Also, she's proud of her product that's her other baby. You can see the glee and excitement in her face when she talks about it. So maybe from what we saw in the episode it wasn't the "VIP tour" some expected but she was genuinely excited to go to the tequila plant. She was excited to show the ladies where her shit gets made.

I get it, people hate her and people hate her product but I don't see anyone denying that she has managed to put her product front and center on a national tv show and it's worked for her. The casual viewer (I have two friends) seems to enjoy her and I'm sure some of them have at least gone out and tried at least one of her products because they saw it on the show.

I agree with her, using the show to push her brand, however all her events are low rent.

I was expecting much, much more out of Tequila day!

In addition, She is very lucky that the ladies are not true bitches and went along with the flow.

I have yet to see the skinny girl meat but I see her other products everywhere.

Did Bravo cut the travelling budget for this show?

Nothing compares to the BH girls, those women are truly living luxurious lifestyles.

Really?  She's mentioned her age quite a number of times this season.   She talked about it in terms of wanting to settle down and have a baby because time wasn't on her side at 41.

Maybe my view was affected by the fact that earlier this week I watched the documentary on Princess Diana that Princes William and Harry produced.  Princess Diana may not have been perfect, but she exuded true class and heart.  She spent more time than we will ever know helping the homeless, those afflicted with AIDS, the victims of landmines, and countless other people.  It was moving an inspiring to see the she used her wealth, power, and fame to help others.  She was LADY Diana in every sense of the word.  

Nope, can't say I did. I loved Princess Di - and really enjoyed that documentary.  She was a wonderful humanitarian.  But just because somebody doesn't rise to her levels of charitable works doesn't make them a bad person.

I don't drink a lot, but when I get together with my college girlfriends for a fun weekend, hell yeah it's on and popping.  Doesn't mean that in our "real life" we are not successful business women, mothers, volunteers, etc. 

So, no, I don't see where these women drinking and having a blast on a PAID vacation is even remotely veering on sad.

Everything about Ramona is brassy and overdone.  She needs to replace the stringy bikinis with more structured garments that enhance her shape rather than cut into her shape.  All of that money she has spent on surgery/dermatology and you'd think she'd get her teeth straightened or at least veneered.  Her snaggly teeth make her look old as much as her posture and gait.  I totally agree that she looked her best at the vow renewal with the long bob and bangs.

Yes. But not entirely for the reasons that you did. I don't often think of them so deeply, but I just find them sad. They've got healthy bodies and brains, loads of money - the means to be happy.  But I don't think they are. Not one of them is able to sustain a healthy relationship. Even friendships seem hard. 

The dysfunction runs deep with these women. But anyone who signs up for a HW role has to be dysfunctional at their core, imo. It's a prerequisite for the job. And what makes them interesting to watch. Trainwrecks, all of 'em.

It's sad, but I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for them. How can they watch themselves on TV, year after year, and not think, "Damn, this is messed up." But they sign up again, only the next year they've lost their husbands or jobs or their children will no longer talk to them.  Or they continue being loud obnoxious drunks and lose their respectability. And for what?  Some money and an occasional mention on Page Six. I was going to say that at least they get some nice trips out of it. But I agree with you - how enjoyable can a trip really be if you're going with people you don't even particularly like?

I think being on television has become the MOST IMPORTANT thing in the life of every one of them.  Each probably thinks she's as newsworthy as Princess Grace, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie (fill in a name) or whatever star or celebrity floates her boat.

If I fell in some bushes, I would look like a busted ass cabbage patch kid in some weeds. Possibly falling in dog poop.  Lu looked like she was in some high end perfume campaign.

I guess then I am left with, it became almost a time share experience, where one goes for the free weekend and has to sit through the sales presentation.  Sorry, they could have gone to Mexico and not done the tour. For all the hoopla Bethenny put into it, it just fell flat and thankfully didn't take up a great deal of the episode. Riding in the helicopters was probably the best part. The tour was just them actually sitting through a meal and NOT arguing.  That was the only thing that was unique.  The tequilas they were tasting had nothing to do with Skinnygirl-they were high end-not something added to a bunch of artificial flavors.  Although there were some nice Skinnygirl napkins and logos on hard hats it was about tequila.  I am guessing Skinnygirl Tequila-which Bethenny claimed last year was forthcoming is no longer on the drawing board of Suntory Beam.

Upon the second viewing of this episode, I've decided it is Ramona's gait that makes her appear so matronly.   If I were to spend that much money on plastic surgery I would definitely improve my posture for television.  Wow

Ro looks great for being sixty years old.  She doesn't look as great as she thinks because she thinks she's in her forties. 

I really don't get the 'need' for so many of these women in all the franchises to walk around in shoes that they can't walk in.  Ro and LVP are prime examples.  And I think that this is the reason why Ro always looks so awkward when walking.  If you notice, Ro always sits very straight.  Annoying straight.  Even Andy has said something about it on WWHL.   I think she does it to make her stomach look flatter.  I think when getting those oversized breast implants, she thought her stomach would look smaller.  Didn't work.  Just like Beth's implants don't work.  Yep.  There goes a woman with implants.  They're obviously not real.

Frankly after seeing Ramona dance I don't know if there is hope of changing her gait.  Perhaps some ballet for adults classes (to improve balance and show her how to carry herself less awkwardly) but nothing will ever give her grace of movement.

I have been enjoying Carole way more and even Beth in the recent episodes.  I've noticed they aren't stuck at the hip to each other, like last season. They came off very mean girl last season, so I'm assuming it's purposely made decision on Beth's (and Carole's ) part. Tbh, I don't even care. I don't want to dislike every woman on the show.  It's  much more enjoyable to watch this season.  It's so hard to watch when you can't stand everyone on the show. 

Ramona on other hand, I can't stand that woman,  and there is almost nothing she can do  to change my opinion of her.  She disgusts me.

Ramona just looks bad these days.

It's amazing that Ramona managed to learn "good" posture from ballet, but no rhythm or grace. I can't believe she says or believes this. We've seen her dance. We've seen her walk. Ballet. Ok.

Ramona made a bad decisions when she chose to make her implants that large.  They do absolutely nothing good for her shape or appearance, and she seems to have done it in the wake of her divorce while she's feeling hurt, angry and depressed.  Maybe she did it to "show Mario what he's missing," or because she thinks that's what men want, but she went from normal looking to exceptionally awkward and matronly.   Maybe she'll get tired of them and realize she doesn't look good with them and replace them with smaller implants.  Her friends should be encouraging her to consider that.  If she isn't in therapy, that should be her first stop.  She is so uncomfortable with herself and so miserable.

Sonja is so jealous of Tinsley.  I hope Tinsley has learned to be careful of who she thinks are her friends.  I like Tinsley as an addition to the show as she hasn't really done anything heinous to someone else, so I can tolerate her.  But they need to rename it to Real Ex-Housewives of NY.  Lu is the only married one!

Thanks for the clarification. I thought Carole's butt plug remark was about herself. (Now it makes sense as another subtle towards Luann and the manufactured gossip about Tom form the dim sum and then some lunch.) Girlfriend is beginning to come off as quite the sexual expert. First, she brought up anal sex, then (incorrectly ) described a jerk circle, then butt plugs. She seems w-a-a-y to straitlaced but ya never know what goes on behind closed doors or on the cat hair covered ratty sofa.

I was getting quite ill just watching all of the drinking. I, too, have tequila at the top of my "never drink again list." My first encounter was actually my first (underage) drink of a tequila sunrise. Ugh. Then, another time, margaritas in the sun. NEVER AGAIN.

I am winding up my first full season watching this bunch and they did not fail to entertain! However, I've got to say that although I find Ramona needy, obnoxious and irritating, I don't dislike her anywhere never the level of Sonja. What a skank and yes, she's about 50 shades of green with jealousy over Tinsley. Bravo has a video that precedes this season's first episode that gives some background on the current group of HWs (which was immensely helpful) and I saw some of the clips of Sonja, in particular, the one where she was flailing around and let's just say that that waxing esthetician had her work cut out for her and I understand why Luann said she's "Sonja's snatch guard." Gross and tacky, just like her nasty townhouse. I am sure that IRL, Tinsley didn't live there for any length of time but how could she stand it?

I liked Lu much better as the season progressed. Her falling drunk into the bushes was one of the funniest things I've seen.  Agreed that she's much more fun when her gigolo husband isn't around. Interesting to see if she's still MARRIED when the next season rolls around.

I can't believe I am saying that I actually like Bethenny -- at least in the past 3-4 episodes. I had seen her in other shows and went in with a preconceived dislike of her. She's abrasive, intense and has a trash mouth but she's also witty and kind of funny in her THs.

I also had preconceived notions about Carole as she was the one I was the most familiar with.  I am fostering a growing dislike of her. She comes across as benign and low-key but has this subtle yet unmistakable air of being a know-it-all. Yet she always seems to skate by. I'd really like for her to speak her scathing TH comments to the face and not in a passive-aggressive manner. 

Ramona has been covered and I agree with most of what everybody else has said.  Having no prior knowledge about her, she appears as needy and desperate and whatever she's done to her face, hair and body aren't sufficing to make her look any younger. She also seems kind of dim-witted.  "I avoid the press like a lee?" WTF?

I like Tinsley better now that she's finally growing a spine and standing up for herself; she just doesn't know when to hold and when to fold. I certainly don't expect her to "get over" a very public DV situation and subsequent arrest, OTOH, who gives a flying f if she's considered an "ungrateful house guest." Her toddler tantrums were embarrassing combined with her ugly wardrobe and outdated makeup. (I can give her a pass on the hair. It's not that terrible and those beachy waves are still very popular across all age groups.) I am actually surprised that she's still seeing "Coupon King" and actually works for him.

I still love me some Dorinda. I mean, who wouldn't after, "CLIP! CLIP! CLIP!"  For me, that's right up there with Luann falling down drunk.

I'm going to be really sorry to see the season end.

The dysfunction runs deep with these women. But anyone who signs up for a HW role has to be dysfunctional at their core, imo. It's a prerequisite for the job. And what makes them interesting to watch. Trainwrecks, all of 'em.

It's sad, but I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for them. How can they watch themselves on TV, year after year, and not think, "Damn, this is messed up." But they sign up again, only the next year they've lost their husbands or jobs or their children will no longer talk to them.  Or they continue being loud obnoxious drunks and lose their respectability. And for what?  Some money and an occasional mention on Page Six. I was going to say that at least they get some nice trips out of it. But I agree with you - how enjoyable can a trip really be if you're going with people you don't even particularly like?

To be fair, we only see a small sliver of their lives.  I'm sure they all have solid, healthy relationships with friends and family.  They are paid to entertain us.  It's a television show.
