Almost as if he was mad at Phaedra for not supporting Apollo. Either way, to me, Todd and Kandi both look money hungry, and lacking compassion.

 

Business is business. It's ridiculous that Phaedra kept hammering about Todd not asking Apollo for the money when they were hanging out. Um, why should he? He had an arrangement with Phaedra, not Apollo. As a professional, you'd think that she would learn to separate business from personal shit, but she's such a ridiculous person who can never admit when she's wrong. I loved that Todd once again pulled out paperwork when she tried to come with some bullshit emails.

 

Porsha needs to grow up. There's no excuse for being 35 years old and still getting into physical altercations unless it's in self-defense. This is not junior high.

I don't understand why she kept saying Todd should have asked Apollo for the money when the business arrangement was between Phaedra and Todd.  Also, she knew that Apollo did not have thousands of dollars legitimately so how did she think Apollo was going to pay Todd?  If Phaedra was totally clueless about Apollo's illegal activity, how did she think he was paying for his toys and his entertainment?  Whether Todd and Apollo were working on video edits does not have anything to do with the bill.  Apollo worked with contractors on their family home based on what we saw a few seasons ago, but I bet Phaedra paid those bills. 

 

 

Porsha needs to grow up. There's no excuse for being 35 years old and still getting into physical altercations unless it's in self-defense. This is not junior high.

 

If I got into a fight every time I felt like I was disrespected, I would be fighting at least 10-20 hours per week.  I am happy for her that she is taking anger management classes.  She needs to stop reacting to perceived slights.  People will always say shit to get under your skin so they can get some sort of advantage over you.  You have to able to control you at all times.

She got kicked by Cynthia(and if I'm supposed to blame Porsha for the Kenya fight, Cynthia has to take the blame on this one). And then she beat a bitch down in the alley who was talking shit....I...don't...care.  As far as I'm concerned that's only one real fight, and since she looked none the worse for wear, she either handled herself amazingly and all them should watch themselves, or it wasn't that big a deal and shaky cameras make everything look dramatic.

Kandi and Todd are all about the coin and Kandi especially does lacks compassion.  You could tell Phaedra was hurt that Kandi would suspect that she would call the feds on them for harboring Apollo's stuff but Kandi just shrugged and told her, "I did think you called them."  If I was Phaedra I wouldn't sweat Kandi anymore.  She's ride or die money.  She'll ditch Todd in the near future when he fails to get anymore producing jobs and her, Karmon and Don Juan will live happily ever after on all of the money Kandi makes.  She won't even show her baby's face unless she gets paid.  She's a straight up miser.  I can't stand her!

I agree that lack of funds was part of why Phaedra was not eager to pay Todd.  I also think spite was part of it.  Kandi and Todd were too buddy-buddy with Apollo and Phaedra plain old resented it.  She wasn't about to give them any money out of her shrinking bank account, not after the way they wronged her, hmph!  Never mind she knew damn well she owed it.  That's just too bad.

 

I had to laugh at Phaedra claiming all this work (additional editing and "color correction") had to be done on her video and that is why it hasn't been released yet.  She managed to take a jab at Todd's work while simultaneously making an excuse for why her video is nowhere to be seen.   Pull-eeze!   That video is never coming out because nobody wants to market a bullshit exercise video starring a nasty, chubby little reality star and her thieving criminal husband.  You could see Kandi was annoyed when Phaedra claimed the video needed more work.  She knows the truth but she is  t̶o̶o̶ ̶b̶i̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶i̶m̶p̶  too nice to say it.

Now some of the ladies are uncomfortable with Porsha, they just want her off the show.  Keep your feet, your shit talking, your bullhorn and scepter out of her space an there won't be any problems.  Mama Joyce is on her way to 70 and she was ready to throw down in a Bridal shop.  Nobody was asked if she made them uncomfortable.  Porsha got on the vlogs and said that she was going to "beat Cynthia's a$$ when she see's her"  so what, she was still angry at that point.  Cynthia was on the vlogs talking about NeNe when they had their falling out.  All of these ladies have taken it to the junior high level in one way or another.  Instead of attacking Porsha they should be commending her for taking that first step; she's not there yet, but it's not going to happen overnight.

Well that would only further prove that Phaedra is the worst person to do business with.  She specifically dictated to Todd that Apollo was not part of the project and to do business with her only.  Why then would she expect Todd to go against HER wishes and bring Apollo in on the financial side?

 

Bravo should not bring Porsha back for another season.  Three strikes should equal out.  When some of the cast are reluctant to engage her and the rest are on alert to always be prepared to beat her ass then the work atmosphere has become too toxic with her.  Her responses showed that the anger management is not working.

I think Todd really let it slip was the real problem between them was. I really feel like the crux of the falling out between Kandi and Phaedra is basically that Todd and Kandi don't believe that Phaedra is so innocent and was so clueless about Apollo's dirty dealings.

I've never been cool with Porsha and her temper. Even if I accept that Porsha was more likely to throw down with women she doesn't really like, Kenya and Cynthia, but what's her excuse with a woman, Jami, who had been her friend and employee just moments before. Porsha has real problems. If this woman was her friend and employee, Porsha seemingly had many opportunities to address their issues before it came to physical blows.

Also if Nene is providing you with words of wisdom, then you are not on the side of the angels.

I thought it was bullshit the way Nene tried to justify her own violence by saying it didn't count because it wasn't captured on camera.  Violence is violence and if you're guilty of it yourself, who are you to try to judge and chastise someone else for doing it?  She can lose me with that bullshit!

Yeah, Nene didn't expect Porsha to pull that old story (about Nene choking Kim behind a Target store) out of her hat like that, lol.   It was a nice try at a save with the "not on camera" line, but Nene was exposed as a hypocrite and it was clear she has NO room to talk whatsoever.

 

At any rate, I think Porsha needs to go and I mean completely go ... no visits, no showing up for a party, nothing.  She has to.  At this point - with three on camera physical fights under her belt - Bravo can't have her on this type of show anymore.  Conflict and confrontations are practically de rigueur, and she has demonstrated a complete inability to control herself.  She wants to claim people are provoking her ... oh, please.  Other people get provoked, too, but she is the only one I see repeatedly losin' her shit over it.   It's good that she is getting some kind of therapy (probably an attempt to save her peach).  She damn sure needs it.  But that does not guarantee anything about her behavior in the future, and her presence is a liability risk at this point.  It's time for her to say goodbye.

Porsha was fun to watch this season. She has a fun sense of humor so I hope she returns. She's in therapy and proud of her spirituality, that is the real I'd continue watching.

 

I hope Phaedra's divorce is speedy, I'd enjoy watching some dating scenes of hers.

 

The WHO CALLED THE FEDS with tips to check out Kandi and Cynthia's homes for Apollo's assets bugs the hell out of me. So much time discussing who called the feds, instead of voicing disappointment of Apollo's dirty deeds disturbs me. Kandi being pregnant at the time and Cynthia was home alone at the time is irrelevant. TBH all of it is irrelevant.
Was hoping to hear Todd or Peter talk about how they were blindsided by Apollo (as far as friendship goes). No luck there.

 

Todd can take his 'he lived under your roof and you didn't know Phaedra, c'mon ' line and turn it right back to himself. Todd and Peter have to be worried the Feds are looking very closely at their own personal affairs now.. NOT as a result of WHO called the Feds..but because they ARE friends with Apollo/still consider him a friend/ a man deserving of friendships & prison visits. No one should be looking further than Apollo for where to put the blame for any uncomfortable moments the feds caused them. Do Todd and Peter not realize that the admitted fact their friendship club nights were thousands of dollar a night regularly at the clubs, makes you look f'd up on your own, never mind in the company of a repeat felon that openly bragged of his ability to teach others how to fuck people over. When the feds dive in, they go to establishments you paid $ to and ask questions. Since all 3 of them were seen together clubbing regularly, odds are those 3 know where the assets are. Not rocket science. 

 

Cynthia has to know that Peter is capable of hiding assets and dabbling in fraud just as Apollo is. I think she's appeared so exhausted the last 2 seasons because she's been tracking Peter's whereabouts and doings 24/7. She excuses so much crap from Peter it's beyond submissive, it really shows how gullible she is. Not a pretty look for a businesswoman.

 

Peter, whatever he is trying to drink away must reside at ground level, he couldn't look up from the floor.
Was glad Andy asked him how drunk he was and good to see Cynthia's embarrassed eyes over it.

 

When Nene was sharing her opinions with Andy (who redirected her to look at Porsha), I think Nene was meaning in general all the women/and their men on the show bad behavior is bad for business.

 

Matt came off as a jerk. A few times his eye brows went goofy and appeared him and Peter were tracking the same bug on the floor. Your on national TV & being PAID to sit up and look like you enjoy that paycheck. Did the men on the left share drugs tonight? They were obviously 'not with it'. Drastic difference in comparison to Christopher who was direct, polite and 'with it'. 

 

Nene's mocking Kim's comment about expecting more 'class' was over the top.
There she sat in her onesie, rolling her eyes while mocking a very valid comment made by not only Kim this season but NeNe herself many times over when she was declaring herself moving up with more 'class' when she left the show before.

 

Kim and Christopher were what kept me watching this season. I am tired of seeing the same ole same old's with the HW's. We get zero house porn, zero travel porn, zero lifestyles of rich and famous with Atlanta. And with 3 of the 4 men being drunks, frauds and criminals, a BIG BIT OF CLASS is what Atlanta needs!  Kim and Christopher's marriage and family appear REAL. Their marriage appears solid and they uphold each other.

If RHOA doesn't return with Kim and Christopher or a couple with similar character,

then Bravo should just rename the franchise Real Women and the Thugs they support.

What did Phaedra think the emails that she queued up meant? It illustrated Todd's point that all of the emails were between Todd and Phaedra because the excuses she read were all about Apollo being sentenced so she was busy but the issue had been raised before that as Todd illustrated when he came to the meeting and showed Phaedra all the documentation,

My take on pt 3 of the reunion

 

Nene joined the group and no, I didn’t like the outfit at all.  It just seemed just so very wrong for the reunion show.  The asked  her what she thought of Kim being on the show and she gave her honest opinion and her reasons why.  Nene felt that Kim came across too judgmental and standoffish.  Kim attempted to qualify her behavior but the consensus was that she needed to loosen up.  She herself stated that she learned to do other things than just take care of the kids and hubby.

The friendship thing came up again, yada yada yada Kenya was butthurt….yada yada yada..Nene and Cynthia excluded her…yada yada snore…zzzzzz

Todd showed his bitchy side, going after Phaedra and basically calling her out because she didn’t pay him.  Been there, done that, you got paid, move on.  As for who called the cops, it appears the Kandi herself did that deed so……  I also didn’t like how Todd brought up Phaedra’s marriage and why she didn’t know what Apollo was doing.  It is interesting since he also claims not to know what his bestie Apollo was doing and he spent more time with Apollo than Phaedra did towards the end.  Nice look, browbeating a woman while she’s down.  And think.  This is after Phaedra threw a baby shower for Kandi, visited her in the hospital and was with her at Tiny’s baby shower.  Now Kandi has Kenya as ner new bestie.

They all appear to forget that Apollo committed a serious felony and not turning over the items was just plain stupid. 

The Porsha issue.  Yes, she has been in three altercations so let’s do the math
1.  At a time when she was just coming off a volatile divorce which she was blindsided by, she has Kenya not just waving a bullhorn and scepter in her face, but questioned her marital fidelity and then called her a “dumb whore”… and she was just supposed to sit that and take it?  Everybody was on Porsha’s side until they weren’t
2. Cynthia went off on Porsha out of the blue because Porsha called her a bitch; something everyone was calling everyone all day, know it was just in fun.  Porsha was coerced into going over to apologize to Cynthia but Cynthia escalated it, calling Porsha stupid, waving her fingers in her face.  When Porsha returned the favor, Cynthia didn’t like it and Kicked Porsha in the stomach.  She still claims she did nothing violent to Porsha and everyone is now claiming it was Porsha’s violent tendencies that caused this altercation in which PORSHA got hurt
3. No one really know what happened between Porsha and her friend Jaime but of course Porsha’s “violent tendencies” was the cause.

Everyone is now acting like Porsha is a threat to them on the show which I find quite amusing.  She was blatantly accused by Kenya of performing blow jobs and whoring for profit.  This is something I would have jumped over and whipped Kenya's butt for but Porsha just came up with her own retort (which wasn’t no where near as nasty) and moved on.  Porsha has never done anything to Kandi but Kandi and her crew pounced on Porsha and all she did was walk away.  When Don Won’t attacked her at the view party, all she did was give him a retort and walk away.  When she was confronted by Carmon who had no dog in that fight, Porsha again just walked away.  Surely a sign of a violent woman.

However, it was OK for Kandi to want to drag Mal in this bitch at the pajama party, it apparently was forgotten that Porsha grabbed her sister and left to avoid the violence.

Kenya, for someone who is so afraid Porsha will go off at any moment chooses to constantly go after Porsha and try her level best to get Porsha to fight.  Just look at how so very disappointed Kenya was that when Porsha and Cynthia did meet after the boating incident, they simply apologized to each other and moved on.
 

Yeah, Porsha is a very dangerous and vicious thug who is whoring around for money and cars.  Guess she doesn’t really have a steady job outside housewives and at least two and soon to be three successful businesses.

 

Nene was correct in advising Porsha to be wary of anything threatening her brand and that there will be some folks who will just revel in trying to break her. It was also glossed over that Porsha is actually seeking help to keep from getting into fights.  At least until Kim made them realize that at least she is trying to improve herself

 

I just really did not like how they just piled up on Porsha like she was the worse person in the world.  Yet, they just accept Kenya's behavior and don't even question her outright nastiness to just about everyone she doesn't like..

As for the Chrissie situation, I believe that Christopher handled it quite well and finally Andy had enough of the gay shaming which everyone apologized for who were involved….of course except Kenya.  Sheree owned up to hers the very next day and let Kim know what was happening behind her back; Nene apologized the very next moment she saw Kim as did Phaedra.  Porsha apologized off camera directly and on twitter.  Kenya once again tried to qualify her part in it which Andy wasn’t having this time.  He forced her to apologize and Kenya as usual tried to give her usual non-commital response but was shut down for a real apology.  She finally half heartedly gave one but we all know a forced apology is no apology at all.  It was very obvious Andy was sorely pissed with Kenya and the others for trivializing using being gay as some way of dogging someone’s persona.

Nene, I love her to death but she can’t save this mess of a show unless they get Kenya off and return to the original premise of the show.

I laughed at Sheree's "It's not organtic", when Nene mispronounced organic as organtic. I do wish they would they would make Sheree a full time housewife.

 

So much has already been said about Porsha, but I feel like some of the women were trying to rewrite history and acting like Porsha laid her hands on Cynthia when Cynthia kicked Porsha. Porsha has a ton of issues she needs to work on, but I felt in that case up until the kick Cynthia and Porsha were doing what so many housewives do with the screaming, yelling, and getting in one's space. 

 

I think the reason why I like Kim is because she is not like the rest and that she can shut down Kenya. I did not necessarily like everything she did or said, but I did like how she handled Kenya.

Not to mention that Todd cleared that up right away saying that FROM JUMP Phaedra made it clear to Todd that business discuss would go through her and that Apollo wasn't the person to talk to. Todd was VERY clear about that detail and yet all Phaedra could come up with is that maybe Todd should have asked for his money while he was hanging out with Apollo. Also as to the various time frames and gap between requests. Was it just me or did Phaedra not set the tone for the stilted money discussion? Look, it is what it is but Phaedra had no PROFESSIONAL excuse for delaying payment. She should have just said she wasn't feeling like dealing with them cause she was in her feelings and the first thing on her mind wasn't coughing up money to people she felt weren't exactly being supportive friends in her time of need. Shit I woulda respected that a whole lot more than her trying to act like her behavior in this whole mess was A okay and a completely acceptable course of action when conducting business. Chile, please. You were in your feelings and was being spiteful just fucking own it. Geez!

I haven't seen part three yet, but I've seen it mentioned before Kandi not showing pics of Ace unless she's paid and I am confused. She's posted pics of him and video on her Instagram. Was she asked and said no?

Actually if you are on facebook, Kandi has Ace face plastered all over.  She has pictures of just about every relative holding him, She shows him dressed in just about every outfit with pictures

Kandi and Todd are all about the coin and Kandi especially does lacks compassion.  You could tell Phaedra was hurt that Kandi would suspect that she would call the feds on them for harboring Apollo's stuff but Kandi just shrugged and told her, "I did think you called them."  If I was Phaedra I wouldn't sweat Kandi anymore.  She's ride or die money.  She'll ditch Todd in the near future when he fails to get anymore producing jobs and her, Karmon and Don Juan will live happily ever after on all of the money Kandi makes.  She won't even show her baby's face unless she gets paid.  She's a straight up miser.  I can't stand her!

 

But.., isn't being about the coin the accepted and now expected goal of this entire Reality genre?   Isn't this the Kardashian mentality of Branding for doing nothing other than capitalizing on whatever exposure you get from being on television?   I don't think that it is outrageous for Kandi who seems to really be one of the few on this show that has actual operating Enterprises that make money to have the mindset to you know..., make money.  It is not a new concept by any means to get paid for photos of the baby if there is an opportunity to do a photoshoot.

 

I am cynical about ANY supposed "friendships" on any of these Housewife franchises, so whether there is a rift between any particular antagonist/protagonist is something that can and will happen in most cases.  Kandi's and Phaedra's rift is in that season and it may change or may not but Kandi and Todd had the right to pursue their money from Phaedra who continually bragged essentially she had the money to pay if she chose to and decided for her reasons not too..  So I don't think compassion is relevant here.

Not to mention that Todd cleared that up right away saying that FROM JUMP Phaedra made it clear to Todd that business discuss would go through her and that Apollo wasn't the person to talk to. Todd was VERY clear about that detail and yet all Phaedra could come up with is that maybe Todd should have asked for his money while he was hanging out with Apollo. Its 2016 and according to Phaedra's receipts, they asked for the money in June 2014.  I don't understand her issue.  I bet the mortgage for that new house and the loan for those new cars were paid on time.

That was an excellent look for her brand.  She should have waited for the cameras to catch up with her so she could show how versatile her weave is in volatile situations.  There is a huge market for women who are on the verge of getting into a physical altercation regularly, yet want to keep their hair on their head.

Cynthia is talking about her businesses and her modeling agency and not much about the reunion

Nene is posting glam shots of the reunion and her with various people at the awards shows she attended and are reporting for for FP

Phaedra is posting about her friends Nene and Porsha and mostly fun shots with Kim and Chris

Porsha is thanking her followers for their support and mainly Kim, Nene and Phaedra for their support at the reunion

Kandi is still qualifying and defending Todd's behavior at the reunion

Kenya is tweeting rather nasty remarks about Kim, Chris, Phaedra and especially Porsha, embellishing what she thinks was going on in the ally with Jamie.

Aging Goth, you posts are very insightful; I enjoy reading them.

 

I although I do agree that she needs to control her temper, I didn't like how they dog piled on her. As you mentioned, it appears she attacks when provoked or threatened. They act as though she'll snap at a moment's notices over small issues--don't poke objects or fingers in her face (which I hate myself) and you're cool--those seem to be her trigger points. With that said, at least she's getting help, so that's the step in the right direction.  

 

I'm so over the Todd/Phaedra/Khandi/Appollo drama, but I will say that if the business transaction was between Todd and Phaedra, then Todd was right in specifically asking Phaedra for money; Apollo has nothing do with it. Does it really matter that Phaedra waited until the show to pay him the remaining balance? He got his money, so he needs to drop the issue for once and for all. That comment he made about Phaedra not knowing what went on with Apollo was low. I can't believe he went there.

 

Matt looks like a serial killer; I get bad vibes from him. Not feeling him at all.

 

I am glad that Andy finally called the ladies on their gay bashing; seriously, their boss is openly gay, you'd think they'd be mindful of that--and good for him for forcing Kenya to give a sincere apology. I don't think he's ever been fond of her, and that may give him ammunition to demote her as "friend of" status--which I don't think that will happen. At least the rest of the ladies apologized.

 

Out of the husbands, Chris was the only one I liked. The others can kick rocks. If the rumors are true, I hope Peter doesn't return.

Absolutely agree with this.  Phaedra seems to have deflected and delayed and didn't want to pay.  I liked that both Kandi and Todd called out Phaedra's pattern of how when it appears the public is turning on her she'll do the right thing at the last minute and then act outraged because of what steps had to be taken for her to do the right thing in the first place making her seem to be the bullied victim.

I think Todd really let it slip was the real problem between them was. I really feel like the crux of the falling out between Kandi and Phaedra is basically that Todd and Kandi don't believe that Phaedra is so innocent and was so clueless about Apollo's dirty dealings.

 

That sounds like a really, really bad excuse for the way Todd and Kandi have behaved. There is no way Phaedra would jeopardize her sons future or her own business like that. I´m not saying she´s above doing scams or breaking the law in general, but something that stupid or useless would never, ever be her way of doing it. And Apollo would have ratted her part out in a heartbeat, he´s not staying silent for the boys, if he could, he´d enjoy nothing more than to bring Phaedra down with him. I think Phaedra has had to take a big hit because of this mess, but she doesn´t want to talk about it or appear weak or "poor". She´s gonna keep up appearances no matter what. A good thing for her is that she now knows what a rat Kandi is. I hope Bravo gives Kandi and her nasty Addams family their own show.
