Or else he's "taking it' but has just been told that, unlike everybody else, he just shouldn't worry about tests, papers, class discussions, preaching and pastoring practicums, etc. .... wink wink nudge nudge

Maybe his "job" is just to be there, seem to be a student like the rest but actually spend his time and energy showing people on social media, on TeeVee and on visits elsewhere what an amazing, wonderful life students at The Master's Seminary have. Make it look like such a fabulous and enticing place to be that guys will be beating down the doors to get in .... so their reputation rises to the skies to the point that nobody, including accrediting agencies, can deny it ....

....or something.

Yep, sounds completely implausible to me, too. But almost all of my closest friends and family have graduate and/or professional degrees that I've watched them obtain.....And being a full-time student seemed to fill up most of the time for everybody. Not a lot of going out to dinner or whatever.

I'd like to see what the lives of his classmates are like......

I suppose it's possible that -- just as many seminaries dropped the biblical-language requirements in recent years -- at some point TMS just gave up trying to make big demands on their students.

Maybe they just figure being in the atmosphere of the institution and being around fellow students and faculty all the time -- all men with exactly the right theology -- provides enough learning.......So it's a kind of Calvinist seminary party school for everybody .... (not very Puritan of them, if that's the case ... but who knows?)

ETA: Here's a blog post from a guy who got the degree Jer's getting in 2017. You may laugh.

https://www.redeemingproductivity.com/10-tips-to-dominate-seminary/

"10 Tips for Success in the Seminary" -- Some quotes --

"Seminary is hard. That’s a fact. It’s a big investment of time and money, so it pays to make sure you are doing all you can to have success in seminary.

"With the right mindset and the right tools, the workload can be made more manageable. It is crucial that as seminary students we practice good study habits now so that we will be prepared for a lifetime of diligent and productive study of God’s Word."   Uh-huh.

"Without neglecting the spiritual, much of our success in studies depends on our ability to manage our time well. The course load is heavy." Yeah, right.

"Is a heavy class load causing you to struggle to provide for your family? Are you failing to keep up with personal devotional time? Do you have to say “no” to ministry involvement in your local church because you’re too busy learning about how to minister in a local church?

"See the irony?

"Well, there’s a simple solution to that. Lighten your class load. You can take seminary slower. You say, “But I’ll have to pay more per credit if I’m not full time!” True, but the alternative may be much more expensive spiritually. There is no virtue in rushing through seminary if the price tag is neglect of God, family, and church life." Worried about both time and money they are. I think Jeremy needs to blog for them, because he seems to have a much better handle on how to this without stress.

"Get Over Yourself" (my favorite tip)

"If Paul considered himself nothing, don’t consider yourself something. Don’t think that your school is lucky to have you at their institution.

"There is nothing more disgusting than an arrogant servant, the term is almost oxymoronic. Yet so many pastors are filled with an appalling level of hubris. How terrible if academically you are a success in seminary, but spiritually you come out a failure.

"Get it out of your system now.

"You will wreak havoc in ministry if you don’t. If you view seminary as the stepping stone to construct your tiny kingdom. Watch out. Better yet, get out! Do you really think the church of the King of Kings is the anvil upon which you will forge your empire?"

That "advice" is gold! And the "get over yourself" part is Jeremy in a nutshell. Especially the part about hubris.

Noticed this on jing’s IG today- what is fromthegiftshoppe.com?  I’m not going to give them hits and check out the site.  “For business inquiries”. Nice.

It won’t let me insert the screenshot.

When you put that in Google, you pull up a "Private Site." Says "This site is currently private. If you're the owner or contributor, log in."  Don't know what it'd mean to post a url like that on your social media.....Maybe that your post was mainly directed to the owner or another member of that site?

Well, good news for RFP...he’s already well on his way to failing in both!

Yet I'd bet heavily that he'll keep on doing just what he's doing now. And have the degree handed to him wrapped with a big fat bow  earn the degree pretty quickly -- like, by May 2021. And have been handed  landed a job by then as well. Your wife's family's fame can get you a long way!  I hope he at least says "thank you" to Jingle.

When I looked it up yesterday a standard florist and gift shop came up.

Well, it's probably part of Jeremy's PR plan. Jinger wears shorts, someone gets a photo and everyone's talking about it.

I dunno though, if there was a plan, don't you think she'd have avoided sitting in something while the plan was being essayed?  I spy a quarter-sized dark spot/stain on the right buttock...

That appears to be the shadowed inside space of the letter "D" in the RADAR ONLINE watermark of the photo.

I think their plan is still intact.

Yeah, I noticed that too. On the photo on her instagram. Kind of oval shaped, brownish....looks to be some kind of grease spot. When you view the photo on Instagram itself on a computer monitor, it seems pretty obvious it's a recent food stain she's unaware of..... Probably unknowingly sat on a small hunk of Felicity's breakfast. Or Jer's..... Occupational hazard of chauffering little kids (and others) who are drinking and eating stuff.....

Definitely the D from radar online.

You can see A & R to the right of what I’ve circled.68287092-9020-45CB-9FA0-87B677AA2389.jpeg.71fd87688bbe2e49c61861cac31de43e.jpeg

Yep, you're right. And I've thought it was a stain all this time -- Probably shows something about my level of neatness.....That seemed perfectly normal to me!

I don't want to go back, but I am pretty sure a pic of the Prop was labeled in Santa Clarita. I hope someone can confirm before I am forced to comb their IG pages (,please no).

I know they had at least one or two that they took at the college in Santa Clarita.

Oh, Jeremy is getting worse.  That look does not become him either.

Aspyn Brown, a daughter from Sister Wives, actually provides an email address on her IG for influencer inquiries. Businesses must really like the reality tv folks shilling their stuff, although it didn't look like Aspyn didn't do much more than one of those subscription boxes.

J & J seem to put some real effort into being SM Avon ladies.

I need to quickly become famous so I can shill shit in my retirement years for pocket money.

Is it just me or does he look a little uncomfortable in that outfit?

....I guess it's mostly that when I see a jacket pull and wrinkle that much when somebody bends a couple inches it makes me uncomfortable....makes me want to yank my sleeves down and unbutton my own jacket or shirt if I'm wearing a buttoned one......

Me too. The shoulder/arm area is making me squirm as well. It looks as if he wouldn't be able to raise his arms above waist level with those tight sleeves. I imagine the shirt sleeves are a jumbled, wrinkled mess under there too.

I agree. Something just seems off with that picture. I think you & @GeeGolly have nailed the reason.

Not nearly as ineffective an ad as Jessa's recent shilling photograph in the mirror...in the dark...contorted....with whatever was going on with her shoes...and her hair....

Nevertheless, I can see it quietly triggering the thought "Not spending 600 bucks on something that looks that uncomfortable" -- in some people, at least. Despite Felicity contributing her usual adorableness. (She's got the leggings-under-the-dress-look though. For the moment, I'm going to trust that won't become a trend.)
