The story about Carole’s departure is up on the Bravo website.  It references focusing on projects more suited to her {superior} nature.  It was funny tonight, when once again, she claimed to be very busy with “.........” things.

Bless her heart, if she really had something in the works she could have used it as a storyline a la Kyle on BH.  Oh wait,  she’ll never complete it to promote it.  

The other funny line in the Bravo piece referenced her “major” accomplishments this year like having her essay published in Cosmo and, of course, “running the Marathon” [read in Ronnie & Ben’s voices from the Watch What Crappens Podcast].

I blame Scott. Tins only has a glam squad because he is paying for it. She certainly didn't have one last year when there was no Scott around. It is obvious what she sees in him, I just can't figure out what he sees in her. 

I laughed when Carole showed up at Sonja's room and Sonja asked why she wasn't ready. Considering Carole was wearing a nightgown and housecoat, I don't know how Sonja knew she wasn't wearing that to dinner, since nightclothes seem to be her choice for evening clothes lately. I also thought it was quite obvious that the reason she brought Sonja earrings is to try to make Beth jealous, since Carole sees that Beth and Sonja are getting along. Carole is so grade school mean girl, I am embarrassed for her.

Carole has approached it directly, but Bethenny continues to lie and obfuscate. Carole has told Bethenny that she's heard from others that Bethenny has an issue with Carole's level of interest in Bethenny's charity work and Adam asking to be compensated. And Carole has said that she has an issue with Bethenny talking to everyone else about why she upset with Carole instead of talking directly to Carole. It's not actually all that complicated, but Bethenny is so fundamentally manipulative that her refusal to deal with their friendship honestly is what torpedoed the friendship.

Bethenny has become Jill. The student has become the master.

Did Ramona just reveal that Carole came on Galapagos trip as a favor to Bethenny because someone cancelled and Carole paid her own way?

Carole was trying to diplomatically ease Dorinda into the idea that she might have a problem with alcohol.

Thanks for reminding me of this. When Carole went on about how she couldn't understand how Beth was upset, given all she has, I just shook my head. She knows better than anyone what Beth went through with Jason, the divorce, and the restraining order against him because he was stalking Bethenny. So now from what I understand the restraining order is about to come to an end. On top of it Beth had great responsibilities with her companies, etc. not to mention the big undertaking of her charity work. Carole is the one with no worries. No ex husband. No child. No job. All she has is an ex boytoy who has moved on to greener pastures. Whaa. I really think if Carole hadn't decided to leave (assuming that she did) that she would not have been asked back anyway.

Yes, the  ladies do seem to be staging a mutiny against B.  Wonder what she thought of all of the drama queen talking heads and lack of sympathy in tonight’s episode, in her own talking head she even mentioned the joke that fell flat.  Must suck for her and it is very deserved.

Dorinda is not a mean nasty "drunk", she is a mean and nasty person. When she is sober she is able to cover it up, she is very manipulative.  However, when she drinks or does "whatever" she can not control herself and exposes the real Dorinda.  Dorinda could go to rehab and remain sober for the rest of her life but she will always be a nasty piece of work.

Suck for her?  Carole’s leaving.  Take notes Ramona you could be next.  If you look at the history it is not Bethenny that leaves.  My guess is that Ramona thinks her best option is to buddy up with Dorinda for next season.  Dorinda will be looking for a partner now that her current buddy is leaving.  I can tell you from SM that Luann is in contact with Bethenny off season.  Ramona could try to be Tinsley’s new bestie.  Hahahaha, I would love to see that.

Let me admit two things first:

1. I like Bethenny most of the time. I think she is funny and smart even though she is a pain in the ass and is very often a huge hypocrite. The show would not be the same for me without her. I would not want to be her friend but I like watching her on this show.

2. Bethenny was a disaster on this trip and should have stayed home. I 100% agree that they other women had every right to be annoyed and exhausted by her endless histrionics.

BUT Carole was a stone cold jerk with her throwaway line about how Bethenny has a great life and that she, Carole, could not even fathom what could make someone with such a great life so upset. Even if Bethenny was not in the middle of a contentious custody battle (which she is also partly to blame for), this is a ridiculous statement from Carole. Life is hard and people have a right to be sad or upset or overwhelmed or emotional over things even if they have money and a nice apartment and their health. Bethenny was 100% correct tonight when she said Carole was “too cool” for her because Carole never seems to feel anything. Or she at least likes to pretend that she doesn’t and then projects that into not being able to understand when someone else does feel something.

There's a book called "I Hate You--Don't Leave Me: Understanding the Borderline Personality". I never read it but I love the title. LOL  Anyway, it reminds me of Bethenny.

I get that she's genuinely bereaving her lost friendship. But she needs to ask herself - why would anyone want to remain friends with someone who always wants to play defense and offense? There are no winners in that type of relationship. Her deep rooted lack of trust is exhausting. That said Carole is no prize either. For someone who has been relentless in showing how laid back and above-it-all she is: why would she bring up their strained relationship during a group dinner? Yeah, I know it's standard HW practice but it just seemed so passive-aggressive.

They already filmed the reunion and Andy seemed surprised to hear about the texts. The reunion is going to be a bloodbath because Luann isn't there and Bethenny has done stuff to fuck each one of them over. By all accounts, everyone comes for Bethenny because Bethenny is a manipulative narcissist.

No question about this.

However, I think Dorinda, as much of an asshole as she is, said what they probably all feel -- Beth can be so nasty when it comes to dealing with their emotions that it's probably hard to feel compassion at times for her.  You get what you get.

I could see it happening. For Dorinda, it starts with slurring her words and gesticulating in a very animated way. When she does that, a nasty tirade directed at the nearest target is sure to follow shortly. I think Lu saw the signs and knew Mean Dorinda was about to come out, even though Dorinda hadn't said anything nasty at that point.

Well, apparently, according to Beth, she was hysterically crying at the dinner and Carole ignored her.  Flash back to the scene.  Sorry Beth.  You were not hysterically crying and you turned your head away from Carole when she said she was leaving.   Another example of the great exaggerator. 

Beth doesn't want to debate.  Why?  Because Beth is always right.  How do you resolve something without both sides expressing what they felt what happened.  And when Carole doesn't accept Beth's version, Beth starts yelling about court and lawyers.  This is why she doesn't have close relationships.

Note to Beth:  The girls aren't what they use to be (if they were ever).  You can't wear certain clothes anymore. 

Dennis - get me a plane.  Every second of my life is scheduled.  I have a custody battle.  The restraining order is up in a month.  Heck.  Grow up.  You can't get your own plane?  Why are you suing for full custody?  You're not going to win.  Change your schedule.  Maybe if you stop trying to 'win' you wouldn't frustrate your daughter's father so much.  He's as much your daughter's parent as you are.

For sure Dorinda was feeling her drinks, but Luann started that fracas.  Prior to that the ladies down that end of the table were just drinking and chatting.  

Luann:  How are the margaritas.

Dorinda:  What?  (Not aggressively.  It appeared she simply hadn't properly heard what had been said)

L:  She's startin.

D:  No, I'm not starting. Don't say that. You should start.

L:  Dorinda, you start turning.  (Here it sounded like Dorinda was denying it.)

L:  You start turning. Yes you do.  Lookit.  You're getting aggressive right now.

Then it escalated.

 

As for everything else that went on, all I can say is that the perimenopause and menopause phases can make for a rough time.   Out of the entire bunch, the only two  who probably aren't going through one or the other are Tinsley and Ramona.
