Hi Jeremy it’s nice to know you take time out of your very busy day to read our comments and opinions!!!

I was also gonna say it was Jessa (but Jeremy fits the bill)

Just wow.  I can only imagine that those who haven't lost a parent are unaware how treasured, desired and blessed having concrete, written memories of that parent can be when you're older.

The flight logs, postcards, letters and other memorabilia I have that contain my dad's crazy, lefty backhand writing are unbelievably precious because they were written by him, but to me.

He died almost 6 years ago, and I would give ANYTHING to have just one more birthday card with his scrawl on it.

Just when I think these threads can't still surprise me, I'm proved SO, SO wrong.  I really have stayed too long at this party.

I have a letter written to me by my dad when I was 2 years old.  He is telling me good -bye and that he will not be with me for Christmas or my next birthday (he was called to active duty in Korea ).  He came home again, and died in his sleep at the age of 95.  But I treasure that letter, and all the travel postcards and notes I have from him over the years.  I think what Jeremy is doing is very touching.  Without reading them, we really don't know what he is writing in that journal to his daughters, but whatever it is, it is to each one personally in his writing.

I'm all for journaling however one wants to do it.   The sharing it with friends and also posting it on SM is a bit too much.  I'd think those are writings he may want to keep private in the family.

I agree.  Posting it on SM takes away the very personal matter of writing to one's children and it becomes a humblebrag.  And if Jeremy starts journaling too, I'd see it as insincere because I am so jaded by him at this point.

He was journaling already. He posted it a few times. Fancy journal with a fancy pen 🙄🙄🙄.

I don't think Caleb Cunningham cranking out a page a day to two daughters is in the same universe as those things you treasure.  Ten years would yield 3,650 pages for each girl to wade through.  It is extremely hard to imagine that he can find that many meaningful thoughts that are not repetitive.  It sounds like a showy stunt he can get attention for and not for expressing anything authentic and meaningful.

Not only will the length be daunting, but it's also possible his daughters will not be able to read cursive very well or at all.  I teach first year college students, and I've switched to printing to make sure everyone understands.

The only way that could be a good thing if for some reason dad dies young.  Even then, the girls won't find anything of value until they have matured enough to understand.  He could also get the same result writing one letter to each girl for her birthday.  No need to write every. single. day.

If these girls grow up with a good relationship with their dad then I have no doubt his letters to them will be a precious keepsake after his passing, regardless of when that happens. I have no doubt the letters are filled with references to Jesus but that is their family culture.

This was my take exactly. It’s something that sounds nice in the abstract -  daddy writing letters of love to his girls. In reality it’s just a way for him to blather on and make a big show of himself. Patriarchy is alive and well!

Exactly! His journal:

“Me me me me me me…” They’ll remember you spending time with them.

Reddit Posted a quick clip from the video where Jeremy is reading a comment  about their highly polished fake responses. It was hilarious. He actually says the words BS!

And because I’m a terrible horrible snarky person, he’s aged about 20 years in the past month.

The funniest part is you could practically hear the crickets in Jinger's head as Jeremy was reading it. She had no clue it was a criticism until Jeremy responded.

Maybe Jinger tunes out because Jeremy overtalks and doesn't care about her opinions anyways, but she comes across as so empty.

Way to kill a meme there Jeremy.  I haven't the foggiest as to what they are lampooning here.  Are those acronyms for different Protestant seminaries? If so, isn't The Masters Seminary more like Wes Anderson here and not Bill Murray.  The joke is Bill is the lazy slacker of the group, not the most pretentious.

Have they ever been shown, even once, donating their time and/or money to the needy of LA? Because they are many of those! Just once or twice would change their whole image.

No.

Just like Jill Rodrigues they take take and take some more.

That is an excellent point.  Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were delivering meals in LA last year, after Covid started.  RFP and Helpmeet?  Nothing doing.

I watched that video of Jing and Jer...once again, Jinger barely speaks...Jeremy asks Jinger what she wants for the future...to answer one of the questions herself, then he preceded to answer and Jinger hardly said anything. When she did, she repeated what Jeremy said. That girl has a blank mind and was trained for her husband to 'fill it for her' daily.

And he was the one who addressed homefooling. I think he knows Jinger is not capable.

Wasn't Jinger on Tik Tok a few months ago and then stopped posting after she got relentlessly skewered in the comments? I don't use Tik Tok, but I remember someone posting about it on here at the time?

Eagan's body language says, mom made me come here, but I'm not going to like it.

He totally looks like he's giving them all the finger in his mind's eye.

I wonder if Eagan gave permission for his name and picture to be posted.  That is not a very positive picture.

If he wasn't giving them the finger mentally at the time, he probably is now.
