I thought Lee handled the Rhylee situation perfectly. He let her know it wasn't entirely her fault, but she needs to manage her reactions. And he told Ashton that just sending the problem away wasn't effective management. And, of course, Ashton got all pissy about it in his THs - accusing Lee of going along with a "third deckhand." No, moron. Lee was going with his OWN observations and instincts. 

I do think Rhylee started putting in a good effort after - even laughing off the boys' thinly veiled put downs. Truth is, she really IS good with the guests. I wonder if she'd like interior? Put that math whiz on some knot tying. 

Ugh, Kate, just stay away from Tanner. He skeeves me out so much. I don't know why Courtney would call him a "playboy". He's more like a clumsy, horny teenager. 

 

To me, Brian's text sounded like he was trying to call things off. Maybe he's got a thing going back at home. And why are you texting someone who's just in the other room? I find him the least offensive of all the guys, but he's being an immature dick now. Why is he getting so mad that Courtney vented to her coworker? He had plenty to say to Ashton. 

Kevin was really the one who stirred it all up and made it sound worse than it was. Maybe he should've been taking some preventative painkillers instead of being a drama queen. 

I've always found Alexis pretty extra, so the non-stop PDA was not a surprise at all. Nauseating, but expected. 

Did her boyfriend just come from an eye exam? Because I have no other explanation for those sunglasses.

Throw the whole deck crew away (except Rhylee). Why is it that some men of my generation think it’s acceptable to break up via text? It just shows how little he respected Courtney. I do agree with Brian on one thing, Courtney should keep their private matters private. Simone is so sweet. She’s taking care of Kevin the same person who was once disrespectful to her earlier in the season. I hope he felt like crap, while having to be dependent on her. I’m not surprised that Kate would want to hook up with Tanner after he slept with the stew she hates most. She’s just gross.

Tonight, they decide to go home together. 10 minutes later, he's all over the charter guest.

Later that night, Kate goes to get him, and he's not available.

Seems like this entire season is just one continuous douche move from the men.

I'm kind of in agreement.  Brian was a jerk to try to start this conversation over text, but I never got the idea that she and Brian were having any kind of serious relationship.  I mean, they are on a reality show, are at very different points in their lives (he has a kid, after all) and don't really appear to have a lot in common.

I don't think Rhylee brought that comment on herself.  Asston brought up the guests liking her.  She said all the guests liked her.  It was the boy club that didn't like her.  As a manager,  Asston should have said maybe we could all do better but no, Asston insults her by saying that the guests didn't spend as much time with her as they did.  It was an immature response by a so called manager who was told by his boss to be a 'manager' and  Asston said it in front of another deck hand.

Captain basically told them to suck it up and deal for the last two charters.

He forced people who didn’t like each other to work together.

Of course Ashton wants nothing to do with her, the way she’s snapped at him these two seasons.

Why would he want to be around her any more than he needs to?  He wants to minimize chances for any more fights.  And whose fault that she chooses to eat in the cabin alone?
