I learned so much, skills and work habits that stay with me today, plus back then (way back then), mostly high-schoolers like me worked there and we were all great friends. The McDonalds in our city even had a softball league in the summers, and each week we'd play a different McDonalds crew at diamonds all over the city, lots of times riding our bikes to get there because...well, things were different back then in terms of getting to drive the family vehicle on a weekday afternoon!
