She seems to be the only spouse that goes along; I'm sure he's not the only guide/instructor/adult/chaperone sent to watch over those college students. No one else brings along their whole family. It has to cost them a pretty penny to do so. Part of me thinks it's because Jill is NOT capable of living on her own with her two children. She has to have another adult with her and none of her sisters want to babysit HER. I also think it may be part of their upbringing that spouses should NOT be separated if at all possible. So, the CC Mission Manual may or not have been posted online and I think part of the reason Jilly goes may be directed related to page 7... "It is worth pointing out that in most cases, The more participants a team has, the lower each individual’s cost will be. So inviting several of your friends to go on the mission journey with you not only encourages them to be a part of this life changing experience with you, it also can lower your cost!" 10 Link to comment

I think apart from having obvious issues, deep down she is afraid that he would stray and I sincerely believe that he would - afterwards he would feel guilt and shame and anger and probably unleash a tirade on Twitter, but stray he would. He wants to be footloose and fancy free, drift through life without working. Has anyone seen Pickles latest diatribe about why she bans people? That woman is SERIOUSLY unhinged. She keeps claiming that Jazz hasn't seen her message probably. Wake up bitch, yes she has, she's simply not interested. They both (especially Derelict) look like they haven’t even learned how to REALLY kiss, despite being married for several years. Makes me wonder how they figured out how to conceive two kids! (I can’t decide if I’m even serious or joking about that part!) What kind of Mom forgets to pack their son’s gloves or doesn’t grab a replacement pair upon landing? Bayarea4 April 6, 2018 Share April 6, 2018 I came across this on a show business gossip blog: Quote Since no one asked, there is trouble in Duggarland. The dim-witted SIL, Derick, is attacking TLC and Jazz (he has a thing for attacking children, like the Parkland survivors.) We all know this. TLC cut him and his wife/holy servant out of the show for it, but Dim Derick persists to this day. Some are saying that Dim Derick is doing this in an attempt to get more money out of a)supporters who he is leaching for his religious tourism b) to please JimBob who holds all of Jill's money in an LLC. In fact, the rumor is that JimBob controls all the funds the girls made by "writing" their book and the proceeds from their current show, doling out the money to their headship (husbands) as he sees fit. Derick is actually angry about this arrangement and is blaming TLC for it, as they create the contracts for JimBob's control, but dare not blame JimBob for this weird financial arrangement. Interesting, if true. 4 Link to comment

Yeah, it only saves money if you're splitting the bill amongst strangers, like if you get 12 single people for your singleton friend's restaurant dinner party, as opposed to a default of four, which would mean each individual member in the group paid more. Cost x2 for people who share a bank account, isn't any kind of savings. 9 Link to comment

I'm not a mother, but I saw that ridiculous bib (and other "baby" items) thought the same exact thing! "This time he said he wanted blue cake, with blue icing and blue sprinkles..." So if Israel specifically asked for a blue cake, why is his cake green? That's not the same as a "blue cake, blue icing and blue sprinkles." I also don't see any sprinkles, but maybe they're hard to see on top of the frosting? Or, Derelict thought sprinkles weren't "for boys", so they were nixed. Poor kid. Anyone else feel like sending Jill a copy of Sesame Street episodes with the "One of these things is not like the other" segments? Too bad Sesame Street is banned in their house because it's way more educational than any of the crap that is learned at Jill's eventual SOTDRT. I just realized (I know, I know) how incredibly isolated so many of these kids are, especially after seeing the photos of the Dullard boys. I wonder if Israel has any play dates or has any other friends who aren't Spurgeon, Sam or the Dullards? In an odd way, I'm seriously shocked and sad that some young wealthy Fundie mom (can "wealthy" and "fundie" even be used in the same sentence?) hasn't created a Mommy & Me class or some other type of pre-school fellowship group (hahaha!) that is designed for each developmental age group to encourage (drinking game word - take a shot!) the little ones to fellowship. I guess there's a part of me that hopes that a young Fundie mom or three know(s) "what's out in the real world" and that they would somehow try to raise their own kiddos as fundies, but also provide options that they never had the option of participating in for both the kids and other "modern moms in their world. " The kids & moms would be able to fellowship (drink!) while still providing some much needed brain stimulation for everyone. They could rotate hosts and have their own version of Mommy & Me or group play dates that incorporate singing songs, coloring, crafts or even participating in athletic activities like jumping on a trampoline. I evaluate many kids who are Israel's age (late 2/early 3) who have either come from early intervention or have not passed their screenings to be considered for early childhood services within the public school system. It's very common for kiddos to drink from sippy cups at this age. I do have to agree on the high chair though, especially for a child of Israel's height, which I am presuming is taller than the average same-aged peer. We have had plenty of kids who could sit in a child-sized version of a regular chair. Israel should be graduating to a booster seat. 7 Link to comment

I fed babies 3 & 4 in infant seats until they could sit unassisted, then they both used booster seats attached to DR chairs with a tray. So easy and portable! He’s 3, Jill.
