Shannon seems so emotionally ill-equipped for a reality show, especially a reality show that co-stars someone like Kelly Dodd. It's so uncomfortable watch a lot of the times because her emotions are barely contained at all points.

Also, I don't consider myself to be a paranoid person but David working out like a fiend while Shannon continues to spiral downward makes me wonder if he is cheating again. It's pretty clear from the way that Shannon dodged the sex question from the "holistic specialist" that she and David aren't having sex. He is surely getting it from somewhere.

I hate Kelly.   The way she speaks, her face, her craziness. . . all of her.   I feel terrible for Shannon.   Yep if she laid off the booze she'd drop weight fast.  But, I suspect she uses booze to deal with the fact that she is no longer in a house that is "all natural", a rental, still has trouble with her husband, and now has gained a bunch of weight.

 Best part of the show was Lydiot , thank you for that nickname BTW, smoothing the ratchet ass fried sticking up hair of Kelly Dodd in the bathroom. Kelly makes herself look cheap and crazy all on her own and she was stinking drunk ! Bravo this was a big mistake Kelly is awful . Misstep.

First of all Shannon, you are my hero. To go on TV and not only show your body but your weight takes a lot of guts. And then to go on and be vulnerable with all of the ladies, including the vile Kelly? Heartbreaking. Because Bravo has set you up to be the ongoing target for the mean girl. And I detest Bravo for it, as much as I detest Kelly. 

Peggy is an idiot. When Shannon tries to share why she built her house as she did, Peggy tells her to put in humidifiers. (I think that was her solution - my mouth was gaping open and I was a bit distracted). When Shannon shares the lies that were told about her husband, Peggy decides it is a joke. What a twit. And the way she turned her head when he hubby tried to kiss her tells me it is not all paradise in her relationship. STFU Peggy. 

So Vicki claims that an employee embezzled from her? That is her new storyline? So freezing and reading what was actually shown under the headline, Vicki did not bother filing charges against this employee. And the employee also poached clients from her son Michael. But Vicki only employed this person for two months. Sounds like another made up crisis, and Vicki is the victim once again. She is just too darn nice. I have a casserole in the oven as I type this.

She was trying to button her bottoms, retuck shirt, etc - you see her struggling with it for the longest time. PErsonally as someone with big boobs, I also have to move my shirt out the way and lower my head a whole bunch (as kelly did and was doing ) to see the fastens on my pants if I'm struggling to do it by touch alone. 

Not saying she wasn't drunk, but I don't think it was all just for show. Mostly for function - she had just used the bathroom (and didn't wash her hands)

Clearly, the vow renewal and "our marriage is better than ever" good will is over.  Shannon either knows David is cheating now or she realizes that he is never going to have a passionate love for her again and is either gas lighting her or sticking around tile the kids are 18.  And now his kids get to see how looney she is, they'll want to be with him if they divorce early.

And I felt for Shannon because I know how it feels to have life issue make you comfort eat.  I was in great shape before my husband's cancer diagnoses and comfort ate and gained a lot of weight.  But you can't make your weight problems be the front and center of every conversation.  I mean, let people know how upset you are, but don't make self-deprecating comments that sound angry all night or go home if you're too emotional.  I get that Kelly Dodd is a very mean person who'll make fat jokes, but don't start shit and expect a different result.  

I'm torn between being completely amused and completely horrified by the mental breakdown it seems like we're seeing.  Shannon, in one way, is somewhat brave to show her weight struggles. But the other side, I can't imagine being a teen and having personal problems of the parents on display for the world to see.  At some point, they'll be angry with them I think.

I thought it was interesting that not only did she dodge the question when the trainer asked how David felt about her weight, but she also said in her talking head "no way would i tell david" 

Um, hasn't david seen that you've gained weight?  I don't think it's a secret.

Shannon really needs to see a real doctor and therapist.  It is troubling that she has gained so much weight in such a short amount of time. It is possible that she may be just menopausal or she could have a thyroid disorder.  In any case Shannon is not emotionally stable and needs some intensive inpatient treatment.  There are some great facilities in California and Arizona that specialize in eating disorders.  She is lucky enough to have the financial resources to get the very best treatment.  Excessive weight gain or loss and substance abuse are symptoms of a larger problem.  Shannon is in a lot of emotional pain that has nothing to do with her weight.  She is trying so hard to hold it together but she is coming apart at the seams.

So while she is moping around and broadcasting her weight issues to everyone from putrid Kelly Dodd to the kid bagging her groceries, David is working out 24/7, rubbing his buff fitness in her face. And trolling for his next affair. I don't trust his smug face one bit. 

Shannon, get a grip. Turn your life around and leave his sorry, cheating ass and go get taken on some nice dates by decent men. Your husband is destroying you.

I just want Shannon to stop wearing those god awful super high heels with the stretchy shiny leggings. She wore the same heels & leggings in the last episode (maybe it was the same day, just edited) but the heels do her NO favors because she walks like her ankles are about to break at any moment. 

If you can't gracefully walk in 5/6inch heels, don't wear them, honey! 

 

And can we please stop acting like this weight came out of nowhere - she has been gradually gaining weight for the last 3 years. 

She was only super skinny in her first season, and the complaining about weight gain every season since! 

This is from 2015  (she said this was 15 pounds overweight at the time - yes I looked it up!) This was before the "vicki made me gain weight" excuse. 

 

This was last seasons reunion - more gaining. 

 

 

And here we are today
