I am on the fence about Malena to be honest. Shes a pretty girl but I don't believe she will hold her memory in the dancing department. No idea how many dances the Jets have to learn so I do not want to judge and compare the amount of dances DCC have to learn to Jets dance routines.

Can someone tell Vivian to try out again please? I had a dream last night (only just remmebered it) where Vivian and Victoria randomly popped into it (they werent in my dreams for long tho) and they were both auditioning together for DCC and basically made TCC and Kelli basically defending them over their "horrendous" auditions, and allowing them into tcc and then onto the team. and then kicking them off the team mid season for their "attitudes" ...

Also I know this is 2 days later but did anyone count this from DCC twitter? I counted 150 girls from  Saturdays audition or is that me? I ask because I know DCC "lies" about how many people is at the actual auditions but it seems they get around 150 girls the last few years (tho the board numbers don't reflect I know)

LOL .. funny enough because I dreamt Vivian "improved" and instead of doing tin man she done wonder woman for audition and Victoria was doing "DCC is my be all end all" audition. Hard to explain how that went from my dreams .. 🙂

Ooh, for the post where we have finalists, can we maybe have a few FAQ too? For example: approximate # of women who tried out; # that got passed to semis; # who got passed to finals; vets retiring (and returning); judges, status of former DCC TC candidates, etc? Might be good to have as a reference point so people who are just catching up don’t have to dig back, and those of us who were here all weekend dont need to keep answering the same stuff? 🙂

Just pic-clicking and the two that I see that look BEE youtiful are 22 and 72.  Of course it may just be awesome still shots.....  The white outfit, number 66?  Just no.  

I've always been a huge Kristin fan, so it pains me to say this, but she does look like she gained a little.  Since Kelli never did love her, I am not confident in her making it into TC.

Anyone know if the Vets get picked to demonstrate the semi/finals routines for the TCCs or if it's a volunteer thing?  Is it always retiring/retired vets and/or All Stars?

My idea of the episode guide for season 14.

Episode 1-Prelims and semi-finals.

Episode 2-Finals, the first meeting and practice where they kick across the floor.

Episode 3-Special on the swimsuit calendar shoot and the TCC practicing.

Episode 4-ALL THE DANCING and maybe a cut, and MAYBE makeovers.

Episode 5-ALL THE DANCING, learning the kick line and jump split (I will never stop complaining about how these girls can learn both by watching them on YouTube and past seasons).

Episode 6-ALL THE DANCING, uniform fittings, and maybe cuts for having a thutt. 

Episode 7-ALL THE DANCING, cameos and HERE COMES KITTY to take out Grandma Moses.

Episode 8-ALL THE DANCING, getting the white boots and dancing on the field.

Episode 9-ALL THE DANCING, media training and a slaughter of cuts for getting your news from Instagram.

Episode 10-ALL THE DANCING, special segment on a performance.

Episode 11-ALL THE DANCING, most dramatic cuts with ALL THE MASCARA RUNNING DOWN FACES and announcing the team, and the first game.

Episode 12-Behind the scenes of appearances, more games, logistics, ect.

Episode 13-Final interviews with the rookies (some of who weren't drama enough for air time), and retiring vets.

There is a dancer named Peyton who danced on the Alabama team. I always felt like she had "DCC Style" - she auditioned for the DCC hip hop team and made it to their training camp.  She's really good.

I can't blame her for brushing off someone about eating habits who has never struggled with weight (not that I am excusing her behavior). I just don't think anyone last season sat her down and said "Kelli and Judy are no longer your family friends, they are your bosses now." Maybe she would have been more professional with them.

Not saying you're the only one but I have seen nothing thus far from VK to earn my respect.  But more power to her if she can prove me wrong.  Everyone deserves a second chance.

As for her weight, I hope she doesn't resort to using pills to maintain her weight.  It's not worth ruining her health.

I would like to see everyone auditioning succeed but they can only take so many to camp/on the squad.  That's why I don't snark on individual candidates/cheerleaders.

Using a thyroid disorder and having more than once chance to improve when others would not have been giving the same chance is not the same as brushing off someone because they have not struggled with their weight. That would be like my husband saying to his kidney specialist you have not dealt with Acute Renal Failure, three years of dialysis, getting a new kidney from someone who died, and having diabetes because of one the anti-rejection meds so why the hell should I listen to your medical advice and see you for medical care. I could say the same thing to the specialist I see for my hypothyroidism.

Someone could have sat down with her and say this is the real deal, but I doubt she along with Tina would have listen. Plus the fact, there were other current and former DCCs who were willing to help her.

Imagine getting a specialist to help you with one phone call. Normal people would have to jump thru hoops and feign death before they can get specialized care. And even then you would have to battle the health insurance company to pay for it.

I would also like her to succeed  based on her talent and not because of her relationship with K. I think she is a beautiful, talented young lady but it looks to be a tough year for talent so if she goes through, it had to be because she earned it. K & J have to separate their personal feelings and treat Victoria as they do every other girl.

VK and TK knew the thyroid story would not fly if they went to see the one doctor. I also bet Kelli wanted to keep Victoria, but Charlotte said nope she is causing way too many problems, so get rid of her.

What I worry about, and this is not to knock her, is how will she maintain this thinner version of herself in a healthy manner?  Aren't they supposed to remain within a few (not 10) pounds of their audition weight?
