Temperance September 13, 2017 Share September 13, 2017 That announcement reminds me of everything I've heard negative about Pinterest. "Too much Pinterest" "I like Pinterest but not all of it at once." "That's a lot of Pinterest" "We're gonna need a bigger board." "Everything is Pinterest today with you kids." I will say the execution is good and it looks good. Just too much! 1 Link to comment

Mountainair September 13, 2017 Share September 13, 2017 Oh no! My five year old is a Mason! We named him after our beloved dog Macy who was tragically struck by a car the day we found it we were having a boy. Later I found Out it was one of the most popular names that year! Any how, best of luck to little baby Mason. He's got one hell of a shit show to deal with! 10 Link to comment

allonsyalice September 13, 2017 Share September 13, 2017 Mason Garrett is a sweet name, and the baby looks cute. (I knew a Mason in high school. His family owned a Tim Hortons. It was ridiculous.) According to a quick google, Mason is #4!! for baby boy names this year so far. Garrett apparently peaked in the 1990s, and doesn't seem to be on this years list, at least not in the top 100. I like the name, and I hope that mom and baby are recovering. 4 Link to comment

I think Michelle would pretend to be thrilled that a grandbaby had the same birthday, but would be seething on the inside about having to share her special day with someone. Grandbaby would take the focus off her and she must be the center of attention on her birthday. Thus another strike against Anna had Mason been born on the 13th. 21 Link to comment

Sew Sumi September 13, 2017 Share September 13, 2017 So, Mason has had more exposure in the first day of his life (based on his 1:20 birth time, even am works, since those Keller girls seem to be able to get right back up and out pick cotton, so to speak; Prissy and Esther are also broodmares) than Mere had in her first year. YMMV You're not wrong. I agree that a truly good mom would've left her no-good husband and gotten the hell out by now instead of going for baby #5. However, the other four kids were born or concieved long before the scandals hit. Perhaps one could say that Anna is a good mom when it comes to the every day care of her children but that she has made som truly terrible choices when it comes to their overall future well-being. Thing is though, I have a feeling that thoughts of her kids well-being played a large part in Anna's decision-making process when she decided to stay with Josh. She has no real education and no work experience at all and she had four young kids she couldn't leave to go out on a job hunt (I have no doubt that Boob hinted very strongly that the Duggar nanny service would dry up in case of a divorce). Both her parents and in-laws were highly unlikely to support her if she decided to leave Josh. It's possible that she considered the practical consequences of divorcing Josh to be worse for her kids than the consequences of her staying with him. Personally I wish she'd taken her brother's offer of help and left, but Anna might have had a hard time imagining a successful life as a single mom of four children. The married women in this cult are essentially trapped once the kids start arriving. As I'm sure is the goal. 42 Link to comment
