Not to be mean but I think Joy is much cuter than Kendra.  Joy doesn't have that big round face.

according to the article, where I got the pix from, there is reason for the face.. Now again, the article could be a rumor...

It's going to be even worse when all these intermarrying families' kids grow up and are trying to find non relative spouses.

I doubt that's much of a problem to these types...

Wait.  She'll get all femine and be sporting a lollipop head soon enough.

She's an outsider and may not go starvation diet for this wedding. Even if she does, she be pregnant within 3 months of the wedding, anyway.

Now I really want to know what a trendy boob looks like!

I think Nurie, Jill R's daughter might be trying to get her boobs trending in her latest pics.

Apparently, Lily and Ellie were clearing their caches and discovered these pics of Kendra on a missioncation with Boob and the five oldest Duggar daughters back in 2013. So, even though the Duggars have only attended the Caldwell's church since Joshgate, they've known each other much longer. It looks like we have another Joy/Austin situation going on here; I imagine Kendra was Joy's bestie when Carlin Bates wasn't around.

(I hate linking directly to them, but there are a lot of pictures!)

Nothing in over a month? These two are so exciting....

The publicity now is focusing on Joy's wedding.  After that and Jill's birthing, Kendra will be in the limelight.

It was FJ's second JoKen thread, but it was started almost a week after this one. So score one for us!

I did steal JoKen, since when I think of them, I think you gotta be jokin'!

These two are so very boring that I am forever forgetting they exist.

The Duggar boys all have the personality of a fly, in fact, a fly has more than they do. Dull, boring, dimwitted, smug. Blah

Former Huckabee lackey and Duggar sycophant from the Joshgate era, Chad Gallagher, has set up a domain for a future website for Joe and Kendra. Or KendraandJoseph. I guess we'll know something's really up when the site goes live.

Yeah, I'm sure Joe and Kendra are so busy that they don't have time to register for their own domain name. Yeeesh. The thought of these two needing a business/PR staff. Ridiculous.

I suppose it's for the sake of "privacy" but, really, who are we kidding?

I used to joke to a friend of mine that if she ever got rich & famous, I was going to buy (her name).com & .org, make them porn pages and make her pay me huge sums of money if she wanted them. She'd joke that she'd do the same with me. (Then we discovered someone with the same name as me already has mine, and it's some dodgy self-help website).

Maybe they're trying to get the jump on people doing stuff like that, especially with the lawsuit happening. I wonder if sites have been reserved in other Duggar and Duggar-adjacent people names.

Oh,I agree.  I have no problem with their doing it. It makes perfect sense. (although they probably should have gotten .org, net and maybe a couple of others if they really wanted to prevent porn sites). I'e bought my domains (not to stop porn, obviously, but for use), but even as an elderly person I was perfectly capable of buying them myself. It's easy. And a couple of teens/20-somethings have to hire it done? They can't have their own names in the WHOIS?

It's the idea that these unprepared-for-life children are being further indoctrinated into the illusion that they're going to have a business staff who'll be navigating things for them. What will they do when the family circus train halts and they have to take initiative to learn to do things on their own? (other than memorize bible verses, that is.) It's just absurd to me that their parents encourage them to use staff for simple stuff and don't encourage them to take initiative on stuff that concerns them. And especially absurd, to me, for people who are soon to start popping out a bunch of children in a one earner family. Initiative and some knowledge will be needed. And it's not clear to me how long staff will be available!

And on to the next! The wedding train shows no signs of slowing. I suppose the Duggars are out of marriageable daughters unless things turn around for Jana or they become even more desperate and decide to have twelve year olds start to court, so now they turn to the sons. Well, they've got to bring in the cash somehow if they continue to have no plans to do actual work, except if you count famewhoring as a profession.

Not that anyone gives a damn about Duggar sons' courtships, but  it's shady as hell to steal the spotlight by proposing at your sister's wedding!

Yeah, etiquette dictates that you don't propose at someone else's wedding, but at the very least, if you feel like you absolutely must, the bride and groom should be asked and give their okay.

I shouldn't be surprised. Duggar etiquette is completely different and they thrive on weddings and births (not marriages and children, there's a difference) so why wouldn't Joe propose at his sister's wedding?

JB is wasting no time actually marrying his kids off. At least it's not another daughter? Is a male Duggar wedding still somewhat novel?

Getting engaged at someone's wedding is beyond tacky. I have no words. I mean Joe couldn't have waited to give Kendra whatever crap .10 carat solitaire he grifted from White's? They are just awful.

At this point, all these weddings are business deals. They are marrying off the available kids to the highest bidder and getting out as many weddings and babies to avoid cancelation.

I feel sorry for Kendra, shes just a dumb kid and her father has sold her of to Jim Bob for his 15 minutes of fame.

Getting engaged at someone's wedding is tacky, but the Duggars like to claim they do things "a little different".  The rules of etiquette for us heathens don't apply to them.

I assumed an engagement was to be announced soon since there's a new season of CO coming up.  But damn.  Proposing at your sister's wedding is atrociously in bad taste.  As others have said, I do have to keep in mind that Duggar manners are not the same as normal people's manners.  But to take attention away from a sister on her wedding day (which she has probably been dreaming of since first grade)?  How heartless .

These people never celebrate individual events like job promotions, or personal accomplishments, or graduations (from actual schools), so engagements, weddings and pregnancies are all they have. So it's pretty lame of Joe to pull this stunt at one of the few times Joy is being celebrated individually, along with what's his name.

Thank you! If that was my brother I would have beat his ass with my bouquet. Btw....future Duggar in law looks just like his sisters- awkward

They must be raking it in with all the people exclusives.

Side hugs galore!

They all follow the same formula.

I'm expecting Josiah and the twins next!

Maybe it's just this picture, but my first reaction was that they are a spectacularly unattractive couple.  I know that's shallow and my perception is most likely clouded by the fact that this is clearly an arranged marriage.

They planned their outfits.  Joe's tie matches her dress.  That girl is going to look old before her time.

I think those are the groomsmen and bridesmaids outfits

Seriously my jaw just dropped. They officially started courting in March.  Conveniently right after she turned 18.       Free Jinger suspected a courtship while she was 17. (If true they waited to announce, because of Josiah's cancelled courtship and because Joseph is 22.)

In Catholicism (also known as heathenism), we stress the importance of really taking the time to get to someone before getting married. Of course we also tend to stress maturity at least in my neck of the woods.

The courtship announcement was made March 7 this year. That's less than 3 months.     (None of the courtship has been on tv yet either.)

The color of the dress is a nice touch, as it reminds me of both Kate Middleton (right after she got engaged to Will) and the Virgin Mary.

In the good ole days, the Duggars are trying to bring back, people would be saying "Why the rush?"

Call me cynical but I think that Boob probably planned it this way.  There is almost zero interest in the Joe-Kendra courtship, only the most ardent of leghumpers actually give a damn so People et al wouldn't be throwing the cash at an exclusive for that.

By having it at Joy's wedding, Boob can flog off TWO super special, new season of life events in one tragic hit.  Neither would get attention individually but he was probably betting that People would be more interested in them together.  Coinciding two big announcements could be his way of trying to make the Duggars trend in the news again.

If you have a look at the People website, most popular is "Engagement at a wedding!".  Hugely tacky to us, $$$$ for Boob.

How many siblings does Kendra have?

6, Lauren, Micah,  Nathan, Timothy, Olivia, and Jesiah, she's the oldest.

As for Joe proposing at Joy's wedding, I doubt it was his idea or that he had a choice. It needed to be done before the new season started and the cameras were already there for the wedding, so it was pop the question or else time.
