Wow, I realize that's a video still, which can lead to some weird/ "transitional" expressions, but Anna's face there is hilarious. That's the look of disgust I wish she always had while looking at Smuggar.

I'm watching Fixer Upper where they renovate a  restaurant, The Elite,  to become  The Magnolia Table. I  watch Fixer Upper sporadically but have been watching the episodes more closely today since the Gaines  has been the topic here recently.  On one episode Chip tells his kids to get in the car & reminds them to "be obedient." (Instead of just saying  behave yourself.) I dislike the words "obedient" and "training" when they are used in reference to children.  Reminds me of dealing with animals vs humans. 

I remember the episode when Anna is in D.C. & goes shopping for the turkey dinner & reminds Michael who had to be a toddler that he had to be obedient in the store.  I know they like to teach them young like in blanket training but he was just a little fella & probably only associated the word obedient with the punishment he would receive if he didn't behave.

He's about 40% of the way there to My 600-Pound Life I think. But his hairline has been the same vein as the rest of the adult Duggar sons. The only adult male Duggar with good hair is Boob. Boob's receding hair is in his eyebrows, not his head hair.

Yes, Smuggar has been balding (and expanding) since his very early twenties. His top hair is just combed forward in that photo.

Well hey, my 600 pound life would certainly be a win for Anna! She would just bring him a plate of food and leave the room, and not have to see him again until the next feeding! She could totally restrict his internet and phone access, too. It would be great! Also, no sex with Smuggar would be the biggest plus! If she wants more babeeeez, she could use his sperm and do IVF, which would be waaaaay less gross than actually sleeping with him! Maybe that's her plan, lol. Surely would have some advantages!

She probably already has to, but if it got her out of sex with him, getting him on 600 lb life might be worth it.  Of course the Duggars would probably blame her as his helpmeet for not making proper nutritious meals for him - after all they had that personal trainer a few years ago that cleaned out their fridge and gave them recipes and proper food suggestions.

I wonder if she could convince Dr. Z from 600 lb life that while he was under the knife to snip him as well.

I think she's damned either way she goes.  If she makes him the food he enjoys - she's a good helpmeet, but if he gains weight and develops health problems from that way of eating, it's her fault.  If she makes healthy, nutritious meals with proper sized portions then she's bad for denying him the food he enjoys.

Yes most Americans are over weight or obese, but most people don’t look unclean and slovenly when if they are big.

She'd never agree to that. At this point, her only redemption in life is to have the most Duggar grandchildren. I think she'll continue to space them out by 2 years unless it looks like one of the other Duggar women are going to catch up, then she's going to turn into Michelle & hand off her babies to Mack & Meredith when they turn 6 months old so she can start working on the next one.

There are a lot of obese Americans, but not many with the time on their hands hat Josh has. I judge Josh more for being lazy than anything. He doesn't appear to work, and if he does it's likely very part-time. He also doesn't have childcare responsibilities or chores; Anna does all that. If most of us had that kind of time, we would be looking like supermodels! Why can't he squeeze in a trip to the gym? Most Americans who are overweight or obese have the excuse that they sit at a desk all day, come home exhausted with no time to make a healthy dinner, have to put kids to bed or drive them to activities, and then want to spend their little free time after all that relaxing. Many also have a genetic propensity and family history of obesity. Josh literally has none of that! I'm usually not judgmental of peoples' weight, but Josh is plainly one of those people who just has no self-discipline and expects everyone to cater to his lazy ass.
