I quit this show some time ago and only watched b/c what I wanted to watch was delayed by sports.

• Reza's play was pathetic. Was that opening night or a dress rehearsal? I ask b/c there were only six people in the audience and no one seemed to know their lines.
• I can't decide if Adam and Reza's fight was real or for the cameras. I swear I saw Reza (or was it Adam?) "breaking character" right before the camera switched to the other. That said, I have zero sympathy for Adam. He wanted to get married to this fame whore, he can live with it.
• What was with the Farsi(?) writing on M.J.'s wall that kinda looked like dripping blood? I thought her father had something terminal and was the hospital for hospice. Regardless, why is she bothering to drag her hag of  a mother along?
• I can't stand that Japanese party planner guy. Didn't he first used to appear on Anna Nicole Smith's candid reality show?
• Assa is so full of it! I may have injured my eyes from rolling them so hard when she compared being pregnant to nurturing a fledgling business.
• It must have been miserable having to wear (fake) furs and tuxes for that "white Xmas" party, and I'm not including the open fires.

I saw Gretchen in that final group picture of mostly women.  So she did make it on camera.  Didn't spot Slade, though.

As long as we're doing bulleted lists:

• Why does it make me laugh that Mike's uber-Persian mother is named Sue?
• I know that Reza thinks everyone's business is his business, but how delusional is he giving relationship advice as if all his ducks (or are those chickens?) are in a row?
• Adam may be dumb, but I don't think he's so sweet.  Like tends to attract like.
• I wrote a play about as sophisticated as that one when I was about seven. All my friends from the block were in it, and our parents watched from folding chairs in our yard.  I think we had a bigger crowd, and even the preschoolers in the cast didn't kid themselves into thinking we'd take it on the road.
• Please don't let this show be renewed.  I can't help watching, if only to see how much worse these people get every year.  So save me from myself, Bravo.  I'm tired of this crap.

Reza's self-financed play was PAINFUL.  Reza and Adam have a shit relationship (another thing's that's painful).  They should not have kids.  I.am.so.fucking.sick.of.Asa.  She was only on the screen for a hot minute and that was a minute too long.  Sorry, I may be in the minority on this.  Mike telling Adam to shut up had me rolling.

God, the food at the ball/party was to die for.  More food porn please.  I'd rather watch an hour of the cast members cooking Persian dishes that what they're showing.

Reza is so ridiculously jealous of GG I find it hysterical. Comparing his pathetic joke of a play that was most likely only performed once for the show and couldn't even hire people to sit in the audience and batching about a newly engaged woman flashing her ring at a party that was supposed to be partly to celebrate the engagement was so ridiculous and delusional, he was just pissed that GG was the center of attention and it wasn't because of negative behavior.

MJ's dad had a stroke.  He was (is?) in a rehab facility.  I think Kevin Lee is Korean, not Japanese.  The wedding planner in Father of the Bride (the Steve Martin movie from the 90s) is based on him, so I think technically that's where he's first from TV/Movie-wise.  He's a florist and wedding planner that does a lot of A-list celebrity weddings and events and used to do the flowers and decorations for the Oscars and Grammys.  I don't know how he ended up being ubiquitous on Bravo shows.  It seems like a step down, but some people will do anything to be on TV, I guess.

I wasn't paying super great attention the first of the 300 times this was on tonight, but when I heard MJ talking about her high school acting class I did a spit take and had to rewind.  For some reason her "he was good at tennis." cracks me up.

We just cannot get Gretchen and Slade to go away, can we? They are now on this sh*tshow too?  I feel like maybe it's time to come up with some kind of MTV's The Challenge type show for The Real Attention Whores of Bravo. That way, we can either choose to not watch all of these terrible people OR choose to watch them all be terrible to one another.  I think it's a win-win. Someone call Satan Andy.

Why does every ethnic group hi lighted on these reality shows assume those not in their band don't like certain things like buffets or other ethnic groups foods etc...I find it insulting. 

I did not see Slade and Gretchen at the party, clearly I was not paying attention.  Those two would show up at the opening of an envelope.

Asa can sit next season out and would not be missed.

MJ's apartment looked better but it was a few different styles going on there, rustic glamour meets the I will not...wall writing that we see in the opening scene from every Simpson's episode.  It was like she went thru a Pottery Barn and said yes to everything.

I did like the grey wall with the wood design.  The apartment does not look like Tommy lives there.

Did I hear right--Ryan (the guy who played the waiter in Reza's "play") did the decorating for MJ's place?  It's a lot like Reza's style:  stand outside a HomeGoods store, wait for it to explode, then catch all the flying debris and arrange it in a room.  Yikes.  I wonder if that's what he does for a living.

Another white person here who's on board for a buffet.  And that looked like a very good one.

Maybe?  I don't remember the original stuff. I was in elementary school when the murders took place and too busy running around with boys or whatever during the trial.  I remember the Night Stalker stuff more vividly from the 80s because everyone was so terrified and then of course OJ and the riots are the big things from the 90s.  For the Menedezes I of course remember their names and that they murdered their parents and it was sensational, but all the details I remember are from the recent special and that mainly talked about molestation.

I "think" mike may have meant the differences between a white buffet and a Persian one, which at my price point IS very different.  Lol. Like a chicken, a beef and veggie mains with a few starters like salad, green beans, potatoes and then simple pass around apps. Now, if i was going to a buffet from any culture at the Bravo budget, I'd  expect, well, i guess the same? Lol. I work for a global company with gigantic profits and have had Christmas parties put on by Wolfgang Puck and now that i think about it... the buffet was still pretty much the same.  AND i seriously love buffet! I actually like Asa.  She's a complete wackadoo but i like her energy/vibe. I don't watch closely so i may miss stuff, forgive, but she has always kept her Loire separate and i don't  blame her wth this bunch of jerks. It's a tv show.  I would never do reality tv - I'm a small ball of nervous anxiety who can be seen as a crazy person (meh, i am) but also would end up as the evil wicked witch person. I think that may be one reason Asa compartmentalizes her life for the show.  Seriously, if you called my kid a bastard, i would LOSE MY MIND! Those people aren't friends.  They are an act put together, like The Monkees and The Who.

Finally, i think Destiney is cute as can be.  RUN DESTINEY - RUN!

I think Mike's point about the buffet was that this was a black tie party so many people, and the Shahs always seem to say white people when they realy mean non-Persians, would typically expect a sit down dinner at a small black tie event.

I initially gave Adam the benefit of the doubt with surrogacy versus adoption because a lot of people have valid reasons for preferring one or the other but the way he talked about his versus Reza's adopted kid was gross.

It was weird to see Vera at MJ's father's bedside. She was at least kind to him. Hope that's not a sign of his declining health!

Kevin did Pandora's wedding for Lisa/Ken on the BH show and a few of their other parties as well.

I don't think you're allowed to do any alterations on a loaner dress from renttherunway.com dress...LOL!   

Kevin has been on several Bravo shows - mostly, RHOBH (he's done several parties for Lisa Vanderpump, including her daughter's wedding) and I think he's also been on Vanderpump Rules.  He drives me crazy, but his over-the-top parties look gorgeous!

Two things about Reza - 

1) What was his whole beef with Adam's phrasing with something being a life or death issue? I thought it was Adam's reaction to the cats walking on the Hermes blanket, and telling Reza not to overreact, but I was only half paying attention, so I'm not sure.

2) The very end, when Reza said he wasn't surprised about GG and Shalom splitting up... not that that was a secret; we know that now, but of course, one last chance for him to look like a total douche this season, which he does so well.
