Now that the Mexico trip has been called off, maybe the big outing this year can be to Passages Malibu or something. At least half of these ladies are an unusually chic episode of Intervention waiting to happen.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but now I'm hoping Jules comes back next season. I mean, it would almost assuredly be to her personal detriment, but now that she's in a messy-ass divorce and proudly rattling off all the prescriptions she's mixing with alcohol, I want the chance to continue giving her a side-eye through my TV. 

It boggles my mind that Carole and Bethenny don't have the self-awareness to leave Jules's eating disorder way the hell alone. Not from a being a decent human/friend standpoint, I don't expect them to do that, but they're generally pretty savvy about the cameras and the storyline that might be crafted for them (especially Bethenny). Freaking out about what Jules did with the calzone is completely understandable, but all the pestering and speculation before that was a really bad look. Maybe they live for getting bumrushed with Twitter outrage or something. We as an audience would still pick up what Jules is putting down without their commentary, so they should just back off. Instead, they're begging to be bashed for their own precariously-seeming thin frames, or their mean-spirited concern-trolling.

For serious. I feel uncomfortable watching Jules around food given her history, but Carole and Bethenny need to fall back and just leave her be. Hopefully she's getting legitimate help and not dealing with some quack. However, making comments about her disorder/weight is too damn much; especially since I doubt they really care. It's just to be nasty.

On a less serious note, WTF was that technicolor dreamcoat that Dorinda was wearing?! Jules was gushing over it, and I dunno if it's something that looks better in person, but :in my Beyonce voice: goddamn, goddamn, goddamn that was ugly. That was on some Mrs. Roeper Fall/Winter '75 Couture line. Hideous.

That sound you hear is me pulling back my chair to stand up and give Luann a round of applause for not entertaining Ramona's bullshit about Carole. Lu was dead ass wrong with how she handled the Carole/Adam relationship, but as she said, she apologized, now it's up to Carole. Carole clearly wants nothing to do with her, so why should Lu continue to send apology texts? Either flat out tell Luann to cease all contact or accept her apology and get the fuck on. I think Carole wants Lu to beg for her forgiveness. I'm glad Lu is like fuck all that, I'm going to Palm Springs.

I stand by what I wrote last week. I will never understand how Bethenny could be bleeding all over the place and not take it seriously. Perhaps if she would've went to the doctor as soon as the bleeding started, maybe the surgery wouldn't have been as serious. As for her not having anyone, whatever happened to that girl she made Brynn's godmother, Julie? Was she banished to the woods with the rest of the wolves that raised Bethenny?

Nah, it isn't the money at all, it is that they would raise Bryn and she couldn't control how she was raised. I am sure her will already addresses her money should she die before Bryn is an adult.

I sat there watching that pizza party with my mouth hanging open - not because I was hungry, I was aghast at what Jules was doing.  She put all that stuff in her calzone so she wouldn't eat it.  I don't care what drugs she was on, that behavior is really scary. Shivers.

Dorinda is a really good friend to Bethenny. I hope she is appreciated.

I liked that there wasn't too much Bethenny and even less Ramona.  I could do with more of Beth's driver.  I am not the biggest fan of Lu but she was great in the last 10 minutes - life without the petty stuff!

So Dorinda is not just a mean drunk, she's mean when she's sober too!  Telling Jules that she should have said to Carol that she's dating a man much younger than her. Lu at the end of the episode:  FANTASTIC!!!  I hope they do go away without Carol and Bethenny and have the time of their lives!

Honestly, Jules was so fucking off at the pizza party. I don't know if it's Bethenny or the meds, but she was really incoherent trying to tell her story about how she injured her vagina. And baking the silverware into calzone and wanting to bake the drugs in it was really weird and not weird funny, but weird weird. She should not have mixed her pain meds with alcohol. It's also quite likely that she was on antibiotics too.

Carole and Bethenny need to let up on Jules and her eating disorder. They're not really friends with her and their comments aren't coming from a good place. However, Jules took this huge apprehensive breath before she took a bite of the piece of pizza. I miss Heather. It's too bad that she has to be used to with this Jules has an eating disorder story.

I'm going to agree a tiny bit with what Ramona said to LuAnn. There is a grand tradition of housewives meeting up for coffee or tea after a fight to patch up their friendship or to declare that they'll never be friends again. LuAnn was being an asshole by acting like the concept is so weird and foreign when she has done it. She's watched her castmates do it and she's certainly seen wives in other franchises do it too. 

LuAnn also needs to stop repeating the lie that Adam was still with her niece when he started dating Carole. Her niece disputes this and even if it's true, the one to blame is Adam. This is also rich coming from LuAnn who cheated on her boyfriend of 2 and a half years with the Count and married the Count before her boyfriend even knew she was gone. If the feelings she was feeling for the Count were legitimate enough to explore regardless of her existing relationship, then so too are Carole and Adam's feelings. When Ramona was pestering LuAnn, LuAnn revealed that she didn't care about Carole and that revealed that LuAnn was only apologizing because she was afraid of being cut out of filming. All that aside, Carole and LuAnn need to suck it up, swallow their dislike of each other, and just move on.

Preach.  Even if Bethenny and Carole are assholes, doesn't absolve Lu of being an asshole too - her 'special hour with Lu' had a few humdingers - such as ghosting her live-in boyfriend without even the courtesy of letting him know in person he was being dumped (or even waiting to marry before dumping him)  That's some cold shit right there.  Then the car rolling down the hill - "I thought 'I'm going to die'" (beat) "and my kids are going to die".  Oh Lu, never change.  Also funny to see her tune change about invitations when she's the one in control of the inviting (and the camera time).  Still think she's a superficial, self-absorbed snake.  I mean, even more than all the other superficial, self-absorbed snakes on this show.

Jules has had this same issue with Bethenny before, she fumbles with her words around Bethenny because she, B, makes Jules nervous. Her calzone was weird, to say the least, but how Bethenny/Carole treated her was above and beyond ignorant and mean. Bethenny feeds on making others uncomfortable/nervous, it gives her power over them and she is all about the power and Carole feeds on the crap that floats after Bethenny is done with her feeding frenzy.

I think it is about time someone had an event/trip and not invite Bethenny or Carole since those 2 have been trying to dictate who can and can not come for 1/2 the season so far. Time to turn the tables and let those 2 feel what it's like to be frozen out, just as they have been doing to Sonja and Luann.

Wasn't this the woman crying in a rented ride to her driver and an assistant that she has no mom, dad, brothers, sisters, aunts, anything? So she would damn her daughter to the same fate? I wonder if this comment will be addressed at the Reunion.  I would imagine that, if it were made by any other housewife, from any franchise, Andy would be jumping all over this, but given that Bethenny made the comment, it won't be mentioned at all.

Way to go Lu.   Lu did apologize again after the Berkshires.  And it was totally immature and rude for Carole and Beth not to RSVP.  Glad to hear that the women are going to Florida.  And Sonja gets invited.  Carole and Beth can sulk back in NY.

You could almost hear the producers in her ear telling her to go here and say this.

Loved Lu shutting her down and telling her that she doesn't care anymore. (The look on Ramonas' face was like WTH, now what is my storyline going to be).

It will be fun to watch when she goes back to report to the gruesome twosome and they tell her that they don't care either.

Kim's addiction issues had a direct impact on the BH HWs (constantly being late or a no show to filming, violent verbal outbursts, ect.), Jules's ED doesn't have any impact on the NY HWs (she is pretty quiet, is on time and doesn't miss an event/filming). I could understand their alarm if they tempered it with some compassion and backed off of the snarky comments to her, like Bethenny's you need a "verb" comment which would only increase her stress level making it even harder to control her eating issues. I do agree with the cleanse though, it is a WTH is she thinking moment.

I continue to lose respect for Bethenny.  I loved her in Season 1 and 2, loved her on her own shows, but since her return to RHofNY, her likability factor just keeps going down, week after week after week.

Lu for the win. On screen for less than 10 minutes, and she owns the show. The more time the show gives Beth the more she hangs herself. You have no friends lady because you lack an empathetic or kind bone in your body. So, you lack family...you're an adult. Others in your situation have made close connections to a small group of lifelong friends. Try to be a sincere friend to one person, see if you can  manage that. If successful, expand your friend list to two. And know that your daughter will be lacking family as well unless you mend your fences with your in-laws, who clearly adore the child. So, what matters more, your concerns about your money, or your daughter having access to loving family?

My guess is Jules was trying to be campy by putting the silverware in the calzone-a subtle revolt at being invited to such a mundane activity.  I was more concerned with Ramona's lack of manners.  Maybe Jules just doesn't like pizza or calzones.  It is a change of pace to have someone out there.  Maybe next week she will wear mismatched socks.
