The pretty brunette country girl could be Brooke Shield's daughter. She's got a lot of potential. And I think Hadassah looks like a busted Iman. She probably thinks so too. And my boyfriend Nyle did awesome. I hope he stays strong and doesn't get targeted. Kelly wants to be Ozzy Osbourne's stunt double so bad it's starting to get sad. Devin and Bello are insane. I'm fine with that. Elevated storage container runway needs some giant pendulums. He has a wonky eye and with his hair pulled from his face, he looks like a velociraptor. He is signed to Elite? Really? With that face? Bello is so bitchy. I also would like to see the relative that has those ice blue eyes. Mother, father, grandfather; I need receipts! I'm amazed that most of these fragile wannabe models still try out for this show knowing they will be surrounded by vipers. Introverts who have never left their parent's house or their city before need not apply! "I wanna be a model, but I can't be around other people! *runs away in tears*" Haddassah is soo pretty, but so damn bossy. Running down your likes and dislikes during a house meeting will not make the others hamsters like you. And Tyra is going to torture her in the Makeover episode, trust. As for the rest of the hamsters, I figure names will be easier to remember after a third of them are gone. I think every guy who talked on camera was a douche. Mikey gets two strikes for looking like a tweaker and being creepy. Devin struck out entirely because in-demand talent isn't doing reality tv, six agencies and no work suggests he sucks at the job, and Tyra has no eye for talent (see: Ice Cream Mike, Tootie Saleisha, and pretty much every ANTM alum) Yu was surprisingly not douchy to Alexa. Although, he was pretty sweet to Alexa, and I really love the way he likes Nyle. I guess it's time for a girl to win, and probably will, this season, but Nyle is my favourite. In this cast, not hearing definitely works to his advantage. Mikey is ridiculous with his constant horndoggery. Bello and Devin need to to just get it over with and get a room. I can't get excited about little tiny girl. It's not that I think you have to be an Amazon to model, but she's less than five feet tall AND not that special. She's cute, at best. Hadassah, Bello, and Devin will be kept around for drama. Mame and Maleesa are really pretty. Mame needs a new haircut badly though; her hair is completely flat on the top, like you could set a vase on it and it wouldn't fall. You guys can keep Nyle; I still think Dustin is hot as hell and hope he makes it! I was actually kind of impressed with the Christian hippie chick's posing during the challenge and thought that she did better than everyone else. I have no idea about the others, but the woman with the busted grill creeps me out! Oh, and my husband said that he's surprised that Tyra isn't the one doing the voice-overs for Nyle. Wootini August 13, 2015 Share August 13, 2015 I can't believe we've already gone through two full episodes and we're STILL not at the final batch of contestants for the season. Phoey! It's also become clear that Tyra is casting people based more on personality than modeling ability this season. Hadassah is absolutely awful, but she's through to the cast because she'll bring the drama to the house. I mean, seriously, who calls a house meeting on the FIRST DAY to tell everyone to have good manners and not stare at her? Really? Also, she's very pretty, but her pictures are so flat. Mike's gonna get himself thrown out of the house for sexual harassment if he's not careful. And it was so offensive when he couldn't get anyone in his bed so he basically said "Hey, busted Tara Manning would probably be grateful for me to show her some attention." Ick. And then she admitted they only did innocent stuff? God, I hope she just means cuddling, even though she never should have even let him touch her at all... The first episode I figured Bello and Devin would cancel each other out and we'd be left with just one of them for the final cast (Bello, probably, because Devin is just busted and not in the good way like Busted Tara Manning), but now that we've seen them fighting in the second episode, I'm afraid Tyra will keep both of them around for the drama of it all. Sigh. It's also kind of obvious who's not going to make it based on the editing (if you didn't want to go look at the first cast photo). Just like in the first episode, there were tons of people who didn't get any screen time. Like at one point, I was "Who is that guy with the beard?" And then he got a moment on camera where they said he was Miguel, and I vaguely remembered him from the first episode. But then we never saw him shooting his picture or the judges talking about him, so… yeah. He's out. So is the Zach Efron guy whose name I don't remember. I mean, there were a whole bunch of people they just didn't show the judges deliberating over their picture. Why even bother, then? 2 Link to comment

IF you are going to focus on the 4' 11" models, the ones with horrendous buck toothed grills, etc etc then you should''t have put real models in that cycle too. Why mix Tyra, either there is beauty in the short and jacked up or there isn't. Anyone putting in an offer for that house now that it is presumably empty and up for sale? Wouldn't you love to have encouraging messages written all over your walls? And the selfie booth--this needs to be in every kids house over the age of 8, Stefano is the picture of the runner up last year, that virginal or gay guy who was in a romance with another hamster. Can't remember his name! If, I mean WHEN they cut Mike's hair he will be nothing. Sorta narrow faced. I was waiting for Mame to say she'd prefer to stay in the Tyra Suite alone. Girl looks like royalty. So gorgeous. Delanie should have kept the 30 pounds on, because she does photograph kinda largish and she would have made a stupendous large sized model. A real one, not a Whitney one. Devin--Has there ever been a hamster who put his/her fingers in their mouth? Methinks one of the 6 fabled agencies was a porn rep. edited because I was able to find the page with the model's stats, and all the girls who i thought would be prospective real models--Mame, Brooke Shileds girl, etc are all 5'6"'. akr August 13, 2015 Share August 13, 2015 (edited) It's amusing how they equate 5'4" with under 5'. 5'4" is about average! (For normal people that is, not models). And Maleesa, the one who they talk about as being that short, isn't even the shortest in the competition - that would be Courtney, at 5'3". You would definitely notice if anyone was actually under 5'0, but the 5'3 and 5'4 girls don't really stand out, especially since many of the others are only marginally taller at 5'7 or 5'8. You can't gauge someone's religious religious background or spiritual inclination from their appearance or name. Do Radha Mitchell and Uma Thurman "look Hindu?" That being said, there is a large sect of Ethiopian Jews and Hadassah may be one. Devin reminds me of the guy who auditioned a couple times for So You Think You Can Dance but was only remembered for his Wendy Williams impersonation. Both of those guys are the stuff of nightmares. IMO, Devin is not striking--he's hideous. Between the unfortunate hairdo when swept up accentuating his strange facial features and the lazy eye, I really don't understand why he's here. Even Tyra said his 'career' in modelling wouldn't pay. I still don't believe Bello's eyes are completely natural. Maybe he had a promising start as a model and went nuts with partying etc. Anyway - shots below confirm work with at least one agency, and some nice shots. Of course, both of these nitwits will be in the final cast. Along with "Don't stare at me from across the room" Hadassah and her boobs. Mike, ugh. I was deciding if I wanted to pull for him or not (since he's actually had a decent modeling career) but now I just want him gone. Keep it in your pants buddy. Delanie is probably the only girl who falls within acceptable height for a female model and will probably be one of the first ones gone. You just know that Tyra is keeping all the crazy and short ones and anyone with a remote shot at modeling post-show will be cut as soon as Tyra and Co. can arrange it. Because we can't have an ANTM cycle without at least one Angry Black Woman...I'm guessing Hadassah was trying to take the role away from Bello? Also, re her being Jewish: Didn't I hear one of the judges call her an Ethiopian princess? She could very well be Ethiopian Jewish...or some other Jewish...or her parents may have just liked the name. *shrug* Bello and Devin: I'm over both of them. I still think Bello got iris transplants (yes, they are a thing, apparently). But if I have to hear Devin say one more time how many agencies he's with...and then see him break down in tears on the set...if you're gonna make me CHOOSE, ANTM, I guess I'd rather have Bello with his fake eyes and his fake Spanish/Italian/whatever that was. Alexa: SERIOUSLY?? Pretty sure it was last cycle or the cycle before when an ANTM contestant's KID competed...so there's NO excuse not to know what you're getting into when you sign up for this gig. And on that note: I can't wait to see how all the "scared of heights" folks will do on next week's show. PamelaMaeSnap August 14, 2015 Share August 14, 2015 I am staying completely spoiler-free but I do wish I knew the timeline of the taping of this series as well as the timeline for Miss USA ... I don't think it's a spoiler to remember that Mame is the reigning Miss Maryland and finished fourth runner-up to Miss USA just a few weeks ago. She's a local girl for me (squeeeee, local girl Mame and local guy Nyle, let's have a Maryland double win!) and IMHO drop-dead gorgeous without all the drama so I definitely want to root for her but don't want to get too attached because I'm not sure if it's logistically possible she could have done both. (Oh, and I realize "local girl/guy from Maryland" sounds like "hey, I live within a 5-hour drive of them! but actually I live 20 minutes from both Frederick and Silver Spring, their respective "home towns.") I do look forward to having her drop a "I'm Miss Maryland, bitch" on Hadassah when 2013 Miss Sugar Land (suburb of Houston), says "I'm a paaaaaaageant winner" for the eleventy-mazillionth time. I can't buy into ugly teeth girl. I don't mean to sound shallow. But she just looks like something the horse dragged in (sorry if I mixed my metaphors there). I cannot remember the name of the African-American girl with the awesome hair ... the one who's not Mame, Hadassah or Maleesa ... but I think she's gorgeous. Still think Nyle and J-smooth are gonna go far and that we'll be stuck with the diva antics and cat fighting of Devin and Bello for at least a little while (nice little change to have the boys being the bitches) ... I suspect some of those we haven't heard much from are the ones who will drop off the catwalk or whatever it is that they're doing next week to show who's in/out but I hold out hope that pretty Dallas may stick around awhile, even though he seems stunningly normal. Are we to assume a 7-7 split? I guess we're looking at Nyle, J-smooth, Devin, Bello, Mikey (based on air time) so that leaves only two more spots for guys. Link to comment

Hadassah is this cycle's Alasia/Camille/Monique, the "black drama queen who is there to win because she wants it so bad, and doesn't want to be anybody's friend". Devin and Bello are 2 peas in a pod. I have no idea why they are even here. They Are both ugly on the outside and the inside. Does Bello remind anybody of Dionne from "Clueless" as played by Stacy Dash? They have the same face and bitchy attitude. Miley is creepy and giving my rapey vibes. Pity since I thought he was the most modelesque last week. Is Maleesa really less than 5 feet? Damn she is shorter than Sundai from the short cycle and Eva from cycle 3! The ex-fat girl is another early favorite. She does look like Helena Christensen in the face and I think she is the only girl who is actual model height, so which means she will be eliminated early and go on to an actual modeling career. Mr. muscles can get off my TV screen now. He is completely useless as a model. Someone upthread hit it right on the head calling him "Peeta on Steroids". LOL I hope he is one of those that falls off the container runway next week. Yes, they showed a quick shot of Nyle and his twin who appeared to be chubby and a redhead. Her leaving virtually had no effect, other than cutting down the number. The reason they didn't show it I think was because they want to end on a "cliffhanger". (snort) I know. I get the feeling Mikey is putting on an act so as to not be himself which can be hard to do in front of all these characters and on camera. He came across very vulnerable last episode (didn't he break down?) and all of a sudden he wants all the women to be with him. I am not buying his act. Tyra seems to have the most fun with Miss J. It must be a blast. I just wish some of the more vulnerable contestants are given some counselling from the show before they are released back so they deal with the experience better. Link to comment

I think they should do a better job of vetting these contestants before letting them compete. I know they exploit some of them for the sake of drama, which is a discomforting thought, yet I continue to watch the show. Some of them aren't of sound mind and oftentimes, it feels uncomfortable watching certain contestants slog through the competition. 1 Link to comment
