bettername2come January 30, 2015 Share January 30, 2015 The Flash 1x12 "Crazy for You" - Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) decides that she and Barry (Grant Gustin) need to move on from Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Iris (Candice Patton) and find new loves so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. Caitlin doesn't have any luck making a love connection but Barry meets Linda Park (guest star Malese Jow), a sports reporter for the Central City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. When Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris is surprised by her reaction. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Ramon) considers Hartley's (guest star Andy Mientus) dangerous offer and the team searches for Shawna (guest star Britne Oldford), a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay (guest star Micah Parker) out of Iron Heights. When Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipps) snoops around in an attempt to help Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Barry solve the crime, he ends up in the infirmary after getting roughed up by inmates. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#112). Original airdate 2/3/2015 The extended promo looks so much better than the first one that aired. 2 Link to comment

Jediknight February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Grodd is back! Hells yeah that was awesome. Nice to see there's going to be no dragging out of Barry's dad actually knowing Barry is The Flash, and that Barry knows. Cisco was an idiot when it came to Hartley, at least let Wells know beforehand. Although that could be forgiven for his line about Hartley knowing 6 languages. 6 Link to comment
Shanna February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) Best things: Malese jow!!!!! Grants voice. And grood??? Maybe. I do love daddy flash too. Cisco is ok. Worst: all the rest? This episode was so slow and so disjointed. I kept checking the time. I think they packed too many things in and nothing worked together? And Danielle should never, ever play drunk. Wow. I don't generally mind her acting but damn. I was so looking forward to this one too. Shame. Aside from Malese, this is pretty much my least favorite episode. Fabricationary February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 On this week's episode of Charmed The X Files The Flash: - The MOTW dates a Property Brother - We get to take a look inside modern day Charlotte York Caitlin's inspired-by-Elle-Decor apartment - Barry's dad learns the hard way why you shouldn't pass around prison gossip - Cisco proves he can outwit any enemy with hand-held device that is impossible to steal - Barry briefly considers a career in karaoke singing, but settles for a date instead - Iris works really hard to prove herself as a reporter gets another story handed to her on a silver platter 3 Link to comment
Morrigan2575 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) Screw you show. I didn't like any shop, didn't care about any relationship but Joe/Barry and you had to go and do this to me? You had to make me like Snowberry and not only like it but throw the meta bullshit in (people are right about us, hint hint, wink wink). Other then that Cisco was awesome, loved him and Pied Piper is a fun villain. The Dad/Barry scene was wonderful as well, love that he figured it out. The rest was blah, I didn't like the Iris reporter stuff, getting her story from Barry, would have preferred she earned it on her own. Thought the VoW was boring as well, funny since Nightcrawler is one of my favorite characters, but she lacked Kurt's charm. ETA: forgot to mention, really annoyed we didn't get more singing, Grant is good. Edited February 4, 2015 by Morrigan2575 2 Link to comment
Enero February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) Wow, GG has a really great singing voice. Cisco was tougher and smarter than I thought, at first, but then he let his guard down and let Hartley get the better of him. Team Flash seemed pretty laid back about Hartley getting away, which is surprising considering all the havoc he wrecked in the previous episode. Tonight was the first time I actually saw that the writers might explore SnowBarry. There were quite a few scenes stoking that fire and I actually liked most of them. I could’ve done without seeing Caitlin vomit though. Still, I don't want to see them as a couple. I like them as friends. Shawna had a really cool power. I actually liked the character too. She wasn’t a horrible person, just a little misguided. That said, I’m confused. How did her boyfriend leave the car and disappeared out of the tunnel without a trace? I was going to say I continue to be disappointed with what they’re not doing with Iris. Still not totally happy with how she continues to be neglected. However, I liked how they ended the episode with the Flash asking her for help in tracking down Shawna’s boyfriend. Hopefully this will lead to her getting a storyline and not be continuously reduced to being Eddie's arm candy and Barry’s sounding board. Though the latter has been more supportive of her in the past couple of episodes. I do have to ask though if Barry/Flash is okay with putting Iris on a mission to track down what some would consider a dangerous criminal, why does she still need to be kept in the dark about him being the Flash. Lastly, as much as I enjoy Barry's bonding scenes with Joe and tonight with his dad, I'm ready for something different, or focus on other characters besides Team Flash or Barry bonding with someone. We've received a bonding moment every episode. They all are the same, basically another scene with someone telling Barry what a good person he is and reminding him of the value he adds to the people's lives around him or that whomever is proud of him. Again, these scenes have been great, but I get it. He's loved. He's a great guy. Now let's get some bonding moments with Iris/Joe, Iris/Eddie, Joe/Eddie or Joe and a friend we have yet to know. Or maybe a little back story on Iris' mom or Eddie's past. Overall this was a descent episode, not the best though. Edited February 4, 2015 by Enero 5 Link to comment

madhacker February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) Well, we all knew that they were going to find some excuse to have Barry sing in an episode. But was I the only one who expected The Warblers to suddenly show up behind him? Cisco did screw up but he did show that he's not too bad when it comes to getting down and dirty, he just made the mistake of not keeping Hartley right in front of him.But the plus side is that The Piper is loose so Andy can come back hopefully soon. Let's be honest this was the weakest episode of the season but they've been so great so far that even this wasn't totally bad (and yeah, Henry totally knows about Barry's secret). But they more than made up for any bad in the last few minutes. GRODD!! Wow can't wait for that, and next week.......Firestorm complete with a shirtless shot of Ronnie/Martin (of course). 764 Edited February 4, 2015 by madhacker 3 Link to comment
bettername2come February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Cisco, I was so excited to see you had a plan and were kicking ass. "You're not the only one who understands vibrations, Hartley." Hells yes! And then, you let him get away. How can you be an engineering genius and still be so stupid?! Make better choices! I felt like Cisco and Caitlin were being treated like children this week between "Cisco says I don't have a life," Caitlin's behavior while drunk, and Wells' "Cisco has something to tell you." Wells is such a creepy disapproving dad. I like that Caitlin wasn't mad at Cisco, and that we got some background on Cisco with the line about him building a family at STAR Labs. It fits nicely with Barry being happy to have friends now because of the accident. When Caitlin was telling Barry it was okay if he snuck a peek, I kept thinking she was going to say it was okay because she'd seen him naked. Glad Papa Allen figured it out. I hope Flash is pissed at Iris for publishing his picture next week. Always happy to see Malese Jow and hear Grant Gustin sing. Peekaboo is the first one I've really felt didn't deserve Pipeline level imprisonment. Her skills didn't exactly seem supervillain level. 1 Link to comment
bluebonnet February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 This was such a weak episode. Only 20 minutes later, and I barely remember anything. I do remember wondering how old Caitlin is because the little girl room was strange as hell. I also remember that gods damned prison. Seriously show?!? Why do you have to do this with the prison? Why not let us pretend that it exists in some magical fairy world? Nooooo, you have to tell us that some meta human will be stuck inside a mirrored room forever. In a tiny room with no bed or bathroom. FOREVER. The idea of never seeing the sun seems so much more unbearable and torturous than all the rest put together. Not only no sun but forced to stare at herself FOREVER. I can't deal and it's really absurd that this prison is turning out to be where I draw the line and what determines if I continue with this show. D I'm feeling disappointed with Iris. She's feeling less and less a real character and more a comic cartoon. Which I guess is what she really is but damn, why can't she be a real person just like all the others. Love when Cisco pulled out some moves and threw a punch or two. Also love Barry and daddy moment. If I hadn't been so disgusted with this episode I might have shed a tear. 1 Link to comment

They did really set up Barry/Caitlin all of sudden. This is the CW always gotta have the triangle. Cisco knows how to fight better than Laurel, maybe he should be the Black Canary. Kidding aside, I was surprised that Cisco knew how throw a punch. He was still stupid listening to Rathaway. I did like that Barry's dad knew he was the Flash while in Prison. That makes him smarter than Quentin. Maybe the writers are learning from their mistakes with Arrow. The rest of the episode was kind of boring. They had way too much going on and not enough plot. Lila82 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Despite some clunky plots, this episode had so much heart! And mine about broke for Cisco. The boy is all sunny snark, and so, so lonely. He just wants a family! A family that accepts him, and you know, wants to have a drink with him after work. With Wells, he wants approval, but with Hartley, he wants respect. We all knew how his and Hartley's field trip would end, and that Cisco couldn't resist. Poor kid. Ronnie seems more a father figure for him than colleague, and Cisco's spent two years blaming himself for his death. I was so glad that Caitlin didn't blame him, but affirmed his decision. If Ronnie can't say it himself, she's a good second. Oy, Shawna. When a boy doesn't immediately tell you that he'd break you out of prison, like you did for him, stop stealing things for him. She was even sadder than Danielle Panabaker's drunk acting. Although, I did think the scenes in Caitlin's bedroom were hilarious. Barry *did* get a peek of the goods. I hate being the naysayer, but one of Barry's dads is going to die by season's end. I can't choose. I love them both. 2 Link to comment
foreverevolving February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I have to repeat: Hey show! If you want me to like iris and Barry, stop throwing those awesome and cute snowbarry moments. I ship It, i can't help it. Cisco.. Like Caitlin i just want to give him a hug. Linda Park is freaking hot and super cool, I'd so do her. Shawna was also cool, i hope that she can be freed soon and be a good person, but comic canon aside, she did look like she was truly enjoying playing and being chased. Thank god we have confirmation that daddy flash knows Barry is the flash. Only took him half the time it took Moira to figure it out, and 1/4 of the time to say it out loud to his son. Now can we have Quentin just hinting that he knows Oliver is the arrow? Also let's all discuss on the fact that daddy flash realized this while Quentin also failed to recognize his eldest dressed up like a dominatrix rather than it was kick ass youngest at last week episode, Okay? Okay. Also, i second Sakura for Cisco as Black Canary, the boy has better fighting skills than bucklecanary it's actually kind of sad. 1 Link to comment
thuganomics85 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) There wasn't as much of Linda Park as I thought there would be. I'm pretty sure a few scenes in the promos were not here. Were they cut or are they just saving it for next week? Either way, I did enjoy Malese Jow in the role. Linda sure is beautiful, and seems more then capable, smart, and fun. I'm sure Barry will find some way to screw this up! Yeah... have to admit, Danielle Panabaker's drunk acting was pretty bad. Too bad, since I actually like the idea of Barry and Caitlin just letting lose, and going crazy at some bars. Although, they really weren't subtle at dropping the possibility they could end up being an item. Hangover Caitlin was fun though. Also liked that she didn't get mad at Cisco for keeping the fact he sealed Ronnie in the accelerator. Peekaboo was a fun "meta of the week", but I did feel like she didn't deserve to be sent to the evil underground prison. Yeah, she's a thief so she deserves jail, but it seemed like she avoided trying to harm people, unlike the other metahumans. They really seem to have kind of got themselves stuck with this. I mean, she goes there, while Cold and Heat Wave were suppose to go to normal jail? Yeah, doesn't seem fair. Did not see Cisco busting out those fighting moves. Guy actually has some skills! Not surprised though that Rathaway still found a way to take him down, and escape. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite villains so far. Glad Henry came back, and he already knows Barry is The Flash, even if he won't say it. Barry is lucky to have two awesome father figures with him and Joe. Makes up for Wells being the kind of cool on the surface, but really no good for you, creepy uncle figure. Iris was barely in this episode. They don't really know what to do with her, huh? Grodd! I can't wait to see their take on him. Edited February 4, 2015 by thuganomics85 2 Link to comment
Tangerine February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) It was a cute episode, but one that kind of made me go "Meh" I really dug Peek-A-Boo though, I thought she had the right amount of snark, fun and also sympathy. As for Barry/Caitlin, I saw more romantic chemistry from them then I do Barry/Iris, but would've been satisfied if they stayed good friends. Tonight did feel a little bit like shipper baiting with the whole 'accidental date' and drunken shenanigans. Iris is a pleasant character, and CP plays her well. But they made Eddie into such a decent guy and they seem to have a good relationship it's hard for me to get on the WestAllen train. I LOOOOVVEED Linda Park though, even if she was only on screen for a brief moment. She's a non-white female sports reporter! Flash Daddy totally knows about the Flash, and I thought they played it very well. Every single damn scene between Barry and his father makes me emotional. The tinkling piano music behind it doesn't help. As much as I love Dr. Wells, I'm glad we got a bit of a break from his mustache twirling this week. Miss Dee February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I'm sorry, all I could think about during the fight scene was "Look, Evil James Potter is fighting Goofy Severus outside the castle!" Um, it might have gotten a little dusty in my room during the "Son, you're totes The Flash" scene. I have to defend Iris a bit. Barry might have handed her that story, but that picture scoop was all on her. We haven't seen the last of Reporter Todd, have we? I hope not. I missed having snarky Roger Howarth on my screen. 8 Link to comment
Pepper the Cat February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 The evil underground prison upsets me more each week. No beds? No chairs? No books/TV/radio? No bathrooms? I know they are bad people, but this type of punishment is worse than death. Isolation, boredom, no basic needs of living. It's just cruel. Peek-a-boo was just trying to get her boyfriend back. She never really hurt anyone, (yes she stole money, but she never physically hurt someone), instead of getting her to use her powers for good, they lock her away. She'd be great at rescuing people trapped in dangerous places for example. 11 Link to comment
Actionmage February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 What I like about Linda Park, besides her being cool and social when at a bar, is that she is a sports reporter. Iris is not in direct "competition" for the same news stories, so maybe when Mason is being a snotty ass, Linda can give advice to Iris. It would be nice and refreshing. Cisco? Why does Hartley have similar cochlear implants to his evil ones? (Really, dude needs to stop pulling crap out of his ears! It makes me nauseous!) Or give him ones he simply can't keep pulling out, okay? Hey, Joe? Yeah, I know you did Henry a solid by getting him time with Barry, so let them have the two minutes to themselves and the mandated guard, mkay? You just had movie night with Barry, he lives in your house again; give him and his dad some space? Still like you, just...give Iris a flippin' hug sometime. Henry? Apple and tree with Him and Barry. JWS just somehow kept his good looks, too. I just hope Henry hasn't put a target on his back being a (potentially) known snitch. Do we know if anyone outside of that gangster's group has any idea Henry snitched? Caitlin drunk. I was amused. The outfit, the singing, the hangover. There is a reason, Show, why it's called a "discretion shot;" as I yelled at my TV, "Discretion is the better part of valor!" I am tired of TV vomit scenes. Folks know what it looks like; we don't need to see it on all the shows. *sigh* Also, hee to "saved me from that evil dress." I've fought a couple in my day too, Dr. Snow. Cisco and Caitlin being cool, after Principal Wells called a meeting, is nice. There were more important things to handle just that minute, so I'm glad it was handled quickly. Yes, Cisco did a questionable thing or two, but he has always owned up to his mistakes. The question now is: does Barry tell Joe, so the CCPD can be on the lookout or are they going to be blindsided by The Piper? IA that Shawna/Peek-A-Boo didn't deserve to be Ringed. She isn't a hardcore villain, but no one talks to her about why she's doing what she's doing. Maybe they could recruit her to their side, but no, the FlashMob just throws folks into the Ring, and the other cops don't question where the very public menaces have gone? Despite that unease, I am excited for next week! Plus we got a brief Grodd sighting! Things are getting good! 2 Link to comment
KirkB February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) Cisco surprised me with his fighting skills. He let his guard down with Hartley because he thought he was smarter, and that clearly wasn't the case. I would like to know how he managed to do all that without Wells noticing. I've never seen Glee but I've heard about GG's time there so I was curious to see what he sounded like and was not disappointed. I got a kick out of drunk Caitlin. Barry's dad is a hell of a guy. Helping his son and being proud of the Flash, and of course being JWS. I'm going to guess there is more to the cells than we have been shown. Wells might not have any problem letting the metahumans starve to death or live in their own filth but Barry, Cisco and Caitlin would. There most likely are restrooms of some sort in there and I imagine they get fed. Cold and Heatwave are normal people so them going to regular jail makes sense, though I find it a little odd no report of the prison transport being attacked and the two of them escaping has made it back to Joe, the CCPD or Team Flash. And while Peekaboo might not be particularly dangerous, she obviously could not be kept in a regular prison. And finally, Grodd! I don't know why but the thought of a talking (or at least telepathic) gorilla fills me with such joy. Edited February 4, 2015 by KirkB 2 Link to comment
Lady Calypso February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Did people not know that Grant can sing? He was on Glee. I wish we got to hear more of the song/ Same here. And Grant went to college for musical theatre, so he's technically trained as a singer, and even dancer. And he was on Broadway...ok, he was in a Broadway Revival of West Side Story. Trust me, this boy is talented and if you see some of his performances from his college....(out and proud fan girl of Grant Gustin since 2011) Anyway....this episode is for sure the weakest one, but it wasn't horrible by any means. I stayed entertained throughout it all. I liked the meta of the week a lot. The actress was great, the character was great and I liked that her ability had limits. I do hope she sticks around a little while longer and we see her in the finale. Oh...Cisco....I do like that he can hold up in a fight well enough, but of course they had to let Hartley escape. He got dumb, but he seemed to be doing ok for the first half. I was hoping Cisco had a back up to his back up, or at least had told Wells. But alas, that didn't happen. At least Caitlin didn't get angry with him for the truth. That was nice. I definitely see them hinting at SnowBarry and I think it would be a nice relationship to explore, but I'm still rooting for WestAllen. I don't read the comics, but I really want them to work out. But if SnowBarry is a temporary relationship, then I won't complain. I liked Linda a lot and look forward to more of her. I feel bad for Candice Patton, whose character really is not getting written well. See, this is why every character should be in the know of Barry's secret; if not, they either get far less scenes because they can't join in on the action, or their characters get unnaturally stupid. Like, I thought for a minute at the end that Iris would show Barry the picture of the Flash, look back and forth between the two and have the dots connect. Now, THAT would have been a perfect ending to the episode. But nah, that doesn't happen. At least Henry knows, which is the bright side to it all. I like how he figured it out immediately, I guess because he knows his son. Seriously though, show. MORE IRIS. Lots more Iris. She needs to know the secret by the end of the season. She really can't be this dumb about the Flash and Barry. She knows him as well as Henry does. 7 Link to comment

bethy February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 In my mind all the cells have retractable beds, sinks, toilets, food dispensers, and maybe TVs. BkWurm1 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Cute episode, plus it answered the question of where The 100 got their gorilla suit, lol. Danielle didn't make the most realistic drunk but I decided that since Caitlin is kind of awkward socially that she's just a drunk that seems like a fake drunk. I've met them soo, yeah, I was having too much fun with it to care. I wonder if DP is really that bad of a singer or they played it up for the contrast with the smooth and mellow tone that flowed from Barry. The whole scene in Caitlin's bedroom was hilarious, especially when she said he was a allowed a little peek. I kind of worry though that they are going to have Barry leave her in the friendzone like Iris does to him and Caitlin will be alone with her crush. Cisco first surprised me by winning but yeah, of course he was going to get away eventually. At least he was kind enough to do what he promised before he escaped from THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. Cisco, seriously? You didn't think to at least have Joe stand guard? Oh well, he had to escape so we can see him again. I did have a tear or two well up when Barry was able to touch his dad's hand with no glass between them and again later when they both pretended he still had a secret. Now that prison. Someone needs to offer some detailed explanations real soon because I can't handle it much longer. My current fanwank is that when they hit the button and rotate the room around the ring it connects to another room that has a bed and bathroom and shower facilities and that they at meal times lock everyone up in the tiny cube and then go in and leave food or clean clothing, ect, in those larger spaces. But even if they do have ways of feeding and bathing them (and allowing them to sleep) it is still actual torture to enforce long term solitary confinement. There are some baddies that all you can say is, them's the breaks but Peak A Boo was only there because she otherwise couldn't be held in a cell. Except they could have just blindfolded the woman. Or let the guards deal with her in the dark wearing night vision goggles. She should be allowed to at least talk to other people. As it is, after months or years (ok months, they are not good at keeping anyone locked up) in solitary she will have gone crazy and be that much worse next time around. This is such a glaring problem and yet it's like the producers can't even see it. 7 Link to comment

lilithred February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 What a joke this episode was...it was like someone accidentally mixed up the script with someone's fanfic. Where did any of this come from? Are they really going to make Caitlin have a thing for Barry? What is Iris's purpose on this show? Is she really the female lead or was that the old bait and switch to get people like me watching? Did they really have her walk away from Barry like she couldn't give less a of shit about him after he showed up to help her? How is that the same girl who loved and adored him so much and was always so considerate of his feelings? Are they really only making her want him NOW because someone else does? Do they not want people to like her? What a mess. This doesn't feel like the same show I watched before the hiatus and I'm just....I never say this but...I can't even. I literally just can't even. 3 Link to comment
Leia1979 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Did people not know that Grant can sing? He was on Glee. I wish we got to hear more of the song. I didn't know--or at least remember--until I read this. And even then I had to think hard to reconcile sweet Barry with evil Sebastian. Caitlin took a page out of the Felicity Smoak guide to overdressing for casual outings. It just took me back to episode 4 and the semi-backless cocktail dress. 5 Link to comment
ottoDbusdriver February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Cute episode, plus it answered the question of where The 100 got their gorilla suit, lol. Nice one. I liked it when Grodd went all Jurassic Park on the sewer worker (lifted him up while he was clutching the corner and then ripped him away without revealing himself to the camera). 1 Link to comment
rtms77 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I don't understand the thing with Catlin tonight. Two eps ago she was all gun ho about finding out what happened to Ronnie and was the first one to discover the whole transmutation theroy and Martin Stein. The moment Cisco mentioned it she should have been doing back flips and squeeing with glee to let her own research out. Yet here she's like, Ronnie Who?. What gives, were these eps filmed out of order?. As for the Barry/Snow ship, I would like it either way I feel the friendship should come first. Barry/Iris though just bores me. They don't have chemistry and it always seems forced when they are together. Not to mention that once again we have a so called journalist with no actually experience suddenly getting all her scoops handed to her. It's a cop out. Cisco, color me surprised that he actually had some moves. I didn't expect that. But of course the writers have to inlcude plot induced stupidity to make the story go forward and make poor Cisco look dumb. Those plot bunnies need to scramble away. I'm with a lot of others here, that jail cell at the lab is just cruel. Peek a Boo didn't deserve that and I felt could have been let go with a warning not to commit crime again. I think she would have agreed. Only problem is that may have gone and tried to find her boyfriend. Still the metahumans don't deserve this treatment. Only the most dangerous should be locked up there. 1 Link to comment
BkWurm1 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Did they really have her walk away from Barry like she couldn't give less a of shit about him after he showed up to help her? To be fair, Barry didn't call her ahead of time or make plans. He just showed up and she already had plans to have dinner with possibly her future mother in law. I would have understood if she said, sorry I'm busy just for normal dinner plans (call ahead, don't assume) but there is no way you could expect her to cancel dinner with mom in law. That said, Iris as a reporter is such a strain of credulity. Didn't she take like ONE journalism class while majoring in medicine or science stuff? I'm trying to let it pass. Has she at least graduated college? I know Iris wants to be taken seriously as a reporter but honestly, they should make her stick to the Flash stuff for the most part just so that my suspension of disbelief levels stay manageable. sking24450 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 This was a pretty bad episode to me. Couple things I can't deal with. I really have a problem with the Caitlin actress, it's so obvious a lot of times that she's "acting" that it's distracting. She's not very strong and the weakest actor of the bunch to me. Why was Cisco more interested in figuring out Ronnie than Caitlin, this is not necessarily wrong but she was just researching stuff for FIRESTORM two weeks ago, and Wells promised to help her and suddenly Cisco is taking the lead, just didn't make much sense for me. Iris suddenly being suspicious of Barry dating when she was the one pushing him to start something with Felicity, like it really wasn't that long ago show. Barry venturing too far into Nice Guy territory with his bullshit about always being there for Iris in hopes that she would develop feelings for him. Ugh. You're allegedly her best friend you should want to help her just because you're friends. You know like how she initially wanted to figure out the Flash to prove that her best friend was right. Or how she covered for you when you guys were kids. Or sat by your bedside for months while you were in a coma. The prison is bordering on cruel at this point if it hasn't already passed that point. This girl is a metahuman but she could have been rehabilitated instead of locked up like the guy who murdered numerous people. Then you have the fact that Wells has already used one of the metahumans and caused his death and that whole prison thing is not such a good idea anymore. They need to stop doing it and only use it for metas who can in no way be handled by the criminal justice system. Also, since the general public knows about the Flash and other metas, they should be working with the police to form something. Being locked up in Wells dungeon is not the answer. I'm going to bawl if they kill either of Barry's dad's. 5 Link to comment
pookat February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 (edited) I always find the show entertaining, but I was a little sad that we didn't get to see all that was shown in the extended promo. Hopefully, we'll see that in the upcoming episodes. I always love the Barry/Dad scenes. I also remember Grant as the evil Sebastian, so I knew he could sing (and performed a particularly memorable Smooth Criminal duet with Naya Rivera), but I didn't realize he was as talented with dramatic scenes until this show, specifically The Man in the Yellow Suit episode. In Glee, I had kind of written him off as another pretty face who could carry a(n auto)tune, but he is a true triple threat: Edited February 4, 2015 by pookat 2 Link to comment
Lovecat February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 I did think the scenes in Caitlin's bedroom were hilarious. Barry *did* get a peek of the goods. To quote Sheldon Cooper, "The hero always peeks." 3 Link to comment
quarks February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Thanks, @Pookat. Now I'm going to spending the rest of the series hoping that Barry Allen ends up doing a tap dance with the gorilla. 5 Link to comment
quarks February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Glad to see I'm not the only one getting more and more bugged by the Star Labs prison. Ok, it's probably more secure than Iron Heights. But - bathrooms? Showers? Entertainment so they don't go completely nuts in solitary? Thai food? And then in this episode - was this character really so dangerous that she had to be imprisoned there? They didn't even bother to talk to her first. With her power, she might even (eventually) have been able to help out. Sigh. 4 Link to comment
twoods February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 Forgot that Grant can sing (forever since Sebastian was on Glee) so what a nice surprise. Would love to see him and Cisco karaoke sometime. Damn this show for making me cry every week. Barry's dad is amazing. So we are going to get a quad? I don't blame the ladies- Barry is serious crushable material. I'm just irritated that Iris is jealous all of a sudden. I do like Linda Park- loved the actress on TVD (back when it didn't suck). 2 Link to comment
