Exactly! How is that possible unless it was liquid benadryl.  If she's so allergic why doesn't she carry an Epi pen?  I have one and my allergies to insect stings aren't as severe as she describes hers. It's just difficult to imagine.  

I gotta give her one thing.  Bethenny is taking her job very seriously. She's all in as she would say. Nothing is too sacred for her to use for her character.  Man......I must say, it makes for good reality tv.

Not defending Ramona but actually I think she had the money not Mario.  She ran a business with clothing and large discount clearance outfits.  I could be wrong but if my memory is correct she made millions buying and selling closeout stuff that winds up in discount stores.  However, Ramona doesn't respect anyone.

I know I am in the minority here but I see Bethenny grieving after losing a true friend (does she have a lot of those?).  She may not have been able to decide if he was her fiance/former-fiance/ex-boyfriend, friend but he truly was one of those old friends that just "gets" her.

I don't think she realized how much she was bringing up Dennis and had an "a-ha!" moment in the car.  Sometimes you have to wait for things to bubble up to the surface before you are truly aware of them.  Once you are aware, you can move on so hopefully she will be able to do that now.

Also, I always thought that Dorinda's quip about dating John for the dry cleaning was a joke.  (Do people take that seriously?)

While I thought that the ladies went in pretty hard at Tinsley, and it really is none of their business if she is still in any kind of relationship with Scott, I can kind of understand where they are coming from.  They just approached the subject the wrong way.

I also think there was something or more that we didn't see or hear regarding Tinsley and Scott.  These women have listened to Tinsley moan and cry over her lost relationship, hardly an episode went by that she wasn't either crying or talking about Scott.  

I think that the unholy trio of Ramona, Sonja and Dorinda are convinced, for whatever reason, that there is still a relationship between Tinsley and Scott, and that Tinsley is playing to the cameras over a fake storyline.  I get the vibe that they feel that Tinsley is lying to them, and they were trying to get her to admit that.  

I'm not a real big fan of Tinsley's, as I find her to be a vapid twit most of the time, but she is generally kind and not at all any kind of pot stirrer or trouble maker*,  so, I also think the other three really have no business going in on her the way they did.  It was just mean.

As far as Tinsley's finances and the questions regarding her expensive fashions, etc. - that's a bunch of b.s. and it should not have been mentioned.  I don't know if it still happens, but don't designers "loan" dresses and apparel to certain individuals - celebrities, social ladies, etc., for a mention in their IG's, Twitter, or hopefully, a photo with a name mention?  Tinsley may have renewed any relationships with designers she may have had, and is "borrowing" clothes for the show.  

ETA:  *This could also be the reason she will not be invited back - she doesn't cause trouble, get in trouble, scream, yell, pick up pirates, sleep with random guys in a group house, doesn't display overly obnoxious drunken behavior - basically, she's a pretty face that's kind of boring for this show.

I was curious as to why Dorinda went after Tinsley that way, but, it was Tinsley who took Dorinda aside at the party to confront her.  She didn't know what Dorinda was saying in her cameos.  But, it occurred to me that Dorinda may be giving Tinsley a storyline to stay on the show.  If she's broke, living in a smaller place and single, she might be let go from the show.......OH, WAIT a minute.  That's Sonja's storyline!!!! So, they may not be able to keep two on the show who share that storyline.  AND, this thing with Scott will give them something to fight over at the reunion.  These ladies have to drum it up and I don't really believe that Dorinda cares about Scott and Tinsley or if they are really still seeing each other, he's supporting her, buying her gifts.......it's just something for verbal banter, imo.

That's a really good analysis except for the talking head where Dorinda was snarky and mean about it.   That's what makes me doubt this was staged but who knows....it's reality tv, not reality.

I'm guessing this may be a pretty serious relationship, as I don't recall her ever buying any real estate with anyone before, well, except for that stupid show with Fredrik from MDLNY.

Wonder how that all will play out next season.

I'm rewatching this episode while emptying the dishwasher (big fun) 😂. While replaying scenes from the previous episode, Luann offers up that insincere apology...I'm sorry IF.

Do any of the housewives know how to give a true apology? How can anyone accept responsibility for their actions when the say if? I think they all need a class on how to give a proper apology.

I also noticed when Kyle was apologizing to EJ she said I'm sorry IF. At least Teddi said I'm sorry THAT.

Tins said she was getting a vibe from Dorinda and wanted to nip it. It was very clear Dorinda and Sonja were going to confront her at that party so Dorinda was already prepared for what she was going to say. Tinsley just initiated it first. Make no mistake, it would have happened either way.

In Bethany's defense, allergies are unpredictable.  It seems like she has always been allergic to fish, but her reactions have been on the mild side and easily fixed by Benadryl in the past.  She would not have had an epi-pen before this because she did not need it.  Now she does, but she learned this the hard way.  I assume she is now carrying one at all times.

You would think that someone with moderate to severe food allergies, that eats out as often as she does, would carry an epi-pen or at least Benadryl. But, I also would expect someone who travels as often as she does, and still gets her period, to keep a backup stash of feminine hygiene products in her travel bag. I do, and I don't travel Nearly as often as she does.

Dorinda is a mean mess. Personally, I know I'd have a hard time being good friends with Tinsley. She's super immature and doesn't seem to have any real - in my opinion - grown up goals for herself. I'd have a really tough time respecting her. That said, even if Dorinda is annoyed by Tinsley's whatever tf it is with Scott, why on earth be PERSONALLY offended? It's not your business and it's certainly not your fucking problem. New low for Dorinda, in my mind. She must be a terribly unhappy person for someone else's life to bother her this much. John scored more likability points with me with his reaction to Ramona asking him about the cake than he has in years of appearing on this show with Dorinda. Maybe THEY should date. I'm just saying. There's chemistry there.

Speaking of Ramona, I got a real kick out of Lu's reaction to Ramona freaking out about the "sacrilegious" candles. "Then don't buy one." Haha, that's the Lu I like.

I'm sure I'll be in a corner alone on this, but I got what Beth was saying about Dennis pulling her. I felt similarly after losing an ex of mine years ago when I got into a minor car accident. IMO, it's not at all about the ex wanting you so badly or anything, it's about your own grief and depression and there's a little bit of maybe it would just be better if I died too. It's your own brain working shit out in the worst way possible. I get it. 

I'm beyond pissed that this season was so short while that mess Beverly Hills has been going on for what seems like an entire year. Wtf?

I might be in that corner with you were it not for Beth's brain working shit out is working shit out for the only purpose of:  "HE WAS SO IN LOVE WITH ME" that he basically may have killed himself through a drug overdose, is sending messages from the grave, and pulling her towards him.  I've never seen someone grieve in such a narcissistic way.

The other thing that bothers me is how she seems to be his fiance when it suits her grief and need for attention.  Other times she was dating multiples and he was just her "person" i.e., someone she loved, just not in that way.

Yep and yep!  I have bad seasonal allergies, which result in a reaction nothing like what B was describing, but I carry Benadryl all the time in case I start getting hives or something like that.  I am also approaching that time of life, and always have products for a surprise "monthly" (or weekly, or every two weeks, or every six weeks) visit with me.

Funny how quickly Tinsley can recognize how unfair it is for a group of women coming to come at her but hasn't yet recognized that she was guilty of doing that to Lu in Miami. at her but didn't see her own behaviour when she partook in it in Miami. Tinsley has brought up Scott and then when asked questions, she says she doesn't want to talk about it. Well then you don't talk about it either with these women. That said, I don't think Dorinda or Sonja are bringing up Scott with any good interest for Tinsley. I think they're trying to get dirt to support their theory that Tinsley is continuing to be Scott's doormat while she enjoys all the gifts and expensive things he spoils her with.

It's very clear that the group of women love to be able to come together and talk smack about a common person. They all seemed gleeful talking about Lu the night before and I thought their recount of the night with Lu was unfair because I thought they were also disorganized. They stood around waiting for a while before they went to the dressing room to see what was up. They should have done that much earlier. I don't know how high strung Lu is when getting ready backstage so it's likely that she still wouldn't have been able to interact much with them even if they had entered her dressing room with 30 minutes to spare before showtime however, they kept stressing how quickly they were dismissed from the room and that had a lot to do with entering 10 minutes before showtime and Lu hadn't even gotten into her dress yet. Also, Lu's outfit at the party looked like Britney Spears circa 2000, what was up with that?

Surprised to see that Bethenny bought a home with Paul in Boston. Maybe this is a case of finally finding the right person at an unexpected time or maybe Dennis' death has taught her that she needs to be vulnerable and take risks because you never know how long you have with the people in your life. From what I can see from the reunion previews, I really like Bethenny's outfit. She at a quick glance appears to be the best dressed...in fact, it was the only outfit I saw that I remotely liked.

Tinsley seems like the richest one (besides obviously Bethenny).

This is what I think too. Dorinda and Sonjia can’t imagine life without a man taking care of them so the fact that Tinsley isn’t actively stalking a new benefactor means she’s still with Scott.

Tinsley made money before the show from other projects. She was the only NY Housewife  that I knew before the show. Besides, what would be her reason for keeping Scott on the downlow? If they were together why not just admit it? 

Dorinda’s just a very unpleasant person who is determined to be unhappy and to make others unhappy. She looks good though. Middle age agrees with her.

I like him as well.  He deserves better than Dorinda.

Desperation.  BH is trying so hard to be funny, it’s pathetic.  They just can’t pull it off like New York and they know it.  You either have it or not.  Not to be mean, but I can’t stand any one on BH.  Too rich and spoiled.  I LOVE everyone on N.Y., even conceited Luann, haha.  Just my opinion to all the BH fans.  No offense.

This happened to a friend of mine.  She now has 2 epi-pens with her at all times.  She nearly died and too was in ICU.  This hit her in her 50's.

I took that to mean he left the room/left mid-attack to  go into whatever room the benadryl was kept -- I keep that kind of stuff in either the bathroom or a shelf in my linen closet.

I assumed his face was frozen into a rictus of faux delight because once he heard the first tone-deaf note out of the countess, he went temporarily deaf and didn't want anyone to notice.  Is hysterical deafness a thing? Because if it is, this is a portrait of it.

I'm guessing this may be a pretty serious relationship, as I don't recall her ever buying any real estate with anyone before, well, except for that stupid show with Fredrik from MDLNY.

As a longtime Bethany fan, I’m going to say not well. She’s probably going through hormonal changes, still in the middle of a brutal divorce and custody battle, and in mourning. My guess is she’s grabbing onto anything that seems stable. I’ve known people who have done all manner of unhealthy shit while mourning. Getting married, quitting jobs, getting involved in scams, cults, addiction, whatever. Grief is an unruly beast. My guess is things will fall apart with Paul in a year or two.
