That does not make it an acceptable topic of conversation in here - unless for some mysterious reason, TLC brings the show back and it is discussed on there. Even then, it would be limited to how it was discussed on the show.

Somebody snapped the Vuolos "out walking" in LA with the kids. The Daily Fail used the photos as a reason to post a long story rehashing the Family Felon's conviction and sentencing: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10887283/Jinger-Duggar-spotted-time-brother-Josh-Duggar-sentenced-12-years-prison.html  Trigger warning: there's at least one somewhat graphic paragraph in the story quoting the sentencing judge about an image he couldn't get out of his head from the CSAM in the case.

The British tabs are unabashedly and chronically vicious. I assume they'll play this game with every Duggar/adjacent for a long time.

Nope, just loosely tied at the top, around the ankle. Much easier to walk in them.  I have high-tops I wear the same way. 

They all look healthy and well fed.  

Good for them keeping a low profile recently, since the media will insist that they always be tied to the scumbag sex-pig.

This is why JB & Jed! need to give up their dreams of being politicians. Legit media sources probably wouldn't target Jed! but trash media will bring it up and push it hard. As for JB, even mainstream media is going to remind folks that he raised (and defended, lied, harbored) a serial sex offender.

They were employed by the production company and I expect they've moved on to other shows.  I doubt they've kept in touch with JB and M.  Or any of the kids, either.

Replying to a point made on the JinJer thread...

I definitely think that Bin, Derick, and Jeremy were attracted to the fame. Especially Jeremy. And, I do think Anna was attracted to being attached to IBLP royalty. 

The post mentioned that Lauren was attracted to the fame too and that was why she married Josiah, but I'm not so sure. Lauren doesn't seem to be a famewhore these days. 

So...which of the in-laws did NOT marry for fame? I'm thinking most of the other ones that married, other than Hilaria Claire. But, with some of them, I'm thinking it was the parents who were seeking fame moreso than the daughters. Paul Caldwell, Dwain Swanson, Hilaria, Korey Nakatsu come to mind in particular. And, the Forsyths were previously on TV. 

The only one who I think genuinely didn't care about the fame was Abbie/the Burnetts.

I agree with most of your post. I think Lauren was attracted to having a nice lifestyle, but when she saw the downsides of a public life she wasn’t interested in that. The money was nice but the scrutiny was too much so she got off public social media. I don’t blame her.

Bringing this over from Small Talk.

I've checked the TLC-go.com site and confirmed that TLC has pulled all Duggar shows from its streaming content. I assume that Josh's conviction last year was the final straw, causing TLC to finally cut its ties with the Duggars. Good riddance to bad rubbish; TLC took its time about dumping the Duggars, but better late than never.

I have no idea how one would watch either 19K&C or Counting On episodes now, and TBH no interest in finding out.

In the center I see Mr Jim, the sound guy (I think?) from TLC who got pretty close to the kids. I also see a guy with a camera on the left, so I'm guessing it's the TLC crew?

I've only listened to one so far. They're a funny couple with pet names for different Duggars. The wife has read their books and researched and made a timeline that includes what was Josh was up to irl as opposed to what is shown on the show. The husband is watching the shows for the first time. It's so funny as she clues him in. The intro contains "Mother is bleeding" and Ben "rapping". 😂

I'm still listening to and enjoying Digging Up the Duggars podcast. But now I've also found a YouTube channel Gabs With Abigail. She does episodes about keeping up with D-list fundies (like Jill Rodrigues' book aimed at teens/young girls where Jill says horrible things about her mil and David's upbringing) and points out hypocrisy and illogical thinking in a humorous way.

So there's still no REAL, factual information, nobody legitimately involved is talking and AMAZON doesn't have any updated documentation or comments. 

To me, it sounds like the project was either scrapped totally or back-burnered, no matter how fervently people want to believe it's coming out soon. 

Right now, EVERYTHING IN THE ARTICLE IS SPECULATION.

I read things like that and go maybe they put themselves in the path of the bus or threw themselves under the bus.  Michelle and Jim Bob did seem to go out of their way setting themselves up for a fall.

What has she even read that Jinger wrote? From her article: "Jinger said with the help of her brother-in-law, who I assume is Derrick, Jill’s husband, she was able to see clearly many things that were wrong about her childhood." How could she have missed it was Ben? We all know it was Ben and we're not trying to make a fundie point.

I am DYING that Lori thought it was Derick. Of course she did. I mean I get it because Jill's the one who has more vocally stepped away compared to Jessa, but Jeremy was soooo much closer to Ben than to Derick.

She says the reason is this ⬇️, which we all know is not true.

Jill has repeatedly said she believes in the way she was raised and is raising her boys in much the same way.

This is an Amazon project, not a Netflix project. 

And speaking as someone who has worked with Amazon Studio productions, I can say that the process is somewhat different than with other Hollywood studios/networks, if only because Amazon isn't just the producer; it is also the distributor/broadcaster/retailer for its productions. Because of this, Amazon Studios is not cagey when things are scrapped totally or backburnered, so I doubt either is happening here.

BUT, as with other Hollywood studio productions, everyone involved is under a major NDA, so will not be talking without direct authorization from Amazon - regardless of whether the show is in the initial stages, post production, or getting launched tomorrow.

In this particular case, I can think of at least two reasons why Amazon might be telling everyone to shut up for now:

1. They want to ensure that any "shocking reveals" are revealed just a few days before the launch of the show, to get people to tune in. (See, the recent example of Prince Harry, where "OMG DID YOU HEAR ABOUT" tidbits were released just before the Netflix documentary and then again just before the book release. Result: the Netflix documentary apparently got great numbers and the book is one of the most successful memoirs in recent history.) 

2. And they have to verify said "shocking reveals" prior to any promo campaign/launch of the show; I have no doubts that Amazon will be able to win any defamation lawsuit, but I also have no doubts that the company would like to avoid those, if possible.

Thanks for the info.  I had kind of forgotten about this project.  Here's hoping we won't have to wait too much longer.  Jim Bob will blow his stack, especially coming on the heels of Jinger's book.

So I'm not the only one familiar with Lori Alexander. Sadly, you can't cast her off as some silly woman. She's truly dangerous.

And if you ask me, Ma and Pa Duggar deserve to be thrown under a fleet of buses. I definitely want to read Jinger's book. I hope my local library gets it.
