I think this tweet is interesting. At the very end, Dorinda says something like "It's a different Dorinda who sits here today".  Bravo chose to end the montage with that scene - as if they were trying to share their reasoning behind her departure in a subtle yet clear way.

So I asked this one before, but never got a response. Dorinda’s gesturing and flailing. I’ve never seen anyone else anywhere else do this (unless they are imitating her). Is it a regional thing? It’s so distinctive, almost like a swimming stroke. And she even did it on the phone while yelling at John for running game.

When she tilts her head, she reminds me of De Niro.

They seem to be massaging her psyche far more than they have any other terminated hw.  Are they afraid of her too?  lol   I hope there isn't an agenda there.

I'd chalk Dorinda's flailing about up to genetics and cocaine.  I don't think it's a regional thing.

Most of what they showed, with the exception of her exercising and the I tried to make it nice comment was Dorinda being a bitch. The clip, clip, the Jovani, the not well bitch, might make good sound bites but were all wrapped up in her being cruel/drunk/instigating to one degree or another. 

I was one who liked her initially, but around the time she blamed Kristen for John hitting on her, my thoughts about her and her motivations, but really her core character, changed.

Has anyone else checked out Dorinda's Instagram lately? There's something uniquely pathetic about it. I'm no fan, but it makes me sad for her. It's a study in loneliness somehow. Very try hard, oh, and she has a bathing suit with her face all over it.

Yeah, and no sign of Leah or BFF BF for that matter.

"A study in lonliness" vibe is what I've gotten from Dorinda's IG and Twitter accounts for a long time (not that I visit either of them very often, though). 

It is so sad that at one point I posted on one of her SM accounts (can't recall which) that she consider volunteering somewhere, e.g. with veterans or a hospital rather than spend her time on things like decorating her mansion for just a handful of rich friends. 

I know she talks a lot about Richard but I wonder what she was like prior to him. I read online they were separated when he fell ill.

I think one reason I've been somewhat of a supporter of Luanne, Sonja, and Ramona over the years is that they fought to stay in the game when their worlds shifted. Ramona started dating and found 50 new friends. Sonja tried starting businesses, Luanne started a new cabaret gig and so on. They've gone through big ups and downs a long the way - especially Sonja and Luanne, but they keep on going and they keep on trying. These 3 are tough and they are fighters.

I’m not a Dorinda fan after her last season on Real Housewives however, I do occasionally look at her Instagram.  I totally agree that there have been some pathetic posts in recent months.  The comments from her minions are equally disturbing:

Me too, I loved that Dorinda. However she lost me a couple of seasons ago because her funny wit turned into meanness against others (much like Bethenny and Nene from RHOA).

She really ruined last season for me, because she was so vile, vicious and the opposite of funny. If she had come back I wouldn’t have watched. That being said the current season is not very entertaining as of yet, however none of the RH shows have been very enjoyable in the last few years. I think this has a lot to do with producer manipulation and “scripted” storylines. I also think using the comments of the very few people who post on Twitter as market research instead of doing actual market research has had an undo influence on decision making, which is disturbing.

When she first came on the show and I was so enamoured with her beauty I said that she's like Princess Diana mixed with Cameron Diaz.  High praise for sure.  But her personality turned so ugly :(

Kind of a weird storyline.  

Steve is using Dorinda and her publicist to promote one of his sales which is in the Berkshires.

Dorinda was fine, but both Steve and Dorinda referred to her as the "Queen of the Berkshires" way too many times.

People Mag has an article that Dorinda is renting out her house end of August (Air B&B) for a couple of weekends while she travels promoting her new book “Make it Nice” coming out August 17.   Although that house is crazy inside, I absolutely LOVE it.  I hope she never sells.  I’m sure it isn’t mortgaged, as Richard gave it to her.  I’d love to go in that house, but husband has zero interest.  Unless there’s a golf course in the backyard.  I’ll pay to read the book.

Yes, I really miss Blue Stone Manor.  It’s only on 2 dates and $100 a night.  She is doing some video that she will offer with proceeds going for Ronald McDonald House.  So I think that’s what is behind it.  That’s a great cause!

Considering she is donating the proceeds she could have charged much more.  I have been tempted to book Airbnb but the cleaning fee always gets me, sure I'll pay $100 for one night but then they hit you with a $100 cleaning, no thanks I'll go to a hotel.  What do we think the cleaning fee would be at Bluestone Manor?
