Lady Calypso March 28, 2022 Share March 28, 2022 Good for Ariana, and not a surprise. I haven't gotten around to watching West Side Story yet, but I hear all great things about her, in particular, and I can't wait to watch. 2 Link to comment
wallflower75 March 28, 2022 Share March 28, 2022 Yaaay! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed West Side Story--but she really was the best part of it. (Well, her and Rita Moreno.) 10 Link to comment

Lady Whistleup March 28, 2022 Share March 28, 2022 I loved Spielberg's WSS but I didn't think Arianna deBose was THAT amazing tbh. Anita is always the best role and I've actually never seen any actress fail at Anita. 4 Link to comment

KittyQ March 28, 2022 Share March 28, 2022 I have to congratulate any actor who got a nomination for Power of the Dog, because that movie was so hard to see (every scene was dark) and slow (took forever for anything to happen). Good job getting through it, guys! 4 2 Link to comment

DollEyes March 28, 2022 Share March 28, 2022 Ariana's speech was beautiful, whether it was her thanks to Steven Spielberg, her tributes to her mom and Rita Moreno or her shout-outs to her culture and for her identity. I think she's got a great career ahead of her. 20 Link to comment

Popular Post susannah March 28, 2022 Popular Post Share March 28, 2022 Amy Schumer is being pretty funny! For any fans of Billie Eilish, here is a bit about her. My cousin's daughter, who lived in San Diego, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She was a big fan of Billie's. Billie came to a fundraising for K's treatment at her home, and K was thrilled to meet her in person! Then, after K passed, Billie mentioned her at her next concert, saying that "a light had gone from the world." I am not familiar with Billie's music, or anything about her other than she has the biggest heart, and I so appreciate that she gave something wonderful to a courageous teen. 39 Link to comment

It's not just too many awards; it's too much fluff and too many bits inserted. I get needing to have some breaks in between, but then these bits go on for five minutes and it's enough. 4 Link to comment
