her power over everyone. She’d have to wipe her own ass.

Am I the only one who heard Dr. Now say, "I believe in God."??? Sorry, have not read through all the pages yet.....maybe you already discussed this.

I don’t think he answered her. He knew it was just a ploy to divert the subject from her failure to adhere to his instructions. If he gave her an answer she’d be able to use it in any future arguments with him. Smart move on his part.

Her asking him about God was bullshit anyway, I think it was the first time she mentioned God in the whole show. It was strictly an attempt to deflect from her failure.

My eyeballs almost popped out of my head when she said she had been too busy moving to the new apartment to eat healthy.  WTF?  Busy doing what?  Being propped up in bed all day?  I have never yelled so much at my TV in a 2-hour period as I did last night.  Not even for Assanti or Penny or Lisa, and the other waste of time patients.

Dr. Now was at his no-BS best last night; I love that he does not coddle or baby his toddlers patients.

LOL @ the Mom giving her daughter the riot act in her "Glory To God" t-shirt in front of Dr. Now. Has she looked in the mirror as well? She  could use the services of Dr. Now. Maybe they can get a 2 for 1 discount. Why did the entire family have to travel down together, and Freddy was stuffed in the corner like the luggage? That had to be majorly uncomfortable. I wonder if they have a cage for him next to the poor dog.

He did say, towards the end of the conversation, that he believed in God. But then he brought the conversation back to science and medicine as Schenee was ranting about how God only made perfect things, including her.

I heard him say it, too. I think he moved towards placating her just a bit in order to try to get her to drop her guard a bit so that he could talk some sense into her.

Sometimes you have to do that with people even in a professional setting.

Unfortunately she was hellbent on sounding like an idiot.

I sincerely doubt it.  Women don't even usually make up 0-10% of a male "escort"/prostitute's clientele, let alone the voyeur webcam porn industry. Men are overwhelmingly the customers...bizarre/extreme or not, however the bizarre and extreme providers of porn typically get more $$$.

I don't even know where to begin with this freak show of an episode.  One of the first things that really disturbed me was the fact that she drives.  I'm glad I am nowhere near Texas or Indiana.  How could she possibly react in an emergency situation?  Her response time to get her foot on the brake has to be significantly longer than normal.

And I wanted to yell at my TV when she was harping on Freddy because he didn't spend two hours on her baths like he did on his showers.  What is he doing in the shower for two hours?  Crying, escaping, praying???  And I seriously wanted to punch my TV when she was berating him when he was looking for the bleach.  If he had an ounce of working brain in his head he would walk out of that bedroom, out the front door, and never look back.

Thanks for listening, I feel better for sharing!

Yeah, there was some confusion during live chat over what exactly they were even fighting about, but live chat was really hoppin’, so I think we all just got distracted by whatever the next debacle was, but yes, she was mad because he wasn’t spending as much time bleaching and washing her folds as he does on his own showers. Queenie’s sense of entitlement is amazeballs.
