Sweet Fellowship: Duggars and Friends (aka the Bates Family and Other Featured Families Thread)

Message added by Scarlett45

If a person/family was never featured on any of the Duggar shows, and is not related to the Duggar family by blood or marriage, they do not need to be discussed here..

The Politics Policy is still in effect. A participants social media is NOT an invitation to discuss their political view points. Consider if discussion of certain social media posts will cause you to violate the politics policy BEFORE you hit the "Submit Reply" button.

We may all agree that David Rodriques is quite unfortunate looking, but let's refrain from comparing human beings to apes, its got way too much of a loaded history- please review the new Inclusion Policy updated May 1, 2022 , which details guidelines around discussing body type, capabilities, physical appearance etc. Additionally, using body size as an insult is not allowed.

We go to Joy Baptist Church and we can say, it fits the name.  Our Family has so much JOY and peace at this church.  A church that FULLY embraces truth and grace.  A place we can actively serve and use our talents.  A place where the youth is spiritually focused.  A place where there is hospitality.  A place where there is balance.  A place that loves.  A place where we have fun.  A place that stands strong in the face of a world that begs for compromise.  A place that does not show favoritism towards status or position.  A place that is humble. A place that is thankful.  We are blessed indeed and our hearts are filled with JOY!  😁

Where do YOU go to church and what do you love and appreciate about them?  😊

Timbits was in an accident just before Thanksgiving. He apparently fell asleep at the wheel at 7:30 am, crossed the center line, hit a trailer, then wound up in a fence. This is his 3rd moving violation during covid.

Jesus couldn't take the wheel because he was otherwise occupied (maybe attending a sportsgame)  and Tinkerbell refused to help out because her back is still not right after carrying Timmy over  water during the summer .

Those masculine feats of strength are hilarious in selling how godly Joy Baptist is. 😂

Will The Airing of Grievances also be documented for us? We already know what grievances Jill has against us horrible ungodly people.

Third moving violation during Covid and this happened at 7:30 am?  Maybe he works the 11-7 shift somewhere. I am surprised that he can afford even the basic insurance if all of these accidents are his fault. Has Jill been begging for a car for this kid so that he can continue to do the Lord's work whatever that is?

Maybe Timbits was so tired from the frenetic pace JillR needed so the Barndo renovation was done for her Thanksgiving festivities. He was probably working full time at a job plus full time construction. JillR never posted anything about poor Tim because perhaps she knew everyone would be critical oh her.

Well I know y’all have been waiting to hear about JillR’s knee. Finally had her MRI and there were FOUR things so no wonder she’s been in such pain. Somehow she has to mention SEVERLY  quadriplegic Amy too. She is too much.

I have, in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".  During the Barn Dance.

But dancing is not godly so this arm wrestling must be different.

Oh, Jill. She has FOUR SEVERE things wrong but she has to crow that she's not as bad off as her quadriplegic sister. Because I'm sure that comment will just brighten the hell out of Amy's day.

Jill's such a monster.

Seems like her actual 4 injuries are common and I think if I went for an MRI on my knee right now, I would probably have similar tears, lol. She is so hungry for attention of any sort it’s pitiful. Now that Nurie is gone back to Florida JillR needs to occupy herself with her pain. She seemed to be getting around just fine up to now.

Maybe Joshley D gave him a tutorial on how to watch porn while driving.

Or he passed out from malnutrition.

Her knee may never be the same and she may be inhibited from being as physically active with her kids as she usually is?

I just imagined the lives of those kids getting exponentially worse as Jill bellows from her recliner, surrounded by several fluffy pillows, wearing a pretty brand-new dressing gown worthy of the 'Gram, that "Mommy's water needs more ice!  Mommy needs her hair brushed!  Mommy dropped her phone and can't reach it!  Mommy needs help in the potty!  Mommy needs a ham and cheese sandwich, crusts cut off, light mustard, extra mayo, pickles on the side, potato chips and a grape popsicle nowwwwwwwwwwww!!!"

She's going to milk this knee thing for months, if not forever.

I agree that Jill will milk it. I also wouldn't want to be her surgeon. If she's not happy with the results, she may end up angry and full of blame, similar to the anger & blame (and probably non-payment) she held towards TimBit's college.

Don’t forget her beloved precious hunk who sits next to her in his throne bellowing his demands 24/7. No way hunk does anything for himself.

It's too bad there is only one "youth" at Joy Baptist Church. At least that kid is "spiritually focused."

Who's covering the liability since Tim caused the accident and apparently damaged the other car and the fence? Jill should be praying he doesn't get sued, not that it would be worth it.

Jill has four "things" in her knee, and she tore them all! However, she didn't exactly rush to see a doctor so not to interrupt her vacation. Amy must have the patience of a saint to put up with Jill. You just know the minute she saw the report, Jill called Amy to cry and carry on about her SEVERE injury.

So many Rodriguii, so little time.

She may sing a different tune when the bill arrives. My husband had an MRI on his knee done last month and we owe about $700 after insurance.

She won’t owe anything because I am 99% sure she has Medicaid, courtesy of the taxpayers (and that’s fine). She’s the one who puts down other “takers,” it’s only ok when it’s her family receiving help.
Guess what Jill? I found out a few months ago that I have osteoarthritis in both of my feet (amongst other foot issues). Yes, it’s sucks that I can’t do everything I did in my youth. You know what I didn’t do? Announce it on SM.

Agree, but who is going to pay for what Tim did?

Good question. I’m sure he has only the minimum in auto insurance coverage.

There is no public assistance that I am aware of for insurance and this case. Maybe it will be "Go Fund Me" time?

Mr. Turquoise tore his meniscus the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We saw a doctor that same day. No knee brace, he has been using a cane, and we slept in the living room a few nights because all the bedrooms are upstairs. No trips to Florida, no constant updates on SM. And yet he is healing...not as fast as he'd like, but still healing.

I want to know who ordered the MRI. Why did it take so long to have it done? The MRI showed this awful injury, not like other people, 4, that’s right 4. And it’s between surgery and physical therapy as the answer. As told by?
I wonder how long before she sees this specialist.

Much as I loathe Jill and her antics, I'm not sure that the length of time it took to get the MRI is necessarily fishy. It seems these days that scheduling medical appointments can be a real crapshoot. The other day I was talking about this with friends. We agreed that lately, medical appointments are often: "we have an opening this afternoon, and the next one is eight weeks from now."

That is so true.

Whatever damage Tim caused to the other vehicles will be covered by his liability policy. I am pretty sure this coverage is required by law in all states if you drive a car. If he doesn't have collision coverage the damage to his vehicle will not be covered.
