Miss February June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Sooooo fucking tired of Sonja and all her sex references, double entendres and constant pawing of virtually any male, regardless of age. Yeah, and we didn't make it through this episode without a reference to her lack of underwear, this time said to the ranch hand who was trying to help her organize the refrigerator. She's like a verbal exhibitionist, if there is such a thing. 4 Link to comment

Midnight Cheese June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 (edited) Ramona was so horrible to LuAnn about Sonja's treatment of her and their friendship. "Jealous?!" Uh, no. LuAnn didn't seem jealous, just tired of getting shat on by such a nasty tool. Kristen will look back at her support of Sonja and insensitivity to LuAnn with regret. Sonja was happy to say Kristen wasn't a hostess and to call Kristen an instigator. Much like Sonja by definition, Kristen backed the wrong horse. Sonja is a con: read over the details of her fraud. She's a liar and a charlatan. Aviva and Ramona's nastiness is right there at the start. I really dislike Sonja because her entire personality and life is structured by her to hide how nasty and abusive she is. She is terrible. I would never have had the guts to rappel. I get why Kristen cried, but I think she was extra and put a little more on Heather than she needed, even if Heather should have shut her trap when Kristen was trying to have some courage when she started making her way down, and not expressed such shock in her TH that Kristen was even attempting it. It seemed terrifying. Anyway, those 3 are in crazy effing shape. LuAnn's look in particular was just spot on. ETA - psychnurse, your'e right; I forgot about that part of the cowboy's comment. An explanation perhaps why Bravo Blog comments were removed: http://www.examiner....f-new-york-news I believe Carole more than I believe Aviva, her lackey, Ramona and Sonja about this. Before all of the comments were pulled, the most cutting remarks were on Sonja's blog in terms of just reacting to how unreadable and irrational the content was, and how out of control she's been at different points of the season. But there were fans in there, too. Ramona had supporters, even after the wineglass bullshit. Aviva's comments were obviously goosed - multiple first name-dot-last name accounts, all in support - and those were the only positive comments. That seems to reflect how much of a negative non-entity Aviva is on this franchise in terms of other feedback on blogs on other sites. Carole had plenty of negative comments on her blogs, and Carole's were much longer and better-written than those by R, S and A. Ramona, Sonja and Aviva all have a really hard time dealing with reality and any non-ass-kissing feedback so of course they say bad feedback for them must be fake. Lola16 June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Sonja - you finally spoke the truth when you complained that LuAnn has it easier than you and that's why you are being awful to her. LuAnn managed to have an amicable (at least publically) divorce. That's all on you sweetheart. You lied. You cheated. You tried to manipulate. And you failed. Any remnants of charm are gone. Kristen - for the love of god, grow a pair or sit it out. And no, you would not find it funny if someone repeated rumors about you being unfaithful. Heather - don't be jealous of Kristen's looks. She's not all that and it makes you look petty. Ramona - shaddup. LuAnn - ignore the bitches. Carole - stop trying so hard. 6 Link to comment
AuntiePam June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Can't believe Ramona was actually going to phone Aviva to psychoanalyze her "ailiments". I liked Carole's hiking dress -- woman's a romantic, that's all that's about. Kristen -- nobody wanted to geocache, and if the treasure was buried even a little bit, they had no tools to dig it up with. She was more bossy than Heather. If somebody wants to do their own thing, let them. 6 Link to comment

I think whoever started the rumor probably camped on to Carole's quip about changing Wikipedia pages. I can't imagine Bravo let the comments go on as long as they did. All of the HWs had pretty horrific things said about them in the comments. I wish Bravo had not removed them and stopped allowing them. zoeysmom June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 LuAnn is being unreasonable. The facialist was asked what people were saying about the RHONYC. LuAnn has very high expectations if she thinks it is reasonable to throw someone out if you ask them a question and you don't like the answer. LuAnn is still just floundering without a storyline other than she no longer wants Sonja as a friend and she hates Ramona. I now see the reason for her demotion. She just isn't that good of an actress. If this group stays together they should have more say in where they vacation. This episode was really boring and yes the scenery was lovely. Let the ladies out on the town or at least as far as the Lodge at Paws Up. Ramona was right-Kristen wasn't a good planner-not that I think she did any planning. The best vacation ever was St. John's (Ramona's) and not because of the Kelly breakdown. The ladies for the most part seemed to have some fun-except Kelly. 4 Link to comment
Lablover27 June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 (edited) Hee! I totally get it. My one hair "tick," if you will, is to sometimes twist the front sections of my hair if I don't want to twist the whole thing (I wear my hair naturally). That way when I'm ready to leave my apartment in a few hours, the front looks nice and fresh. It's just that Ramona's curler is, like you say, the new "friend of the housewives." I don't know if you watch RHONJ, but Dr. V said on WWHL when Andy asked her about her thick hair she said she puts some baby powder in it. I swear, I did it and it WORKS! And your hair smells really good. LOL ROL is reporting that Avivas pervert and his girlfriend are getting a spin off. Ack, I just can't. Poopypiggydaddy and his lizard tongue? Is it a porn chanel? Lizzing June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I don't get Carole's wardrobe at all. If I were sent on a "work trip" (which is what the Montana excursion was), I'd pack jeans, shorts, comfortable shirts, and walking shoes. Perhaps a summery dress for a dinner with some nice shoes. I would NEVER think to pack a floor length silk vintage dress, let alone think that was hiking material. That shit could get snagged seven ways from Sunday on a hike. Save it for your friend's off off off Broadway show. For a bit, I felt for Kristen rappelling off the cliff. I could never do it, and it made me kind of sick to watch her. I'm tired of Heather touting her athleticism over Kristen. One time is enough. OTOH, Kristen needs to dial down the woe is meeeeee business on this trip. It's a Bravo trip, no one kicked her proverbial puppy. I've cut Ramona a lot of slack in my head this season due to what is out there about Mario and all of that. But her calling Lu "jealous" about her relationship with Sonja was just so ever so petty and nasty. I'm officially over Ramona. She can go hang with JillyZ. 2 Link to comment

If this wasn't staged (and it was), why is Sonja asking the facialist what people around town are saying about them? Heaven forbid there was something nasty said about Quincy. Would Sonja be a-ok with that? 10 Link to comment
LotusFlower June 25, 2014 Author Share June 25, 2014 Carole's blog had a lot of positive comments because she's a really good writer and a lot of people like her. Sonja, Ramona and Aviva's blogs had a lot of negative comments because they're crazy and a lot of people don't like them. It's really not any more complicated then that, but the three of them (and their lackey) create a fake conspiracy simply because they're delusional and in love with themselves and can't and won't accept that they're no longer popular. ROL is reporting that Avivas pervert and his girlfriend are getting a spin off.. ROL throws so much shit on the wall, without even caring if it'll stick, it's not even funny. Aviva's on the chopping block on RH, but we're to believe her repulsive and even more unpopular father and his outed famewhore fake gf hold enough interest for a spin-off?! It got so bad that even Andy had to respond to the anti-George backlash by saying on Twitter that he wasn't on any more episodes. Nice try, Aviva. Or Cody, or whatever your real name is. 5 Link to comment
LilaFowler June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 (edited) Montana was/is the Berkshires 2.0. Ramona and Sonja are going to whine about a Housewives vacation unless it's in an exotic location and there's an accessible party atmosphere with plenty of men and alcohol and servants to run around after them. Ramona did Scary Island. LuAnn did Morocco. Carole did St. Barth's. Heather did the Berkshires, and Kristin did Montana. Has Sonja ever hosted a trip before? I can't honestly remember. If she's going to brag about being this grand dame hostess, I'm going to need more proof than her decade-old stories about yachting with Saudi Arabian royalty or whatever the fuck it was. I do remember a costume party that she had at Grey Gardens and "forgot" her underwear. Another fun moment was when she threw Alex McCord out of a party. Any others? I'm sure there are. Kristin is another Brandi. If it's not about her, she's not going to be happy. She inserts herself into fights/situations unnecessarily, probably just for the camera time. She pouts and actually cries and storms off and flips out on her guests and is just generally no fun. Luann's been putting up with a lot of shit from Sonja and I didn't understand where it was even coming from--until tonight's episode. Sonja is completely jealous that Luann's post-divorce life is barely different from when she was married to the Count. It drives her insane that Luann hasn't screwed up her life the way that she has. Luann is also aging better and isn't some sloppy drunk who throws herself at any male that crosses her path. Sonja brought up her ex-husband again during the shooting thing. She really needs to move on. I bet he never thinks about her. Carole's hiking outfit was atrocious. Did anyone miss Aviva? Nope. Edited June 25, 2014 by candy moocher 9 Link to comment
motorcitymom65 June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Luann's been putting up with a lot of shit from Sonja and I didn't understand where it was even coming from--until tonight's episode. Sonja is completely jealous that Luann's post-divorce life is barely different from when she was married to the Count. It drives her insane that Luann hasn't screwed up her life the way that she has. Luann is also aging better and isn't some sloppy drunk who throws herself at any male that crosses her path. This has always been my contention. Lu, like Sonja, went through a very public divorce with an older man who had thrown her over for someone younger. In both cases these women were viewed more in terms of who they were as part of a couple, vs. any type of accomplishments of their own. Despite the similarities, they handled things very differently. Lu has seemingly moved on and looks to have carved out a very nice little life for herself. I am sure she doesn't have the financial resources she once did - or probably thinks that she deserves - but we don't see her sitting around bitching and moaning about how unfair the world is. Instead of talking for a couple of years about all of her endeavors, Lu kind of quietly introduced a line of high-end plastic dishes on QVC (I think it was QVC) last year. I understand they sold out very quickly. Now she has a clothing line. I have no idea if any of this stuff is good or not, but the point is she is just doing it, while Sonja talks about doing it. That and the fact that Lu fucked the pirate first, probably in a lush bed in the villa, while Sonja settled for some sloppy seconds out on the lawn, has to just piss her off. 11 Link to comment
ramby June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I agree with Kristen...Heather is bossy. She's also a know-it-all, a show off and a bitch. I was proud Kristen repelled. That' some scary shit but she did it! So no one really wanted to do the treasure hunt. Heather was the only rude one about it and not even letting Kristen enjoy herself. Sure, Ramona complained a little but then she did the right thing and just left. Heather stayed and was being an ass the whole time. If she wanted to drink beer she could have left with Ramona instead of ruining Kristen's fun. And the way she spoke to Kristen! Wow!! I know Heather spends a lot of time with Kristen and Josh. She sees the crappy way Josh speaks to Kristen so Heather thinks it's perfectly fine to speak the same way to her. I thought it was horrible. I thought Ramona has been funny in the past 2 Montana episodes. Her TH's make me laugh. Yeah, she complains but in her defense it does look boring there and I LOVE nature. Just not her cup of tea. I get that. She hasn't been complaining the entire time. She appreciates a lot of it. The views, the cabin, the massages. But eeewww....she's right to complain about the breakfast dishes still being outside in the evening. Is the resort supposed to make the beds, wash dishes and supply towels or are you supposed to spend a ton of money at a resort and wash your own dishes? Seriously...I'd really like to know. lol! 8 Link to comment
ghoulina June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Again, Montana is taking my breath away and I want to stay at that ranch and do every fun activity they are doing. Sigh. That place just looks downright beautiful and relaxing. And then you have Ramona complaining that her bed isn't made, and there's still breakfast food on the porch. Here's a thought - pick up after yourself! It's not like you're at a 5 star resort in the city, things are a lot more relaxed at there. It takes two minutes to make a bed, so calm the fuck down. I thought the tall women looked really lovely in their fly fishing gear, but Ramona was right - she did look like Humpty Dumpty in hers. And what in the seven hells was that shiny, pink get-up Carole was wearing at one point? Yikes. Sonja is hit or miss. One minute she is cracking me up with her bit about almost making out with a squirrel, the next she is pissing me off with her snobby comments about Connecticut and general disdain towards Luann. I really don't think Luann is the jealous on here. I think she is a confident enough woman not to compare her friendship with Sonja to the one with Ramona. I think the problem is within their friendship - I think she feels it is very one-sided, that Sonja does not give what she takes. And if there's any jealously, I think it's on Sonja's end, over the fact that Luann seems to have such an effortless single life while Sonja is drowning debt and her home is crumbling around her. However, I didn't think Sonja was calling Luann a pig when she made that comment. I thought she was trying to make excuses for why she handled the facialist's gossip the way she did - that you just don't get down in the mud with that kind of talk, and basically laugh and move on. My take anyhow. Then we have Heather and Kristen. I don't know what the hell was going on with Heather - she was being a total bitch. She started out trying to discourage Kristen from doing the repelling - "it's okay if you can't do it. Not everyone can". And what was her BS about Kristen doing it to prove something to Heather? Maybe Kristen just wanted to prove it to herself! Then later, when she's all toasted, she calls her out on crying afterward. I just thought that was such a shitty thing to do. So what if she cries? Maybe it's because I'm a crier myself, but I get Kristen in that respect. Crying doesn't always mean "sad". Often, for me anyway, it's a release. I cry when I'm angry, happy, etc. I could totally see crying after accomplishing something like that. And I thought Carole's analysis of how Kristen felt more in control during geo caching was spot on - but no one was playing along, least of all Heather. She was being a really shitty friend in that moment. I'm one of those people who tend to believe that our true feelings come out when we're intoxicated, so it would appear to me that something about Kristen and this friendship has been bugging Heather under the surface for awhile, and it finally came out. I'm just not sure what it's all about - it really seemed to come out of left field for me, and I ended up feeling pretty badly for Kristen. I'm not exactly a fan of hers, I think some of her behavior this season has been questionable. But I got the impression that she and Heather had a real friendship and I've never seen Kristen do anything to disrespect that, so I just found it very nasty the way Heather was treating her. 15 Link to comment

walnutqueen June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Ramona's churlish attitude is getting on my last nerve. BusyOctober June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Carole's hiking gown was perfectly appropriate...if she were appearing in a Ralph Lauren ad. The geocaching thing would be fun with another group, but not these women. Kristin should've known better. Sonja and her overt sexual predator act is so disturbing. Flirting is one thing but mentioning the status of your eggs or lack of underwear in the first 5 minutes of meeting a male specimen is just barely south of "George" level pervy. Other than men like George, who does Sonja attract with that act? Wish I knew that facialist... Heather is a know it all bossy pants. I think the stress and alcohol from earlier in the day magnified those traits. Still loving LuAnn this year! Still not missing one bit of Aviva. Please let the next tip be exotic enough for Sonja and in even higher elevation for Aviva. Katmandu anyone??? 4 Link to comment
chlban June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I cannot with Kristen any more. Kristen, honey, when Ramona looks saner than you do, it's time to step back. WTF with all the damn crying? If you don't want to do a mud run, rappel or anything other than whine and gossip then don't do it. It's really pretty simple. Even Ramona figured it out. I also agree with the comment already made. Who is the genuis that decided we tune in too RHONY to see Montana? Yes, the place they are staying is lovely and the secnery is beautiful. I got that in the first episode. Time to go back to New York. I must admit, that while I realize Ramona is a pain in the ass and I rarely agree with her, I woud hate, hate. hate that trip. The outdoors is nice for a walk or two. If there is a beach, excellent I can be quite content. I could probably even handle the Montana trip if they would leave me the hell alone with a good book and I could just take in the scenery. But, city girl born and raised. I love animals but I really don't want to ride them, and you could not pay me enough to risk my life rapelling down some stupid mountain. Although I have never personally been there,. I much prefer the Hamptons. I much prefer them on my TV screen too. Maybe I have just hit HW overload, but I am not enjoying either New York, my usual favorite, or Orange County, my #2. Since I didn't even make it through the full season of New Jersey last year, things are not boding well for me in Howive land. 7 Link to comment
shoegal June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I didn't understand why Heather had such a big issue with Kristin crying while repelling, I don't think she freaked out any more than Luann did, and if you are doing something like that for the first time, it's scary and stressful. I was happy for Kristin that she did it and proved to herself that she could. I normally like Heather, but she was being a total bitch to Kristin and I don't really understand why, unless she's really Josh's friend and has the same opinion of Kristin that Josh has of Kristin. If I were Kristin, I would have told her again to shut the hell up when Heather was giving her instructions while Kristin was hanging off the side of the rock. STFU, Heather, and let the instructor do his job. As for the geocaching, I went geocaching once with my niece and nephew who were 8 and 5. They had a ball, I was glad that I had some beer to drink because it was super freaking boring. I don't know why you'd want to go geocaching unless you were eight years old or had an eight year old with you. I wonder who came up with that brilliant idea?? However, Heather didn't have to be a bitch about the whole thing, but just trudge along half heartedly like the rest of them. I felt for Kristin, because the ladies had been bagging on the trip the whole time and she really was on a mission to make that little idea fun. Ramona was so gross with Luann, I am so tired of her bitching and bitchiness. She's not at all entertaining to me anymore. The only thing I enjoy about her is watching her waddle all over the place with her hoochie shorts and tight dresses, in complete denial of her new barrel torso. Over Sonja, too, what a nasty piece of work she is! I am glad Luann called her out for being shitty and I was disappointed that Kristin took her side. I do think that Luann is being a bit dramatic about "the facialist" but I don't understand this idea that it's funny if it's not true or that saying it's not true would validate the gossip. I think it would be funny if it WERE true (and maybe it is!) but it's crazy making for me when I hear things about myself that aren't true that other people believe are true, and I will correct it every single time. Sonja didn't correct it because she wants people to think of Luann as "LuMan" the Amazon woman barbarian dominatrix because Sonja is the sexy little minx who is oh so tiny. I think Sonja sees her size as the only advantage over Luann, that men prefer tiny little petite things. Luann's just looks amazing! I find her to be kinda blah in terms of hair and style, but her body is slamming. Gorgeous! I thought all of the fashion has been particularly bad this entire trip, but I did enjoy Kristin in the cut off shorts and poncho that she wore on the hike with Luann and Carole. Oh Carole. I love you, but that dress? NO. and please, with the pigtails. Stop, just stop. 6 Link to comment

Heather was not the only one rude about it, and IMO Ramona did more than complain a little. She actually got right up in Kristen's face and said "this entire trip is boring". Sorry, but that is harsh. Yes, I agree that Heather was being a bitch at the end, but she didn't start out that way at all. She was clearly drunk and engaging in the whole "group think" deal. No one was having fun and she was right there with the rest of them. I actually don't think she realized that she was being so annoying in the beginning. Everyone was kind of mocking the task at hand. I think that is why Kristen got so upset. Heather had been her cheerleader on the trip, backing her up when she said they were staying in for dinner. Of all the rude shit that went on, Heather asking Sonja and Ramona if they cared at all that Kristen had already arranged to have a talented chef come to cook for them, and they replied "no". Bitches. Cunts. Old hags. They are so clearly miserable in their own lives and will not be satisfied until everyone else around them is bitching and moaning as well. 4 Link to comment

ryebread June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 (edited) In the woods, Heather wasn't even what I'd consider "drunk". She was mildly buzzed which should be a pleasant experience. But she sure was nasty. She'd be a mean drunk, yo. I agree with whoever said, upthread, that she sounded like Josh. She also sounded a little like Ramona - when she was on the bridge with Bethenny. Condescending and hurtful. Calling Kristen a crybaby and speaking for the group when she said "get your ass out of the woods and stop trying to find something that nobody else cares about." Ouch. I hope she doesn't talk to her kids that way. Because that's what Heather sounds like, to me, whenever she talks. Like she's talking to children that she thinks are stupid. Even in her talking heads, it's like she's talking to us - a bunch of toddlers - who need very concise explanation. Complete with hand gestures. I agree that Heather wasn't the only one being awful, though. I can't believe that even if Montana, or geocache-ing, or rappelling isn't your thing you still couldn't at least participate from the sidelines by watching or encouraging. They're all being ridiculous. Edited June 25, 2014 by ryebread 8 Link to comment
jinjer June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I was surprised at the way Heather was trying to undermine Kristen when they were repelling. Those weren't words of encouragement like, "you can do this." It was, "This isn't for everyone" or "You don't have to do this." I wonder if she is jealous of Kristen's looks. Later she mockingly said, "But I'm pretty..." in a sing songy voice. Nasty. We get it, geocaching was boring. But Luann and Carole went along with it, but Heather was rallying the troops against her. I was surprised. 8 Link to comment
zoeysmom June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Kristen reminds me of the kid next door growing up. They had a pool and would invite me over to "swim". Before swimming she insisted we play these boring board games and with her plastic horses. It got to the point even the lure of the pool wasn't enough to make me sit through watching her play with the stupid plastic horses for two hours. Same thing when she came to our house we wanted to play badminton and she whined and cried and made my brothers and I play Clue. Finally we convinced our mom to say we had accidentally lost the pieces. She brought her own games over with her. Like Kristen the was an awareness factor that just wasn't there. If guests have to actively complain about your choices and you force them to do it anyway don't complain if they are less than enthusiastic. The geo stuff was dumb. I don't understand LuAnn's dynamic-does she really expect Sonja to give up her friendship with Ramona to be her friend? Even in her blog she is very immature writing about how she has friends like Heather, Carole and Kristen and doesn't need Sonja. LuAnn almost sunk the series with her salary demands . I don't see much of a future for Luann if she thinks she, Carole, Kristen and Heather make for interesting TV-they just don't. I have the ratings on my side to prove it. The four of them just aren't interesting as a collective or individually. I am wondering if Heather will be asked back next year. With the litigation heating up in the Sara Blakely/Spanx suit I just don't see Bravo/Shed media wanting to further alienate the audience. People and women in particular like Sara Blakely and her Spanx. 2 Link to comment
MatildaMoody June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Wow. Sonja really made it clear why she has been so nasty to Luann all season. She is jealous that Luann didn't fall apart after her public divorce. The way she was listing all of the things that Luann has going on for her with such drunken bitterness was really telling. All Luann was asking was for Sonja to put as much into their friendship as Luann puts into it. And, Sonja can't do that because she is too blinded by jealousy. Yet, she knows she can call Luann and Luann will be there for her? Friendships are reciprocal Sonja. 9 Link to comment

I've not ever really been a fan of Lu but my heart may have thawed a wee bit when she recognized that Kristen was feeling embarrassed and hurt about the geocache thing falling apart. She tried to help her find it when they finally got close. Empathy is important. 12 Link to comment
SuzWhat June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 What is up with Sonja (with a sexy J) going into full pose-mode with lips puckered as soon as she hears a male voice? Pathetic. Does she think the guy will think "wow, what full lips" and not notice when she drops the pucker later? It is almost as if she can't tell when she is alone posing in front of a mirror and when she is with others. 13 Link to comment

Midnight Cheese June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 (edited) Sonja has to purse her lips; those injections could lead to 'blowies,' which could lead to a paid-for dinner date! She's a business woman, mogul, philanthropist, mom, caburlesquer, movie producer, oven-mitt doyenne, toaster-oven impressario...but she thinks value in luxury is a MUST! I didn't pay enough attention to Kristen/Heather when I first watched and really agree with those grossed out by how mean Heather was. What's her damage? I have liked Heather but what the hell was going on there? You all are right, she was awful and passive-aggressive when Kristen was rappeling, was stupidly mean with the 'bawling her eyes out' comment later and 'pretty' nonsense. Really bitchy and actually cruel. Who is the real Heather? I hated that pink shiny dress of doom but Carole, along with LuAnn, was so game and great. I don't think the trip and events are boring at all. Sonja needs to be legally impaired and acting a ho'ish, dignity-free fool to have a good time, and more or less same for Ramona. They're just stupid-assed trash, and I don't value what they value, or think their opinions about anything have merit. If one of those boozy twats told me chocolate cake was delicious I'd have to confirm for myself. Shoegal, not too much. When she told the guy in the 'spotless shoes' by the fridge that she was panty-free yet again while trying to purse her mouth and bat her lashes, I was going to post that Sonja was probably going to reach for the butter and try to seduce him 'Last Tango in Paris' style while Carole toasted a bagel. Hey, Sonja just wants to be around people that value her for her! And value the 'anyone can get in' access that Sonja offers to her rectum. Edited June 25, 2014 by Midnight Cheese 11 Link to comment

I haven't read the blogs yet but it wouldn't be the first time Lu has surprised me in that regard. I want my Countesses to be above that kind of thing. Especially when Mrs. DeLesseps tries so hard to present herself in that manner - calm, cool and above it all. ETA: Hilarious, Midnight Cheese. Edited June 25, 2014 by ryebread 1 Link to comment
Midnight Cheese June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 LuAnn did not write that Sonja had to give up her friendship with Ramona and I don't she implied it. I think LuAnn was just pointing out that those 3 have history before the newer Housewives and there's a huge disparity in respect shown by Sonja to Ramona versus LuAnn. Sonja finally told the truth this episode about why; it's jealousy. LuAnn's blog was poorly written with tons of errors but she didn't get really grimy with Sonja even though Sonja deserves it big time. 3 Link to comment
izabella June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Sonja needs to take a closer look in the mirror and see that her "sexy pucker" makes her looks like she's constipated. Sonja is so full of delusions that she's pathetic and I'd feel sorry for her, except that she defrauded people out of a lot of money and she's been dragging her heels on paying those debts which she's been legally ordered to do. She's loathsome and brought this all on herself. And she's hella jealous of Luann. Her jealousy and hostility is palpable, and I'm glad Luann finally said she's just done with Sonja. 4 Link to comment

ryebread June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 From Lu's blog: I know she's going through hard times, but I learned a long time ago to get rid of people who are jealous to make room for well wishers. Is 'well wisher' some kind of new age term that I missed because I don't pay attention to Oprah? Like The Gift's- Ask, Believe, Receive? (or whatever it was.) I mean, I know it's a noun with a true definition. But the way Aviva throws it around - and now seeing Lu use it, makes me wonder if it's some sort of movement that's based on a self help book or something. 6 Link to comment
trimthatfat June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 I don't get Carole's wardrobe at all. I thought it was hilarious when Carole showed up in a gown and pigtails for the hike. It was just so random that I couldn't help but smile. I felt for Kristen during the geocache activity. If I were her and saw everyone losing interest fast, I'd tell them they could back to the cabin and I'd finish the activity with whoever wanted to stay with me. I felt like she was making the situation far more dramatic than it needed to be by insisting everyone work together. They didn't want to, so let them be. 3 Link to comment
mwell345 June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Just some general comments If Aviva is going to continually miss these trips and be excluded from the opening sequences, then her apple needs to be taken away permanently and given back to LuAnn. Hopefully, that is getting ready to happen. Sonja continues annoy me. I used to like her so much, now I find her obnoxious. Heather needs to stop being such an expert on everything. Kristen asked them NOT to talk to her, and Heather wouldn't shut up. I thought she might be trying to undermine her too. Clearly, Heather wanted to show everyone up. And her behavior at the hunt thing was ridiculous. She looked like a real jerk. This show isn't doing it for me anymore. It's a shame because I used to love it. 4 Link to comment
ElderPrice June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Here in the Adirondacks geocaching is a big thing. You get GPS coordinates and a clue and you're off. The first clue leads to another clue and so on until you reach the prize. It's boring as hell. I went on a geocaching trip once. Five hours poking around the woods going from rock to tree to tree to rock to reach the Grand Prize- a battery. There are lots of people who love it but once was enough for me. I can't blame the women for getting surly, they were probably hoping to get to the end already before death's sweet release. But Kristin, STFU already. I like you but my patience with the constant whining and crying, like my patience with a tedious geocaching trip, is wearing thin. 7 Link to comment
islandgal140 June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 LuAnn is being unreasonable. Luann is an ol' G and she knows the game and how this shit works! Luann isn't mad that the facialist was asked about HW, in particular herself. Luann is fuming at the larger picture. Luann is furious that Sonja set up this storyline and invited this non gold apple holding, non-cast member to come on the show and take shit about her. There is very little that is organic about this show. Before the season starts, HW sit down with production and discuss what their s/l is going to be for the season, the shooting schedule and who is shooting with whom. This wasn't a spontaneous scene. It was planned. Luann is just fuming that Sonja's grubby little hands orchestrated this. Luann is angry that it was premeditated and thought out with intent to humiliate and shame her on the one hand. On the other, affirm Sonja's self proclaimed status as a sexual siren wanted by all men. Plus I think Luann feels blindsided because she hasn't done anything to Sonja to warrant such a "takedown." None of this is seems based on Luann having actually done anything to Sonja in the past. Sonja just seems out to get Luann for no good reason other than envy. Sonja didn't correct it because she wants people to think of Luann as "LuMan" the Amazon woman barbarian dominatrix because Sonja is the sexy little minx who is oh so tiny . HA! Sonja wants to be the Blanche Devereaux to Luann's Dorothy Zbornak. Funny how Kristen always feels like she is in the middle. Maybe because your ass is inserting yourself there. Even when she isn't a part of things she tries to be. Case in point, confronting Aviva about not wanting to take sides in bookgate when nobody was thinking or asking her ass about shit! Girl stop! Everytime some talks of being bored, I think of a Betty Draper line from Man Men, "Only boring people are bored." I was bored by these episodes because more than half the cast act like they don't want to be there. If they ain't feeling it, how am I supposed to? 16 Link to comment
ryebread June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 Heather needs to stop being such an expert on everything. I think it's great that Heather is so athletic and competitive. That's probably the only thing I can relate to her about. But she just needs to stawp putting it in everyone's face. Surfing, mudrunning, working out - the list is long in what she's shown us - and tells us - she excels in. Looks like next week she kills it while hatchet throwing. Can't wait to see more humble from Heather. Five hours poking around the woods going from rock to tree to tree to rock to reach the Grand Prize- a battery. LOL - a battery? Long before I knew what geo cache-ing was, at the zoo I found a ziplock bag tucked under the slide with a couple foreign coins and some other random stuff. It looked like it had been there a long, long time. My son liked the coins so I let him have them. Once I learned about geo cache it made me wonder if I ruined hours and hours of fun for someone. Or a whole group of someones. Lesson learned. 3 Link to comment
TVFan17 June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 As with all of the casts of all of the Real Housewives shows in any city, I find myself unable to pick one person I really like and stick with that person all the way through the series, through every conflict. I constantly go back and forth on the matter. During one season -- or, hell, even one episode -- I might see a conflict break out and think, "Okay, [fill in the blank with the name of any random Housewife] is making sense right now. I think I like her best. She has her head on straight." And in the blink of an eye I find myself saying about that same Housewife, "She is a mess. This situation is all her fault and I can't stand her." Sometimes I like Heather, Other times I think she is too in-your-face. Sometimes I like Carole. Sometimes she bugs me. I was liking Kristen, and now she is bothering me. I used to like Sonja, but now I think she is a walking parody. Right now I like Luann more than the rest of them, but that will inevitably change before the season is over. Because so many of these scenarios (good and bad) are orchestrated or simply encouraged by the people behind the scenes, I would really love to see which ladies are true, genuine friends or enemies when the cameras are not rolling, and I'd love to hear what their real, off-camera conversations are like when they don't have anyone kind of "guiding" them along in the background. 5 Link to comment
Grneyedldy June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 <snip> Still not missing one bit of Aviva. Please let the next tip be exotic enough for Sonja and in even higher elevation for Aviva. Katmandu anyone??? Hahaha funny, but I would hate to see all the luggage Ramona's poor sherpa would have to carry and Sonja's poor sherpa would have to hear about Sonja's skanky pantiless ass all the way up the mountain. 2 Link to comment
Midnight Cheese June 25, 2014 Share June 25, 2014 (edited) Part of Carole's blog this week, about Sonja and LuAnn: Sonja is drinking. Again.Sonja brings up a sore subject. Again. A brief recap: Sonja invited her facialist home to facialize her and Kristen's skin. The facialist repeated mean gossip about LuAnn. (About my ex, too!) And then Sonja continued to flame the gossip. Sonja is not my good friend, so I don't care. But LuAnn does, and she should, they've been friends for a decade. Sonja listens to her facialist go on and on about Lu's alleged sexual positions with short French men without saying, "Hey, I don't like people repeating gossip about my friend." Maybe the facialist would think twice about repeating it to her next client? Sonja is not a girls-girl.I find myself having to explain very simple constructs, but I love doing it in my vintage purple silk walking gown. That's how I roll out west. Sonja is jealous of LuAnn, she even agrees. Lu has alimony and her Hamptons house. She can shop and has no legal issues. Sonja has cold water, clingy creditors, and a house in France she can't unload. Still. . .that is not the trust of a friend having your back. Yes. People do talk about Sonja! I haven't heard the one about the lopsided boobs, but you should hear all the gossip flying around the Beauty Industry about her divorce. It's like a Danielle Steel novel, with faraway places and betrayals and even a French man, allegedly. LuAnn has heard it. We've all heard it. But because S-Sexy J-ya is a friend of ours (sort of) we don't repeat it or let others repeat it because that's not nice. Why is this concept so confusing to Sonja? You guys get it. Right? http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-6/blogs/carole-radziwill/carole-montana-aint-for-p?page=0,0&cid=related_blog Oh. I remember reading years ago that Sonja got herself divorced because she was in Europe and playing around when her husband had a cancer scare and he called for her to come home, but she didn't. I wonder if any of her playmates were French? I wonder also if Sonja would like this Beauty Industry gossip put on-camera and resuscitated so that any friends and family and strangers who like her or hate her could hear over 3 episodes? I'm sure she would say it was fine. Extended Sonja/LuAnn fight clip. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-6/videos/extended-fight-luann-vs-sonja I know these shows are always YMMV but I am seriously at a loss as to how anyone can like Sonja Morgan. She is a total delusional asshole. Edited June 25, 2014 by Midnight Cheese 8 Link to comment
