I have to congratulate any actor who got a nomination for Power of the Dog, because that movie was so hard to see (every scene was dark) and slow (took forever for anything to happen).  Good job getting through it, guys!

Ariana's speech was beautiful, whether it was her thanks to Steven Spielberg, her tributes to her mom and Rita Moreno or her shout-outs to her culture and for her identity. I think she's got a great career ahead of her.

Amy Schumer is being pretty funny! For any fans of Billie Eilish, here is a bit about her. My cousin's daughter, who lived in San Diego, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She was a big fan of Billie's. Billie came to a fundraising for K's treatment at her home, and K was thrilled to meet her in person! Then, after K passed, Billie mentioned her at her next concert, saying that "a light had gone from the world." I am not familiar with Billie's music, or anything about her other than she has the biggest heart, and I so appreciate that she gave  something wonderful to a courageous teen.
