He is such a weird guy.  Aside from his religion...he just has an odd way of thinking and writing such wacky things.

Not to mention, those pics weren't of Jubilee. At the time, we figured out that they were stock images. Jubilee died about a week before Mechelle even went in for her 17 week u/s, then delivered a few days after that. The body would have been far more decomposed than those pictures of perfectly formed hands and feet with perfect skin. 

Bottom line, that makes Derick just that much more delusional. I know they're pushing their pro-life agenda, but that foot post was beyond strange. But then again, most of his posts after Jill's "breakdown" post indicate that he, too, had some sort of a breakdown. And I don't think all the pro-life stuff had to do with Jubilee, but with a loss of their own that they can't talk about until TLC gives them permission....and a check.

I agree...and if he's going to talk about the feet, he ought to do it in a longer blog post where he gives his whole perspective on his pro-life views. It could be done, and I bet Jeremy could do it eloquently.

Not really. I wouldn't recommend a color photo by any  means but a slightly blurry black & white picture of hands and feet would look fine. I have no problem believing those aren't pictures of Jubilee, but it's not unlikely that they are. (I'm a pathologists' assistant so I see fetuses fairly often.)

Wouldn't surprise me. Hospitals provide memory boxes for stillbirths/late miscarriages all the time, and many include pictures.  I'm sure plenty of enterprising anti-choicers saw an opportunity to make a political point and made their pictures available.

Your post reminded me of FJ posters mentioning that most of these memory photos were done in b/w. Seeing the 17 weekers, I can see why. 

I also realized that they set the PP presentation as if they were in DA for two years. Uhm, they spent less than four months of 2015, 8ish in 2016. Maybe a year, combined. And who knows whether they're going back? Derick obviously put this together for the Cross Church Latino party last night. Did he put this together during his public week of insanity, thinking they might go back someday now that Jill miscarried (speculation!), or if was a tribute to the worthless months they spent there, with absolutely no intention of going back if Jill was really pregnant. 

With these nutcases, it's anyone's guess.

No, I bet they are like the ridiculous church my husband grew up in (and ditched as soon as he could). If someone dies, you are supposed to be thrilled that they've gone to heaven. When my BIL died (young, from cancer), the funeral was infuriating. It was like we weren't supposed to grieve. How selfish to miss him when after all, he is in heaven now. Actually, it was Derick talking about his mother.  Cathy was adopted.  Michelle is the one who now has custody of a nephew, or great nephew, however that works out.

But the point is well taken that these idiots are always talking about adoption.  I always think of it as a publicity stunt, and none of them actually want to adopt.
