Nathan may not be the world’s greatest catch, but if he’s a hard worker and kind to her, then I’m happy for her. She really knows nothing else, so this is her dream. 

Hopefully, though, she’ll get away from Mama’s clutches and realize how crazy that life was. I’d love it if Jill tried to drive the RV down to FL and Nurie was like, “New phone, who dis?”  It won’t ever happen, but the DRAMA on Jill’s SM would be worth it.

Well, Nurie's had a lifetime of Pavlovian training to put on the big Jill R-style smile and stare straight ahead every time she sees her horrible mother's camera. 

And Nathan is so dazed and amazed by the realization that he's about to get some that he has to avoid looking at the stranger he'll be getting it with to avoid instantly jumping her bones.

So, yeah, they're probably allowed to look but it doesn't really come into the equation for either of them at the moment.

Yeah, but most of them are dirt poor, so none of them could pay enough tuition to support a school.  I think one of the main reasons they homeschool rather than send their kids to regular church-based schools is because they couldn't come up with tuition.

Gothard insists that all families must be self-supporting with no outside jobs.  Considering the lack of education, initiative and native intelligence in so many of his followers; this means they are going to be spending most of their lives struggling to keep a roof over their heads unless, like the Duggars and the Bates, they strike it rich on TV or social media.

Looking at the courtship photos all I can think is, "Why are Nurie and Nathan slinking around in the bushes like a couple of stalkers?"  I also note we cannot see their hands in that picture, I hope hers is down his pants. And vice versa.  Jill is an idiot.

I’ve said the exact same thing about Jill (although I picture her on the hood of an RV)! Poor Tawny Kitaen, she doesn’t doesn’t deserve the association.

Also, how obnoxious for Jill to be posting all of this stuff about Nurie’s “courtship.” Shouldn’t Nurie get the pleasure of doing that? Or is her access to social media dependent on her marital status too?  Although I expect nothing less than Jill making everything about herself, 24/7, 365 days a year, until the apocalypse, at which point I want to watch her face as she finds out she’s been wrong all along.

Jill is the photographer, videographer, the makeup artist, the hairstylist, the fashion consultant, the publicist, the social director, the spiritual advisor, the chaperone, the wedding planner, the everything. Nurie and Nathan are just there for the ride.

On a different note: Nathan looks like he has the same small palate that Derick did before his (botched) surgery. Nurie comes from a family gene pool of bad teeth. I can just imagine how this will play out in the next generation unless Jill is still around to grift some orthodontia.

THIS! I was just coming here to say this! Does Nathan want all of this plastered all over social media? I assume Nurie wants whatever mom wants. But Nathan probably can't ask for any level of privacy; it's not like he and Nurie can talk privately and come to an agreement about how much/what they'll post.

Oh, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jill is along for the “ride” if you know what I mean, or at least waits outside the door of the RV to find out how it went. $100 that Jill & David go on Nathan and Nurie’s “honeymoon” with them (aka drive back to Florida after the wedding).

Just checked it out.  Could only last a minute but I forwarded to the naked face Jill.  She looks so much younger!  I was distracted by her bangs getting into her eyes.  In a household with 5 million hair clips she is making people watch her fighting to keep her hair back.  I digress.  Her eyeliner application is something to behold.  I imagine she is buying new ones all the time its so thick.  She isn't an unattractive woman she is just weird AF with abhorrent views and children of the corn kids.  I would like to see them all with a 21st century makeover.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if that happens, I hope Nathan (and/or Mr. Keller) pull out the “Hello, patriarchy” bit after the wedding and tell her that Nurie’s “preferences” regarding the gifts don’t matter, because the devil put them in her head, and she has to do what her husband says.  I’d love to hear Jill’s response to that.
