And lastly, is it just me, or does GG's divorce lawyer look like MJ's double?  That must be awkward, if she bothers to notice the resemblance.

I honestly at 1st thought it was GG's sister and they finally made up.

Is there not a new episode tonight ?

Well.  I forgot that last week's ep was...last week; the heart is a funny thing.  I knew that MJ's dad was gone, and that there would be an episode, but just like Jack's death on This is Us, I didn't want to sit through it.  But, tonight, I watched.

I think I was doing okay until Sammy walked in.  Just the sight of her old friend, I was wrecked.  I think MJ looks beautiful with "no" makeup (and she should keep the short hair!).

Never loved Mike so well as his joking, gentle demeanor at the bridal shop.  She chose rightly, to have those two big bumbling goofball Persians with her.  Because even though it's been three years, how well I know: the remembering that your baba joon is gone, often comes at you out of nowhere, like a giant hole in the ground that sucks you under and takes your breath.

See?  I'm weeping and not making any sense.

Rest in peace, Javid Shah.

As she prepares for her Bridal Bath in Palm Springs, Calif., MJ continues to deal with the loss of her father and becomes frustrated with Tommy's lack of participation in planning their wedding; Reza invests a large sum of money into his business.

Airs September 6, 2018.

I'm watching the "marathon" leading up to tonights new episode. I sure hope I don't have to see any more ass cracks. It's getting boring.

I'm happy for MJ and Tommy. I hope it lasts. MJ is very demanding (of other people) emotionally, psychologically....but I think Tommy really loves her and can handle MJ's craziness. And I know I'm in the minority here but I like MJ, GG: NO. Asa:NO AND....I have always liked Jessica even tho she's wiped her hands (and soul) clean of this gaggle of "friends", I've always found her to be the most calm, rational, classy person of this group.

Reza stepped up for MJ in this episode. He definitely is a true friend to her for being there for her in this hard time.

I can't stomach Nema. A total tool and he's not even a looker. Selfish POS.

GG needs to get with a guy that can understand her emotional rollercoasters LOL!

After last week's sorrow, it was great to have some low-key scenes.  And for the first time ever: I really liked Vida.

I didn't mind her scolding about the porno-prezzies.  As MJ pointed out, She's *that kind of mom.  I would've been flabbergasted (and squicked out) if she had (for example) demonstrated the cuffs.

Ohhhh Reza...half a mil, and you don't tell Adam?  Sure, I know why, but he's your husband now, fer crissakes.  Not your side piece.

Nema has grown on me, I think he is really funny. His TH's are great, I like his self deprecating humour. Something none of those other ego maniacs have. GG could do worse. GG has done worse.

MJ is an attention whore. Every damn time she had to go change her outfit everyone squealed with pleasure when she walked back in to the room. Just the way she demands it. Oh, and that bathing suit was hideous.

Who does not discuss a $500,000 business deal with your spouse? I don't care if it's all Reza's hard earned money. These are issues that need to be dealt with and discussed in a marriage. Even if Reza would have decided to go ahead with it, he still should have had the conversation with Adam before doing it. Adam must really want babies if he's going to put up with that level of disrespect.

Jessica was the only down to earth one in this bunch, and that is saying a lot, and only because she is a nurse. I found her to be kind of annoying and way too obsessed with pleasing Mike

Wow. I felt like we just watched Reza self sabotage his life with investing 500k with those charlatans. It felt like a con. Either we were being conned and this is all scripted or Reza is being conned. Who goes to all that development expense for a partner that hasn't committed to investing or participating? But if it is actually for real, I worry for Adam. I hope the hair thing takes off and does what Reza explained it will do: passive income while they bring up their twins, but I don't know if he was justifying after the fact. It certainly feels like it.

MJ in a bathing suit was a lot. I love MJ and I totally understand her dissociated behavior at this time, having just lost my own father. I wonder how much of  this she will remember though because she really looks like she's mixing anti anxiety stuff with alcohol MORE than usual to me. Especially during the gift opening when the argument with Tommy started and she just drifted off with "I'm a woman that can stand on my own two feet" and threatening to pull the wedding. There was a collective gasp from the room, but she just wafted past that emotion. I like that Tommy seems to get her and what's happening and remains calm. You could tell he authentically doesn't want to wear a ring because it will bother him and not because it signifies he is married. He was perfectly happy to get a tattoo instead. Somehow she turned that into a fight as well.

Vida looked like she'd used eye liner on her lower lip. I REALLY enjoyed Vida ticking off the young uns for their phone addiction. And later for objecting to them all making a big deal of the gift from Golnesa. It was hilarious that they all piled on Sherv the perv as the one responsible for this outrage.

Nema looked weedy in the pool. And smitten with Golnessa. I still think Mona has a weird affect, similar to Mike's new boo. She should run. Girl should have driven Mike's car off when he asked her to wait in it. It's Mike. Anyone should run.

A half a million investing WITH partners in a men's? hair care business! Good luck Reza.

MJ in that bathing suit! Lol. But I like that she feels comfortable with her body. She's a big girl but her weight is evenly distributed and she has nice skin.

Nema...I don't know whose idea it was to add him to the cast but he is so not interesting and comes across like a total elmer dumbfuck.  Now we get to see GG make an ass of him by playing along like she's interested.

The shampoo has been produced and was supposed to be available starting August 2.  I checked on Amazon and they have it listed but so far they have not actually stocked it.

I don't feel sorry for Adam at all. He knew who he was marrying and I think part of him wanted a sugar daddy. There's something about him that I don't like/trust, but not sure what it is. Reza also probably made him sign a prenup that says I can do what the fuck I want with the money I earn.

It really did feel like a con.  There was a weird look in the eyes of the couple.  He said they are 50/50 - so this hair crap costs a million dollars to create?  Either this was all set up for the show, or there is some BS going on...

No, he really doesn't, but he's always been delusional re his mass appeal.  He doesn't get that many people watch the show but really don't LIKE him.  And the hair care market is saturated already.  Oh, and did we even SEE the other couple's $500,000 investment?  Or did they just SAY they had invested.

I'm not enjoying so much Vida. She does not need to be at every event. I didn't like her when she was a stealth bitch to her daughter. Criticizing, demeaning and taking the lowest of blows to MJ's self esteem to the point of MJ being in tears. Hair, makeup, clothes, weight, boyfriends, cooking. Nothing ever good enough.  Now,  she's posing as the caring, loving mama who is there to support her daughter.  How many times does MJ have to pull her aside so they can chat one on one about how wonderful Vida is for being there for her? Give me a break. Now that she is old and alone she wants to be the mother she never was before. MJ is the mess that she is today because of her mother. Whew! I'm glad I got that off my chest!!

Their company makes the stuff so it would be weird to write themselves a check. From their website it sounds like they basically produce vanity lines. I have never once looked at Reza’s hair and said that’s a look that should be emulated!

I may have to rewatch that part of the episode again.  I mean he's going on and on about "BedHead" and two private jets and for a moment I thought the BedHead guys had approached him (can't leave these conversations for a second).  I wonder if these people also are responsible for Kenya Moore's hair care line as well.  I haven't really heard it mentioned on RHoA lately so I was wondering if it had gone the way of the Dodo.  Like Asa's "Diamond Water".

Reza really believed he was going to be on a par with BedHead, Redken, etc.?

Agree re: the con.  The whole situation just seems so shady.  Even they way they met at the dog park and the lady was like "You have nice hair, ever think of making your own shampoo?" is like right out of Leverage.  And the $500k initial investment seems really steep. I wonder if Reza shopped around since it doesn't seem like making shampoo was an idea he had rather than an idea that was brought to him.  I hope it all just sounds hinky because the story was made up to shoehorn it into the show.

The company he's working with might be legit.  From a video on their website it appears they make some TIGI products like Bedhead and It's a 10, but I also think the owner of LaDove, Sheree (aka the lady Reza was talking to), is a part owner of TIGI.  It's hard to find a lot of info on them.  I found an article from 2001 saying they'd make a personalized skincare regime for you for $25k (that's just dev, products are extra).  They have 2 shitty reviews on Glassdoor specifically calling out Sheree for caring more about jet setting than running the business.  And there are a few interviews with Sheree pimping out lines I think she has a stake in, label.m and Rikoko, both of which I think might be bigger in the UK than the US, but I'm not sure about that.  Every interview I took the time to click on she kind of skirted around what brands they make and talked a lot of blah blah blah and mentioned only TIGI, label.m, and Rikoko. Label.m and Rikoko both appear to be available at some beauty supplies and the products that have reviews generally have good ones.

I adore  you for this and commend your dedication to the cause. We can be some sleuthing board batches when we think WE are being sold a bill of goods as viewers. This sounds worse than I thought, they REALLY are profiting from the weaknesses of others: vain people with a lot of money, so reality stars would constitute a large percentage of that demographic. The company sounds like it provides the lifestyle Reza aspires to (he was breathless about their private jets) to the principles, this woman Sheree and her husband, but they'd be the only ones. They probably have a plan, for another small investment, when it all goes tits up and you need to get your failed product distributed through the discount outlets.

Mike and his brothers: I feel kinda sorry for the dentist brother, and his poor hoodie. Both Mike and the other more typical (for this show) Persian brother were giving him a hard time with the zipper, like it's some fashion error he always makes. When the older brother turned up, looking like another version of Mike: the manscaping, the gym rat body, Mike HAD to make a comment about his 'Terminator' attire. As soon as he said that, I felt that Mike feels threatened by this particular brother, so of course he disses him, because that's all Mike has in his superficial world view arsenal. Wonder how the baby shoes/adult shoes/garbage removal empires are going for Mike? The winner of the Shaheid (sp?) brothers is probably going to be the poor bald dentist, unless Mike and the other manage to get him investing his money in their legacy plans. I DO recall the dentist's graduation and Mike's TH about that saying he wishes he could have stuck it out in college and he's feeling it now that he sees his own brother and other peers moving out into the world as professionals. But as long as Mike continues to feel he's #winning and his metric for success continues to be how many 'hos' with hair down to their trampstamp (Reza's assessment, not mine!), he can continue to get away with bedding, he'll be spinning his wheels and wondering why. I'm surprised to find Mike living in a real house. I'm surprised to find MJ in one too, frankly.

MJ: of all the reality shows I watch, I have to give it to MJ for letting it all hang out. Literally, in this episode with the bathing suit. It's powerful to see her owning her voluptuous figure and to see her marry a man who obviously loves her and the way she looks. I get her issue with Asa and how irritating it must have been for MJ that Asa continued to protect her privacy. I did love Asa, but I have to say, I've not noticed her absence this season. So maybe it was a good decision. I did like the love between all the cast and was sorry for the ruction between her and MJ though. I wish her well. Destiney is still not doing it for me. And there is still something off about Nema and Mona.

I say, if she's ready to be "the mother she never was before" -- bring it on.

"Old and alone" is a shitty thing to be.  If the fear of that is her motive for supporting MJ, who cares. Never too late to make amends for the past.  Here's hoping she keeps doing it.

I agree @voiceover and having just lost my beloved father, it has certainly improved the relationship between my mother and sister and I. Something really shifts in a family at a death like this, for all the reasons you've written above. And it's not a time for blame or holding onto grudges. MJ is getting married, Vida now likes Tommy and is supporting the marriage. She'll continue to be painful and have her opinion, but I think she has really responded to the love she gets from MJ's friend group to and it has been a little wake up call for her, maybe she sees how she has a role amongst this generation. Her THs this episode, with her lecturing these youngsters seemed to have her in her happy place. I'm glad for MJ that she has this and it's what her father would have wanted for her.

I agree with all of you posters who thought that MJ was a bit much for her bathing suit. She was. I do have to admire her self confidence to wear it. I also didn’t care for the white outfit she chose for the present opening part of the celebration. I think she has no real style sense. Usually her clothes are a little too small or her massive breasts are hanging out.

The shampoo thing seemed really shady. But Reza had to have a done a lot of research right? You just don’t give 500k without a lot of thought, research, and consideration? And I hope he made up the park story because he thinks it sounded cute, because otherwise it sounds like a con artist couple looking for their next scam. And there have to be lawyers and contracts involved, right, and they just did the check scene for the show?

How could Reza not tell Adam that he made such a huge investment? Honestly, to me that would be grounds for divorce!

They are not charlatans. I looked them up. They are very, very successful business people. I do agree with others that it is probably for a possible spin off and also to dredge up some drama between Reza and his husband.

Destiny had a lot more patience than me when Mike's girlfriend was giving her unsolicited dating advice. Girl, STFU. I'm in my 30s too and guarded with my heart like Destiny and also picky about who I date, and have had enough dating experiences to know what I want and don't want, and if some chick in her 20s with horrible taste in men started lecturing me on seizing the day when it comes to dating and blah blah, I'd feel like bitch slapping her.
