  1. I came in supporting Mel C and Suni and along the way, I became a fan of Iman and Daniella. Congratulations to them for winning! The final two was spot on and JoJo was a worthy winner too, but I hoped that Iman would win. He definitely improved as the season progressed and he always had a great attitude and willingness to learn. I looked forward to his dances with Daniella, whose choreography was amazing this whole season. I love her as a pro.
  2. The problem with Tyra is that she treats DWTS like it’s America’s Next Top Model with the over the top fashion, too much talking, and asking the contestants probing questions. Suni was sick and should’ve been left alone. I don’t believe JoJo was actually in the bottom two, but hey, who knows? Maybe the general DWTS audience has a problem with two women dancing together. Olivia is a good dancer, but it’s obvious production is stepping in and helping her ever since she was in the bottom two with Mel C. Everytime the powers that be have pulled the strings, that contestant makes it to the final and ends up in fourth place anyways. At this point, I like Iman the best. I look forward to seeing his dances with Daniella every week. Tonight, their paso wasn’t the best, but I really enjoyed their jive. He looks like he’s having a great time out there.
  3. I could totally see that happen and I wouldn’t be mad about it. Iman is not the strongest dancer in the competition, but he is charming, gives it his all every week, and does a great job with the choreography that Daniella gives him. He doesn’t just stand there and let her do all the work. He also makes lifts look effortless. Daniella is amazing. Jenna is delivering great choreography every week, but Daniella is on another level. Imagine what she could do if she had a ringer. She kind of reminds me of Karina Smirnoff in that she’s a beautiful dancer who is just lovely to watch.
  4. Unpopular opinion here, but I actually liked Leah and Michelle hosting. The first show was a big mess. However, I enjoyed the rest of the week. They made me laugh a lot of times and I would love for them to continue especially because I dislike Whitney Cummings. The thing I liked the most about Leah and Michelle was how well they treated Wendy’s staff. It’s very apparent that Wendy doesn’t treat her staff well especially Suzanne who was barely shown towards the end of last season. I liked that Leah and Michelle included and interacted with them. Norman, DJ Suss, and Suzanne looked genuinely happy!
  5. Lol, I like Derek, but I feel second hand embarrassment whenever he calls the male celebs these names during his critiques.
  6. Ugh, this is why I hate watching DWTS sometimes! Either my favorite makes it to the final and doesn’t win or gets eliminated too soon like Mel C. I’m not mad that Olivia stayed because I think she’s a good dancer, but how did a Spice Girl even get eliminated in the first place? She lacked confidence, but she was delivering great performances. It’s a shame we won’t get to see what could’ve been a breakthrough performance for her. I guess it came down to Gleb. He’s not very likable and frankly, I would’ve preferred a Mel and Val partnership instead.
  7. I watched Halloween Kills today and I thought it wasn’t as good as Halloween 2018. I enjoyed the flashbacks to the 1978 Halloween, which to this day, is still my favorite scary movie ever. I didn’t like that Laurie wasn’t in this movie as much and I hated that Karen was killed especially with how awesome she was in the previous movie. I thought for a moment they were setting her up to kill too like they did with Laurie’s daughter in Halloween 4. The decisions made by some of the minor characters just made them look absolutely dumb. For example, why didn’t the Johns leave and why were they living in THAT house to begin with? I wouldn’t live there even if it was gifted to me lol. Overall, the sequel is ok, but it doesn’t live up to the original. Halloween 2018 should’ve been a one and done. It’s annoying that Michael Myers won’t die. It’s been established that the guy is supernatural, but I would like to see Laurie triumph once and for all.
  8. I just finished watching this show and I found it to be both very disturbing and compelling. I thought it was really well done. The acting was great and the set design was impressive.
  9. This was the best episode of the season so far! I was 8 years old when all of this occurred so I didn’t know the full details. Back in elementary school, my teacher helped me write a letter to Bill Clinton and he actually wrote me back! This happened before the scandal hit. Who knows if he actually wrote it, but nonetheless, I thought it was so cool to receive a letter from the White House. As I watch the series, I can’t help but feel bad for Monica Lewinsky. Yes, she made a huge mistake getting involved with a married man who just happened to be the president, but it’s terrible that she was basically used to take down Bill Clinton. She was exposed by someone who she thought was her friend and had to deal with all of the negative media attention. I don’t think Bill Clinton was judged so harshly, even to this day. Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp is amazing. She makes me dislike Linda, but also, feel sorry for her. The part where she has shopping bags in her hand after turning Monica in, seems believable. I don’t think she felt remorse for what she did to Monica.
  10. I think that Kim K did a better job than I was expecting. SNL isn’t very funny like it used to be, but this was one of the better episodes I’ve seen lately. However, the OJ jokes in the monologue made me cringe! Kim K personally knew Nicole and her kids so those jokes are disrespectful to her family as well as Ron Goldman’s family. How is Michael Che still there after the Simone Biles/Larry Nassar jokes during the Olympics? I guess his “my Instagram got hacked” story worked.
  11. My favorite part of these Olympics in regards to gymnastics was seeing the gymnasts getting along. They were obviously after the same goal, but they still encouraged each other and seemed to be very friendly. I loved seeing that not just on the US team, but also amongst the different countries. The 2008 US team definitely had a lot of drama. I loved Shawn Johnson back then and she still remains one of my favorite gymnasts of all time along with Dominique Moceanu. There were a lot of stories about Shawn being treated like an outsider even though they all get along now.
  12. Congratulations to Simone for winning the bronze on balance beam! It was great to see her come back for this event and be happy. Suni was doing so well until that part where she almost fell off the beam! Had that not happened, I think she would’ve won a medal. I like her attitude though. She recognizes when she doesn’t perform well, but she accepts the results and moves on instead of dwelling on it. Overall, I’m very proud of Team USA. A lot happened at these Olympics, but they never gave up. I love that everyone is coming home with a medal!
  13. Is NBC even trying with their coverage of gymnastics lol? They only showed half of the floor routines and didn’t even bother showing the bronze medalists. What’s the point of mentioning that there was a tie for bronze or that Japan won an important medal if they’re not even going to show it? Waking up early to watch gymnastics live has been a pain for me, but it’s been worth it considering how terrible the coverage has been on NBC during prime time.
  14. I found these pictures of Jade and her dad on the Olympics Twitter account. 💕 Jade is really lucky to have her dad by her side. They look like they have a wonderful relationship.
  15. According to the NBC Sports app, the balance beam starts at 4:53 am eastern time. Simone will go third and Suni will go after her.
