Thanks Sew Sumi. I did scroll back & found the picture you referenced with Ben in it. It still would be nice to see a picture of the wedding party.  Wonder why they haven't shown us one?

Because you haven't paid for it yet.  It's probably in the print version of the magazine.  Gotta get all their money out of these big events.

I wondered the same when i saw the news.

I guess there was another one today? Poor Jinger, probably pretty scary for her as AR doesn't have earthquakes. I know I would probably be nervous! . I wonder if they are taking it as some sort of sign haha.

I also hope Jinge and Babe are okay from the earthquake.  Thank heavens it wasn't Jill in that situation.  She's so emotionally fragile that she took cover because of a fallen shower curtain.  Who knows what an earthquake would do to her.

Jinge was a gorgeous bride.  Jessa was pretty but Jinge was stunning.

I have taken to mooing,"Baaaaabe" at Mr. Angeltoes.  He has no idea what it means and he wants it to stop.

I'm really hoping it's just the camera angle or the way her dress is laying but it sure looks like leggings peaking out.  I do give her points for wearing pumps & not those gladiator type sandals she favors.

The US Navy is using ships and helicopters to rescue 1000 US tourists and citizens out of New Zealand.  What a honeymoon story!

I hope Jinger's world was rocked but not in an earthquake sort of way! ;-)

Here's a video of the newlyweds from Australia. Hmmm, Babe seems kinda subdued, certainly not full of smiles and light in his eyes. Notice too that Jing is clinging to his arm, but he's not touching her. Kinda weird given how lustful they were in all pre-wedding stuff.

There's another honeymoon video floating around of them standing  outside thanking everyone for their well wishes.  Babe is subdued in that one as well. I hope they do enjoy the local customs & cuisine, unlike Boob. Shrimp on the barbie sounds really good about now (dinner time.)

Australia is mainly full of white British people. They only let Southern Europeans migrate after WWII. The place is 90% European. I don't know what they expect to find.

She's going to blow Jill's level of clingyness out of the water.

He is just beginning to understand the downside of adoration. Would he, as her headship, be able to help her adjust to a life as a 'normal' housewife: shop on her own, make her own friends, find her own hobby.  If not, he just got him self an expensive and demanding pet.

And they've been married TWO DAYS

Why do people post pictures and then pull them down?  There was a no photography rule, wasn't there? So people ignored the rule, took pictures, posted them on social media and then got a nasty call from Jim Bob?

Clearly photos of Jinger's wedding are worth money. The TLC cameras were there.  Duh. You would think friends of the Duggars would realize that and not post. It's just so obvious.

TLC has never filmed the after parties, so no moratorium there.

I guess I'll give them credit for not immediately releasing photos/videos of themselves kissing. Jeremy strikes me as a no-nonsense guy - he's filled with the gravity of his own self-importance. I think he is in love with Jinger, but he seems like he may believe in decorum and is probably uptight.

Poor Jeremy, haha. I wonder if Jinger's level of lust blows his out of the water...totally not trying to be nasty, but he has done physical things before, and she hasn't. Maybe he never expected this from a meek fundie wife, since they always make it sound like such a chore for the woman, and he wasn't prepared for the level of energy required for the honeymoon...hehe...

As long as he doesn't blame anything he can't immediately handle on Satan, then GO JINGER. They have their whole lives to figure out what works for them. I honestly don't think virginity/inexperience on either side is a bad thing. You have to start somewhere, married or not, so overall I don't think a lot of experience or zero experience should be put on a pedestal.

I don't know why, but for myself personally, I feel much more like I'm intruding on their privacy than I did with Jill and Jessa. I get that they're posting pictures and filming clips, but somehow I feel like TMI this time, and like I should turn away.

Not sure if I'm getting across what I mean ...

They looked like they dragged themselves out of bed to make the video.

Maybe because Jinger looks 11-12 years old max

I agree, and I think it's because chemistry wise, they seem like a normal couple. Derrick and Jill didn't film their honeymoon, and Jessa and Ben were so awkward that they probably wanted the film crew there. Neither had ever been alone with one person, like, ever, so i could see the film crew being like a lifeline to Jessa, taking away some of the awkwardness. Plus, a lot of it seemed staged, and for show, like, "LOOK AT OUR ROMANCE!!! This is what you get when you wait until marriage!" Jinger's video seems more like a real couple having some alone time, which makes it uncomfortable.

You guys have got some pretty good Asian food if you look hard. ...........I don't know what Jeremy will find that's different, being from civilization and all, But Jinger grew up in the TTH. If it's not beans out of the can and frozen lasagna, she may find it exotic and exciting. Give that girl a Pavlova. And some flake fish and chips.

Does anybody else think this may just be Jeremy's normal affect? It reminds me of the way his sermonizing strikes me. Just talking kinda slowly in that sort of soft and hollow voice, not much emphasis, no apparent verve.

Opera schmopera. Very ungodly, those operas.

So I watched my first episode of Counting On tonight -- the Courting Jinger episode. I have to say, after reading so much about how creepy Jeremy was, I was surprised by what I saw. I know this will be an unpopular opinion but I saw less of this...

And more of this...

I have to agree with you.  I never saw Jeremy in any kind of sinister, creepy light.  I think he is a little backwards with a lot of things, and maybe isn't as experienced as his pro soccer career may leave us to believe.   But regardless he is now forever hitched to Cringe, a blossoming stage 42 clinger.  That's gotta be one heckova wake up call.  What was sweet in small doses is now his daily reality...

I wonder...do they have a "covenant marriage" like Jill and Derek?  How hard will it be for Jer to run the first time the inlaws pop in for a visit...all 18 of them?

Yes! I think that is exactly it.  There is something slow, soft, yet overly emphatic about his affect, and I think you may have hit the nail on the head.

They do seem really tired, understandably.  And boy, do these people have *nothing* to say!!

TLC must have opened their wallets! It's the last chance to save $24 million of advertising for the shows that sit in a can somewhere.

Remember the good old days when people could get married without elaborate floral backdrops, "escort cards", things written on chalkboards and burlap table runners? Ahhh, those were the days!

I'm surprised I'm not feeling the love on the Counting On FB page - very critical comments there with regards to the video.

I'm giving them a pass on looking tired, they must be very exhausted after a wedding, travel, more travel, jetlag. To say nothing of the emotional rollercoaster.

However, PLEASE stop that death grip, WHAT is up with that? All them fundie wimmins seem to do this. Are you that afraid your husband will run away?? I'm not even mentioning those creepy stares - shades of Bridget Jones indeed.

Her wedding does seem nice, the classiest by far. Good for her.

Now Jeremy will see the reality of being married to a Duggar and he may not like it. I still hope it will work out for Jinger, who seems so very fragile.

Edit, and I simply must bitch, the pickled one is on par as far as emotional maturity goes, bursting with pride because some hideous rag quoted he page. Cue leghumpers crooning that if one wants proper sources, they should go to her hate page. Yeah right, because she isn't at all dependent on people telling HER stuff....

That's a bit more dramatic than what I'd imagined also.  Someone poured a lot more money into this wedding than any of the previous ones.

Anything to save the show. ANYTHING.

Do we have a pregnancy pool yet? Because I'm thinking she's pregnant right now.

I didn't watch any video but that picture of the floral V?  Looks like a mess to me. I hope it looked better in real life. And I had nice things to say about her wedding in general but that comes off as "showy offy" to me. Or tacky.  Maybe showy offy and tacky?

Maybe I'm not on Pinterest enough to appreciate the full impact of the letter  V  in flowers.

Of course TLC poured their money into this wedding because she married the world famous soccer player that nobody ever heard of.
