I think reclamation of terms is a valid choice for marginalized populations. In the queer community we do it often. To be fair I am not a person of color and I understand the politics of every term is different. Regardless, it's an issue to be decided and debated by the community itself, not Kail. 

PS I'm really nervous if any of these kids turn out to be gay. Aubree would be loved and accepted. I don't know about the others. Isaac probably as well....?

I know it's common to equate the two, I agree the politics of the terms are very different. I also agree that people like Kail shouldn't have a say in it. I just think if it's all good to her, why not just use it as liberally when being filmed? I'll answer my own question on that. :)

Yes, I'm white so I figure I can only offer my opinion but it's always better to presume to know less about it than the community it affects. I can really only comment on those that affect me directly. Anyway, I also don't say racial slurs since the only meaning they could hold for me would be negative. 

As for the second part...I really hope so (about their parents).

I'm so confused by Javi. I watch a clip like that custody lunch discussion and he seems so reasonable and normal that I can't imagine him ever having enjoyed a moment with a drama queen like Kail. Then I read his Twitter and his plans to write a tell-all that his son will one day read about his mother and he seems like such a petulant man-child.

I agree, and that's why as much as I despise Kail, I can believe Javi was harrassing her via text messages or social media or whatever. She must've had some sort of paper trail to be able to go into court and show a judge a protection order was needed. I understand that Javi feels hurt and betrayed and deservedly so, but unfortunately shit like this is going to happen when you rush into marriage and babies with someone you barely know. If he'd given it a year before proposing, Kail's true colors would've reared their ugly head long before he signed his life away.

Yeah, I don't believe the PFA was "needed" for her safety or anything but I can imagine Javi saying really sexist disgusting things over text and not leaving her alone. His anger is partly justified but like you said, it's also a "reap what you sow" situation and a good lesson.

Also, I believed he consented to the PFA which will now be on his record for a year. I'm not saying he "abused" her (we know she lies about that) but if all she said was that he was harassing her via social media and he really wasn't, I don't know why he'd consent to that. I assume she blew it out of proportion to take it to court but I also fully believe there were some things he said/did that he would be too embarrassed for a judge to see, so he just consented to the order.

I chalk a lot of Javi's flip-flopping up to pure immaturity and lack of self-control. Back in the beginning Jo often lashed out at Kail in a similar way that Javi is now, but he has managed to calm down and mature a lot in the past few years. I think part of Javi's problem is that he is still wrapped up in his feelings for Kail, despite having been with other girls since they broke up, and mostly his kids. It was also an abusive relationship with Javi taking most of the abuse, physically and otherwise. I'm not an expert on abusive relationships, but from what I understand they can really fuck with a person's mind, even after they are done. I think Javi would benefit from some therapy to work through his issues with Kail. Actually, most of these moms and dads need psychological intervention. It is pretty damn scary that we have Kail, Jenelle, Leah, Nathan, David, and Adam running around when they all have full access to mental health care.

Oh, I can believe it. Javi is hurt and angry with Kail. yup - i think javi finds twitter and the fact that everyone knows his situation to be oddly therapeutic, actually. some people find being bombarded with the opinions of viewers toxic and even traumatizing, to constantly be reminded of how badly someone treated them, but others, like javi, i think feed off the supportive energy from it and use it as a way to cope and vent.

It looks like a conversation on Facebook mentioning the wedding Kail participated in October. According to one of the groomsmen (the one writing all the goods) Kail slept with one of the other groomsmen.  Someone else in the wedding party is saying Kail was a straight up B when it came to hair and makeup.  They were trying to decide on the timeline of her getting pregnant since it falls pretty close to this wedding.

The wedding was in October-- if she's 17-18 weeks pregnant it wouldn't have been until mid to late November that she conceived. My money is still on Chris.

A convenience store/gas station I stop at puts surveillance stills in the windows of people who got caught stealing and a detailed description of what they took. One of the pictures is of a guy who came in drunk and got freaky with the ATM. The caption under the picture says "Had sex with ATM. Butt naked. No, seriously." Apparently it's not as uncommon as one might think.

As far as Kail, my money's still on Chris as well, but it could be anyone at this point. I wonder if she even knows and that's why Chris hasn't exactly been the most supportive partner. If Kail's been dick hopping like people are claiming, I wouldn't do jack either until a DNA test was confirmed.

She could be lying about how far along she is, though. Or not truly know. Even with an U/S it can be hard to pinpoint, because babies aren't one size fits all. My boys both measured ahead of how far along I was (and we TTC so I knew exactly when I conceived!) - my second son, especially. He always measured at least a week ahead, sometimes two. He's now 7 and wears 10-year-old size clothing. 

Kail wouldn't be the first of these moms to have a suspiciously early birth.

I can't find it now, but a few days ago on one of my teen Mom FB groups someone posted a screenshot of a tweet Javi deleted. He said it was possible he might be the father but Kail doesn't know for sure. Sorry I couldn't find it again to post but will try again later. I do think Kail isn't even 90% certain who the daddy is, even if her heart is set on Chris. It's nuts to be having all this unprotected sex, nuts and gross. 

Also no white names? Someone who named their kids after a member of Hanson and one of our many white Presidents shouldn't try to pretend to be so worldly and cool. I think Chris is more concerned about baby's first DNA test rather then the first name.

Yes!!! It reminded me of the scene in Roseanne (all roads lead back to Landford) when Nancy just had butt implant surgery. She was shown walking out of the bike shop and the door hit her on the ass. Except Kail texted Javi to spend time with her at Xmas time. She possibly used the boys as her way to get Javi to be with her. Javi stated Kail would constantly give him the belief they were going to get back together. She did this while he was deployed. Javi has not had time to really pull away from Kail with all of this back and forth shady business she done.

Don't be afraid. Vent! : )  Even before Javi mentioned it, I knew he had the right to be in his home. That is how it works in most pending divorces. Until a court issues a ruling or the two parties come to an agreement of sorts, the family home belongs to both parties. Javi may have agreed to live elsewhere, but he still had legal rights to be on his property, in his home, in his bed, in his basement or even on the toilet. I am not condoning how he went about what he did, just confirming his legal rights to take a shit in his own house if he wanted to.

Kail pulled a real shit move on Javi. I understand that his wheels have been spinning and his emotional state has deteriorated over the past few months. However, legal right or not, his showing up to the house was super creepy. Just because he can't be arrested for it doesn't mean he should feel free to pop up unannounced like a herpes outbreak.

My girl Vee is not here for Kail, and I LOVE it. Jo is bending over backwards (or as far back as he can get, is he eating his feelings?) to try and please Kail for the sake of peace, but it's a little bit much. Kail created this drama and while I applaud Jo's support for Isaac's sake, I also see why Vee has had it with his blind loyalty. Vee is clearly over Kail, I need to see more of that.
