Melissa Claire Egan stars in the Christmas movie Holiday for Heroes. It aired on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel, but will likely air again during the holiday season.

I certainly understand "The Mysteries Channel"

I wonder if Josh killed the Adam/Sharon romance because the actors are dating in real life.

If so, when is he going to break up Devon and Elena? Now that Devon doesn't have his billions anymore I'd think the accidental golddigger would've hit the road. She'll probably fall into Nate's arms at the first provocation. Bleh, I can't stand Elena.

Thanksgiving is coming up and The Young and the Restless is scheduled to air two special encore episodes next week. On Thursday, November 28, 2019, they will re-air the tribute episode for Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) who passed away in February. On Friday, November 29, 2019, another encore episode will air. The episode is centered on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) reflecting on life in Prison. This episode originally aired in February. Be sure to watch 'Y&R' weekdays on CBS!

Especially odd since they had been together several years before they got married. It's not like they didn't know each other. Whatevs, a soap site where they dish the low down dirty gossip seems to think it's about money. JH just got a huge pay raise on This is Us and he might be trying to "protect" it before CS locks a chunk of it down with a baby. Apparently also he has a pattern of dumping the woman he's with when his career takes a step up but that seems iffy to me.

I remain surprised that neither of the CBS soaps picked CS up after AMC went dark. She played semi-legacy character and IMO had more cachet to bring with her than MCE did. (She did do a few episodes of YR but I think that was probably mostly JH's influence.)

I find it odd, they married after the This is Us hit and money came in. It would have made more sense to break up after the show became a hit than get married if the new fame/money was the reason. Chrishelle is on Selling Sunset, she's not broke and jobless.

The date of separation is what is bizarre, because they were at events after events with each other after and posting photos on their instagrams of each other weeks ago but Justin said they separated in July.

Oh, Daniel .....  your "goodbye" reminds me just a tad too much of the long ago Ted Baxter of Mary Tyler Moore fame, when he described his beginning in the business.......

giphy.gif

Ted Baxter : It all started in a 5,000 watt radio station in Fresno California, a 65 dollar paycheck and a crazy dream.

And you, Cow Tipper, are NO Ted Baxter.

Here are the first two thoughts that popped into my head after reading Daniel Goddard's goodbye comment.

1. See ya! Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.  👋

And...

2. I wonder how far in advance Y& R shoots. 🤨

ETA: Okay, I think I misunderstood the cow tipper's comment. I probably didn't read it carefully because it's Cane so I just didn't care. That was his last scene. I thought it was his last day of shooting. Sounds like his storyline is ending rather abruptly.

So DG addresses his message to his “dearest friends”? Boy, that is just sad if his “fans” are his dearest friends. Buh bye. I had high hopes for Chance when he blew through the hotel door and walloped Cane. Now I think he’s just terrible, cannot act, isn’t good looking and has no personality. He should be hot, hot, hot considering how crazy and sexy his job is. As I always say when a new actor comes on a show, this is really the best they could find in all of LA??!!

Right? LA is practically full to bursting with hot guys who can act. They could walk into any restaurant and find ten hotter, better actors then this nonentity they've got now.

So was today really his last show, or was it supposed to be today but last week's pre-emptions are pushing it back a few days?  Nothing was really resolved today, was it?  (I had a crappy day, so I may have been distracted or daydreaming and could have missed something...)

I had the same thought as you......if yesterday's show was truly his last, the show has confirmed their "new normal" of not really developing the story and, more importantly, bringing their viewers to a satisfying end.

I think due to the pre-emptions last week the shows are not as scheduled. I read on another site that apparently there will be new shows on Thurs and Fri this week instead of Thanksgiving repeats - DG was too busy tipping cows back in Aussie to notice this.

Rumor has it (this was posted on another soap site) that he had a few more scenes to film but he refused to do them. Presumably those additional scenes would've wrapped up his story in a way that didn't seem like it fell off a cliff.

The guy just went out like a major prima donna IMO and don't see how or why another soap would hire him. Maybe he'll get bit roles now but his "leading man" days are likely over. What an idiot. When trying to preserve your "brand" goes wrong...

That Theo has got some real acting cred - Lifetime's Psycho Stripper.

From the article, he explains how he couldn't wait to do this movie and also mention his "dancing"  - which we all got a kick out of when we saw him "dancing" at Society, or wherever the F it was.  (notice I put "dancing" in quotes.....I wouldn't call what he does dancing):

“As soon as the director told me the title, that’s when I knew it was a project that I wanted to do!” he enthuses. “I love the absurd and I do think that we’re in a time where just that title is enough to grab people’s attention. There’s something about it that I really take pride in. Some people think I’m going to be embarrassed by it, but I really love that movie and I recommend it. The thing about that movie is I do like to dance, but I do very much dance in my own way [laughs].”

Kristoff St. John's Ex-Wife Mia to Release Tell-All Book About Her Life with the Late Actor

"The life that Kristoff led, a lot of people don't know what was happening at the end of his life," Mia St. John tells PEOPLE

Mia St. John is ready to share her story.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE about her upcoming book Fighting For My Life, the five-time world boxing champion opens up about how her ex-husband Kristoff St. John‘s sudden death and the loss of their son to suicide led to her passion for spreading awareness about mental health.

“I’ve been in this fight for reform of our mental health system for so Iong,” says Mia, 52. “Kristoff and I lost our son in a mental health facility that was found guilty of neglect. Then when I uncovered a lot of the facilities in LA County, I discovered that this was going on everywhere because there have been many deaths. My son wasn’t the only one. So I’ve been on that vision.”

The two-time Emmy Award-winning actor died at age 52 on Feb. 3. It was later determined that his death was caused by heart disease, which was exacerbated by alcohol use.

Kristoff and Mia’s son Julian, 24, died by suicide four years earlier on Nov. 23, 2014 following a lifelong battle with mental illness. He was reportedly found unresponsive in the bathroom of a Long Beach, California, facility.

“When Kristoff lost his life, he was also neglected by the facility that he was put in,” she continued. “He was let go while still being suicidal. Then, my mission just completely skyrocketed. And I just want the public to be aware of what’s happening.

She continues: “A lot of people don’t know what was happening at the end of his life. Not just with the depression and the guilt over his son, but all the circumstances surrounding his life and the last days of his life. So much has been swept under the rug.”

Just two weeks before the Young and the Restless star’s death, he  publicly mourned the loss of his son on Twitter. On Jan. 21, St. John retweeted someone’s post about losing a child that read, “Grieving the loss of a child is a process. It begins on the day your child passes, and ends the day the parent joins them.”

“Never a truer word was spoke,” St. John tweeted. “Thanks for posting this.”

According to Mia, Kristoff was struggling in the days leading up to his death.

“Everybody knew what was going on in his circle, but I feel like there was such a big attempt to cover everything up, which was not to really his benefit and he was so eager to get out of the hospital and get back to work from fear of what would happen if people found out he had been hospitalized,” she said. “He needed to stay in that hospital. And if he had stayed in that hospital as we had intended, and as our attorney had requested, he’d still be alive today.”

And Mia admits that she has been struggling to come to terms with the losses she’s experienced as well.

In March, Mia revealed that she relapsed after three decades of sobriety.

“I lost my 30 years’ sobriety,” she previously revealed to PEOPLE. “I’m ashamed, believe me. I had 30 years of sobriety, I thought I was the s—. Like I was queen of mental health. I’m a mental health advocate. I felt as small as you can get. My ego was crushed. But I feel like I want to look at the bigger picture and my higher self. It’s about the good of all. And if I can help someone out, and say if there’s just nothing it doesn’t mean that I’m a weak person. I’m just an imperfect person and we all have to find a way to pick ourselves up and carry on.”

Following Kristoff’s death, Mia was hospitalized twice.

“I’m out of the hospital. I’m sorry if I scared anyone,” she shared on social media. “Let’s plz focus on the wellness of his precious girls Lols & Paris.”

“They love their father so much, the beautiful, loving, funny soul that he was/is,” she continued, adding a green heart emoji. “#MentalHealth is all we have, nothing else is important.”

While Mia says she’s overcome with grief, she’s doing her best to move forward.

“We’re just really struggling,” she tells PEOPLE. “I’ve just been telling my daughter, that we have to go on, he’d want us to be happy and to celebrate together. And that’s what we have to do, even though he was always with us, even though we were divorced, we spent holidays together. It’ll be a burst. It’ll be difficult.”

Fighting For My Life will be released in 2020.
