I would LOVE a shakeup but the article I read indicated that lack of the orange doesn't mean anything since there were other periods when she had removed the orange from social media.

Also why would she remove the orange so quickly - it's not as if BRAVO would police her site and demand she take it down immediately.

Just a few theories...

When the womens' contracts have expired and not yet renewed, they are no longer RH's. So, maybe they change their status to avoid any legal issues.  Or, I wonder if the more popular housewives use it as a message to Bravo.   They only add the reference once a contract is signed.  

With RHOC, I also wonder if there might be a bit of a delay with casting announcements given that Kelly Dodd's new boyfriend is on the East Coast and she shared she'd like a job transfer to NYC.

It would be risky to lose some of the main OC wives and put all their apples in a cart of new wives.

I think they have some juggling to do.  I would actually really like to see Kelly in NYC.  That could be a good move for that city.

Is there an ellipsis after the word runs? As in gym she runs...alongside her husband

If so the missing words could be "gym she runs into the ground alongside her husband, Eddie Judge"

I'm so friggen happy... I was ready to tune out next season if this bish was back... extra happy Vicki is gone as well... I'm ok with Shannon getting another season - I'd like to see what she brings without those two morons in her ear.

Shannon without Vicki or Tamra around will be interesting to see.  She has the new boyfriend, three daughters, plus interesting simmering feuds with Emily + Kelly... plus she and Brauwyrn had a fun spark..... Tamra who?

I know there is a new HW show coming out: Salt Lake City. They need to just scrap OC altogether and get another new city. 

I have a feeling BH will be on the way out after this next season, too. I don't want to see Dorit on my screen and from the gossip sites Lisa Rinna has taken on the mean girl role. Not interested.

I cut my watch time in 1/2 when Kelly Dodd joined, and abandoned it completely after the Brooks/cancer shamelessness.

I might poke my nose behind the curtain just to see what's what with the new season, but it will have to move 360 degrees for me to stay.  I've been out of BH for 3 or 4 seasons now.  Don't see that changing.

I have to give her credit for sticking around so long without ever being the primary villain. I'm mildly curious what it'll be like without her, because she was pretty decent about making story happen. Like when she pretended to be friends with Gretchen for part of a season to prevent their feud from getting too stale, or when she helped create the Shannon-is-crazy story Shannon's first year. 

Anyone else think she and Vicki will shop a spinoff of sorts? For some reason I imagine them doing a "Simple Life" kind of thing. Or at least trying to sell that.

I’ve seen Shannon at Braunwyn’s new house. BW may have done a video that she was on during that visit.  They are good friends.

I think it was her Instagram video, she showed a real estate book, and wrote she was studying for her test.  This was just a couple of days ago.

 I believe I read that Tamra had been offered three episodes to "wrap up her story" which she declined to do. Whether that is literally true or whether they just gave her the option of "friend"  - who knows? 

I think it was a combination of demographics shifting way too old and also how dark the series had become. I am on some kind of Bravo survey and I am sent a long on-line questionnaire after each of the Housewive franchises airs in which I essentially rank the cast; let them know whose "side" I was on in feuds; answer whether I liked it more or less than other seasons; whether it is going to stale etc. I would imagine they also do more concentrated focus groups and there would have been a consensus that the series had gone very dark and Tamra/Vicki were pretty universally despised with not much in the way of redeeming features except they had been on the show for a long time.

Gretchen was gone when she ceased to have any storyline except the relationship with Slade although ironically with the birth of the baby she would actually have had a storyline.

In terms of analyzing Andy's statement about why Braunwyne was "interesting", it is clear that neither Vicki nor Tamra had a compelling independent storyline except to be assholes and shit stirrers. Hate or love Braunwynne's mother and the weird dynamic of the family - there is actually true organic stuff that is interesting and doesn't depend on being vile and starting crap.

Kelly has poor anger management but as far as I can remember, she isn't the instigator in the on-going feuds which seem to have dominated the past seasons. She was pissed at Vicki when Vicki set up her ex but I think most viewers probably agree that it is not something one does to a friend - especially if you don't tell her. That was completely unlike the idiotic "fake" issue when Emily set up the cousin because obviously Emily had no idea the cousin was in a relationship - why would she have set her up - that would have made no sense.

As I am an evil bitch, my real interest lies in whether Tamra can financially support the house of cards she has set up since her income from the show was about $600,000 plus any money she brings in from promoting stuff in person or on social media and of course all the free stuff she gets because restaurants, resorts, clothing, furniture etc. want to get a mention on her social media or be featured on the show. 

While CUT may break even or bring in some income, I can't imagine it generates enough profit to support the kind of lifestyle she lives nor do any of her side rackets like CBD seem to be viable income replacements for the BRAVO salary. On the other hand, I am amazed that some of the housewives like Gretchen and Slade seem to be able to go on living without any visible means of support.

Vicki and Tamra are probably the most expensive to keep in terms of salary, no? Bravo might have finally accepted it was no longer cost effective to keep her around.

Why would they need Tamra to “wrap up her storyline”? Also...what storyline?

Not a BRAVO insider so don't know if it's true  - it's just what I read on an entertainment website.

I would imagine that if "true", it would mean that she was on for specific episodes and so her "storyline" could conclude with her actually departing the show versus her not appearing at all. I guess she could theoretically make a graceful exit versus being fired. In the past - and again as far as I can recall - the major housewives like Jill Zarin or Gretchen were clearly fired - left without wanting to versus housewives like LVP,  and Bethenny, the Heathers or NY and OC) or Carole Radziwill who appear to have left of their own volition. 

My understanding is that a friend doesn't really know if they are going to appear on any episode and they are paid ONLY for an episode in which they appear while a housewife is paid for every episode even if she doesn't appear or has a minimal presence.

I did not hate Tamra nor did I like her but I was so used to her being there. Kind of like a co-worker you hate but you have to work with them so you just tolerate them and make the best of it. Tamra was getting too disgusting and crass, desperate to stay relevant. 
Who is Shannon going to cry to now about her problems?  I think I’m done with this franchise because I don’t like anyone else except Shannon, who I only tolerate. Maybe I will check out the new ho’s of Salt Lake City.

Very few HWs get to wrap up their story or make a graceful exit...some might have in the early years but they mostly just disappear in-between seasons.
