That doesn't do anything for me, but after seeing John Goodman as a talking finger shoved up noses and assholes in that demented commercial for an online casino, I'm just relieved to see him in a normal commercial.

Because you just can't get enough of Troy Polamalu's luscious locks - and let's add a dash of Patrick Mahomes - to the new Head & Shoulders commercial

I want to be amused by that one, but I can't help telling the one guy (I don't watch the NFL so I don't know which one is which) that 100% humidity is rain.

Now I'll have to duck, but there's a new Progressive ad that's a fake hand model contest and I think it's hilarious. But I've always liked Flo.

"I was hungry" LOL

I've probably watched too many episodes of America's Next Top Model, but this commercial makes me think of that show every time I see it.  I think it's pretty damned funny.

I love the part where the one judge dings one of the Upper Hands models for having a gross pinky.

This one just popped on my radar.

Nice ad, however I almost didn't click that link because the last time I saw John Goodman in a commercial was in an vaguely disturbing ad where he played a thumb. I also wonder how he explained what a rotary phone was.

There is an ad using the remix of Elvis' A Little Less Conversation. That remix was first used in a Nike ad that is still one of my favorites.

Oh man, that is cool as hell!  I was amazed at how many of the players I recognized even though I wasn't watching the sport as faithfully then.  But of course Henry wins.

I'm not a sports person but I hate that song. It reminds me of being coerced for sex when I was younger.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that.  I love the song, but I can certainly understand why you wouldn't.

I know a lot of people hate this one, but I watch the Geico commercial for 'Jon Jon' the famous hand model sneering at one of the contestants: 'Your wayward pinkie is grotesque'.

That's a Progressive commercial, it's been discussed upthread.

TD Ameritrade commercial where the man is talking to Dolph Lundgren about even though he's a great investor, he can still consult the TD Ameritrade consultants for help if things get Rocky.   Yes, Dolph crushes the metal water bottle when the man says that.    I thought it was hysterical.

Crying dude cracks me up.

Jeff Goldblum is perfect in these ads, and I can’t get over how incredibly well he’s aging. Portrait-in-the-attic-level preservation.

I wanted to make a separate post for my current favorite, ad, but it’s not working. Anyway, it’s the new Etsy one with the guy meeting his partner’s family for the first time. I have an allergy to sentimentality and usually only like funny ads, but this one? OMG, it’s so lovely, in the main because it’s heartfelt without feeling the least bit schmaltzy. The lead actor does such a beautiful job conveying ... I’m not even going to try to put it into words ... it hits me in the feels like nothing has in a long time.

The  Advocate agrees.

I saw that ad for the first time yesterday, and it hit me in the feels too.

I just saw this one, and I agree - the actor playing the partner absolutely nails the nervousness anyone would feel and how that's magnified for a same-sex couple; the facial expressions and body language going on in a brief commercial are really something, and far better evoke emotion than would have a more ham-handed script of the same scenario.

That's a real nice commercial.

I like the Dr. Pepper Fansville commercial where the guy is on trial for jinxing the kicker.  I specifically like it for the part where the lawyer objects to him talking about having a Dr. Pepper because it is irrelevent, and the judge overrules it because "Dr. Pepper is always relevant."

The Campelll's ad for chicken noodle soup with Ricky Nelson singing gives me the warm fuzzies. Ricky was my tween heart throb.

I love that commercial too.

I actually saw him in concert not too long before the plane crash.

I love the Etsy commercial about the ornament too.

This might be strictly an  Internet ad, but the Amazon  ad with the woman  daydreaming about Christmas,  with her family all dressed up as Christmas  boxes. I won't call it a favorite,  but I like the fact that they're using a normal sized woman and not a flesh colored stick.

Sorry I couldn't locate the ad to share it here.
