Damn Kyle is an ass. Once again putting the blame on someone else when confronted. She's the worst.

I died when she told the staff she was Mrs. Hilton's sister. Haha BURN. Kyle was so annoyed they didn't know who she was. ps Kyle they did know and they  don't care.

On a culinary note, I like duck. Good on you for serving it, Crystal.

Yes, but she is a bad hostess eating all the skin herself! I would have to start a food fight over that!

Where's Camille when we need a good nickname for Erika? I didn't appreciate her when we had her . . .

This kind of reminds me of when George Costanza wanted the nickname "T-Bone" and everyone started calling him "Coco".

I was obsessed with Kathy’s table and had to look up the Baccarat candle holders. They are sold out and $950.00 a piece!

Im so disgusted in these women supporting this lying liar who lies. What happened to the outrage for the widows and orphans? They are all on the wrong side of this story. Bravo has one way to smooth this over.  Fire Erikka. And I hope the lawyers get to descend on her tacky designer wardrobe and jewelry, not to mention the furniture and things she “stole” from Tom’s house.  She can go live in a studio apartment in north Hollywood for all I care. Her pontificating about her small house, which is nicer than anything I can ever hope for makes me see red.

We could just borrow "The morally bankrupt" title form Faye Resnick. I mean even she didn't steal money from widows and orphans and then try to make herself the victim.

I’m still on the fence about Crystal, too. She reminds me of a junior high queen bee who picks out one kid to torment for no good reason. She may turn out to be the Howife With A Heart O’Gold, but I’ll always think of that smirk on her face when Sutton had her meltdown at Rinna’s lawn party. Everything had been leading up to that moment for Crystal.

The convo at the lunch was right up her alley — judging someone’s status by whether or not you’ve heard of her. GTFOH. Most people probably never heard about Crystal until just a few weeks ago — at least I hadn’t — and I’m sure folks in Hollywood refer to her as the “wife of the guy who directed Lion King.” My point: Just because you may be known in one universe, that universe is part of a much, much bigger galaxy. So get over yourself, Crystal.

Yeah, I can't warm up to Crystal. Her husband is famous, although I had never heard of him, but she isn't. She is very pretty, but pretty women in Beverly Hills is not exactly an oddity  neither is being rich, yet she gives off an air of superiority that is off-putting. However, I can't say I detest her as I do Erika, Rinna, Kyle and Dorit. With all the attention on Erika's fall ( not complaining, I am here for it) this season, another season might be good for her. If she even wants it.

I fully understand and agree with your sentiment. However, Teresa remains the "star" of NJ  after doing time. Jenn Shaw is not only back, but she is being featured prominently in the commercials for Salt Lake. This is BRAVO. Doing what's right isn't even in the realm of possibility. While I imagine her lawyers will be begging her not to come back for another season, BRAVO will be offering her a significant raise to do so. Mark my words.

True.   But most people (and juries) have a tougher time believing known liars about anything.

I tend to think she didn't know all along.  But she has known at least as long as we have and probably before since she left and filed for divorce - although I believe she would have left the minute the money was gone no matter why it was gone.   And even if she did know, she clearly didn't care as evidenced by her behavior after finding out.

Erika's "Poor me, look at me" act makes me sick.  Taking the Baccarat champagne flutes (saving them from auction) and laughing about it - ugh.  Refusing to tell her BFF Rinna (or anyone) just where the money she used to move out and that she's living on now is coming from is strange too.

Agreed. I didn’t especially care for Shannon on OC at first, but she grew on me. Sometimes people need another year to find their lane, and this has not been a typical Housewives season. My mind is still open to Crystal, but the first impressions haven’t been good.

If that happens, then I’m OUT. I watch these shows for entertainment — not to be subjected to one person’s self-inflicted legal problems, subsequent whining about said problems, and sucking everyone else into their drama. Erika has ruined this season. I’m hoping her off-season issues make it impossible for her to come back — I think they’re serious enough that they might. But as you said, this is Bravo, and nothing is probably too radioactive for them as long as people watch. I just won’t be one of them.

I find it absurd to think that Erika didn't know, she was married to him for twenty fucking years and for ten of them he's been stealing from clients. I don't need to believe they were deeply in love to observe that they were extremely fond of each other and were engaged in a partnership however unequal. If everyone in the law community knew the man was living way way beyond any means he should have had even with his success, how am I supposed to believe she didn't?  Also I have no sympathy for any woman who choose to be bought and paid for and ask no questions, then wants to claim not only innocence but entitlement to stolen goods/money. She doesn't need to literally be conspiring on every dollar misappropriated since day one, cackling over his shoulder,  to be morally complicit in her husbands malfeasance. Her biggest moral failing is in wanting keep the stolen gifts/money.  She's a vile grasper playing a victim. GTEFOH.

Sutton said her friend knew about it ten years ago, if they knew it Erika did or rather decided to start pretending to be Blanche DeBois/Carmela Soprano until the piper showed up.

She was fully aware of the allegations against her husband way back at some previous reunion when she stonewalled questions about his legal problems, which had been in the press, and insisted the plaintiffs "apologized" to him.  AS IF.  I think that may have been two reunions ago.  So, no, not buying her act.

Yes.  I don't believe Erika knew about everything and how far back it went because she has shown us she is the type of person who doesn't care how she gets the money, just that she gets it and can flaunt it.  But she definitely has known for at least two years and this divorce started out as a sham to get out and protect whatever assets they could. Just look at her face when Kyle confirms she has heard cheating rumours, or her face when Garcelle says "f***K Tom" etc..  It's oh so slight but in these moments she looks trapped.

Regarding Crystal.  I really think she went into this season with pre-conceived notions about Sutton because she is friends with Teddi and Kathy.  And Teddi and Kyle appear to be genuine friends outside the show and you just know they had at least one conversation when the cast was decided about how on earth could they cut Teddi and give her spot to Sutton.  Some small town Georgia girl who no one knows at the country club and no one is actual friends with her.  They want Teddi to be a BH hw, not Sutton.

But networks are greedy for ratings.  If she doesn’t end up in jail, Erika Jane just might return.  I won’t watch.

Despite her gangster image, it was cowardly to go after the socially awkward Sutton, I wish Garcelle had taken her on.  But I got the feeling Garcelle didn’t want to upset  the elegance of the dinner occasion.  I wish they’d given that damn bell to shit stirrer Rinna when they were relaxing after the meal.  I wanted see the food porn.

This is the first time I’ve ever said anything nice about Rinna because I really CAN NOT STAND her, but I have to admit that she looked great in that blue pants suit at the dinner. She has the body to wear any clothes and look elegant.

After redeeming herself somewhat since earlier in the season, Crystal is back on my Do Not Like list…arrogant and dismissive about Sutton at her lunch.

I thought she looked great at her launch party, too, especially when she had the jacket on.  I thought the outfit, her hair and makeup were on point.

Now we've both said something nice about her.  Not about her character, obviously, but her ability to clean up well 😂

It was at the first meeting she called . A friend knew someone who worked at the firm that person caught wind of inappropriate accounting (assume it was in fact a financial employee) and left and that had happened ten years ago. I assume they saw all the money flying around in Toms life and none of the money owed to clients getting to them, and were like eine minuten bitte, I want no part of this bullshit.

The LA Times does mention that this was hardly unnoticed, and so does the Hulu doc, no one thought Tom's lifestyle was appropriate or made financial sense for someone working in this type of law/settlements. It's unseemly at best, and invites questions at worst and what do you know the walking talking duck was a duck. I suspect their were many many complaints and reports on him BTS that were scuttled by his incestuous relationship with The California Bar.

Shameless. And disgusting — because widows, orphans, and burn victims made this “great honor” possible. 🤮 She can’t get off my TV fast enough.

Not sure if this is what the poster means but they may be referring to the scene at Dorit's house where Sutton said she had a piece of gossip that apparently one of the partners in the law firm's wife, told him to leave the firm ten years ago. Because apparently this wife knew something wasn't right about the firm.

7 hours ago, Chatty Cake said:

When Crystal dismissed sexual harassment victims in the entertainment industry, what was her point?

YMMV except she wasn't dismissing sexual harassment victims.  Her point was that during the MeToo era none of the situations came back on Rob even if he'd worked with some of the men who were accused.

Therefore, suggesting that it was a bit silly for Sutton to assume that Erika's alleged crimes would negatively impact her. Now, I disagree that it was silly of Sutton to feel as she did because she has every right to worry about her reputation and any potential legal implications that may occur and to seek legal counsel about those concerns.

But I do not believe Crystal's point had anything to do with minimizing or dismissing or insulting sexual harassment victims or their circumstances. Her point was purely that others' crimes and allegations never impacted Rob even if he'd worked with some of these people.

Regarding Crystal and her apparent mean girl-ness, I refuse to rehash the saga of her and Sutton again for the ten millionth time because that horse has been sorely beaten. And at this point, it's a complete to each his own.

Because if one of the arguments to Crystal's evil, depth of mean girl-ness is that she zeroed in on weak Sutton and came after her as an easy target, then I'll never buy or co-sign that shit on account of the fact that it's a very revisionist version of what went down between the two.

I completely support Sutton's stance on the Erika situation but that doesn't mean I will absolve her of all her bad behavior, of which she did have in the her versus Crystal saga.

Crystal in my opinion is definitely a snooty and snarky person who has this slight distant personality that may be introversion or her Asian heritage or hell, her just simply not liking most humans. I completely see that about her. But that doesn't in my opinion, automatically make her some evil, manipulative mean girl who zeroed in on the poor, sensitive woman who did not do a single thing to her. Because once again, that's an awfully revisionist version of what happened.

Yes that was it! I thought it was the partner themselves that was seeing hinky stuff (which how does his wife know unless he's telling her things aren't adding up?)  but yes. How does the partner's wife know but Erika who is married to the man doing the dirty doesn't? C'mon. She is not a a babe in the forest even if she wasn't in knowing lockstep the whole time.

The way she said it, that Rob worked with some guys who had been "MeToo'd" absolutely does minimize and dismiss the sexual harassment victims.  By saying the men had been "MeToo'd" It actually makes the sexual harassers sound like they had been victimized by the women accusing them of sexual harassment or abuse.

It seems I have been variously misquoted so I will restate: never said Crystal was a "master mind" or  "the worst." I did say she is the deep down meanest and I stand by it.

Clearly, she saw right away that Sutton is quite vulnerable -- hard to miss.  So, she selected Sutton as the one to pick on.  Sutton barged in on Crystal and her reports to the group about Sutton went from "Whatever" to "THAT was rude" to "I was Violated!" to "She's Creepy!!" to "She Violated me...in a Creepy Way!!! I recall one scene from that time, when Sutton was just distraught and there was Crystal, watching from a distance with an icy smile... like, this is fun!!!  All the talk of forgiveness,  yet it's clear Crystal will never let it go. She enjoys Sutton feeling insecure and off-balance too much.

Demanding Sutton admit she is "one of those 'I don't see color girls'" so she could lace into her. Yet, Kathy Hilton admitted to actually adopting that way of thinking and we got a 'no comment" from Miss Crystal. Then, the dinner at Crystal's home this last episode where Sutton got trashed  for being a nobody-- from Augusta! How dare she think she is our equal!  So, yeah, she broadcasts her lack of respect and regard for Sutton to the others whenever she gets the chance.

Now, if we are talking about the most destructive force in the universe from among these women, EJ takes that prize all day, every day. But EJ, like the others, lashes out viciously out of fear-- fear of being revealed as the fraud and liar she is, fear of being "caught",  fear of losing whatever position she thinks she occupies. She and they lash out to shut the others up. Still,  I don't get the sense that  EJ necessarily enjoys it.

Crystal enjoys it. She enjoys seeing Sutton uncomfortable.  Remember "let the mouse go?"  That is the perfect image for Crystal!   A cat batting an injured mouse around, just for the fun of it.  She isn't the mastermind or "the worst", but she is the deep down meanest--

Wow, @BluishGreen!  This analysis of Crystal is very thoughtful.

I hope Erika stays all the way to the point where she loses it all.  I can't stand this vile human being and never have liked her.  I just wish someone, anyone would stand up to the skank.  I think Sutton backed down a bit because that "middle linebacker" towers over her and that is probably a bit intimidating, it would be to me.  I think Erika could get her back against a wall and hit or shank someone. I'm all in to watch her fall from grace.

Then suddenly an about face and Crystal is accusing Sutton of 'Violating' her.  Crystal mentioned what happened to the other housewives in private and with each telling Sutton's throwaway comment of ''I don't know what's going on in here" became more like a Disney villians,'' Weeellll... I don't know what YOU'RE up to in here.... heeheehee!" as Crystal told it.  Either you accept someone's apology to their face and drop it or you do like Crystal and keep spreading the 'horror' you felt as you were 'violated' by Sutton staring at your naked body.  I still think she's trying for a storyline and picked on someone who she saw the other's hadn't completely jelled with last season.  It could have been all producer driven.  But it was mean girl in my opinion.  Probably because the Tom/Erika story wasn't enough to make interesting shows yet.  I don't like to see someone picked on and Sutton has been picked on by Crystal in the earlier shows.  Of course, Crystal is NO WHERE NEAR the mean girl level of Kyle and especially the truly heartless Rinna.

However a Mean Girl Crystal might be, she never accused Sutton of violating her and she didn't start picking on Sutton. Her first clue that Sutton even was awkward came from Sutton jumping down her throat. If anybody's setting up Sutton this season it's Kyle and Rinna, the ones who keep throwing her under the bus Ericka's driving. Crystal isn't being much help, but she's not leading any big crusade against Sutton.

Actually, one way it's unfortunate Sutton isn't less awkward is the way she keeps approaching Erika. As they put it on Watch What Crappens, she keeps letting herself be put on the defensive by going at Erika apologetically instead of just saying that Erika keeps lying and so Sutton is right to be annoyed.

What does that matter when nobody's making that the main issue anyway? She should know very well what he did now and we're seeing her reactions to that. That's what people are reacting to. She's furious at Sutton, furious at the other women...defensive of Tom, for some reason. (Once she stopped telling us he was mean to her all those years.)

Right and they keep seating her next to Erika!!

As far as Crystal goes I actually still really like her, she's smarter then most of these women, and the between the dumpling party and the peking duck, I am here for the food porn alone, and even her being mean girl is a little bit fun.

That's all fine, but I think her attack points are way off base: Sutton's awkwardness/social anxiety, and this whole Mariah Carey I don't know her thing is just reading as super bitchy and and more about her own insecurities than it is about Sutton being 'ridiculous'.  There are legit reasons for her to have issues with Sutton, the race comment alone, but her issues with Sutton aren't about the LEGIT beefs it's over this petty I'm more popular than you bs. And I still think the Me Too comment is hugely problematic and is in fact the whole problem, people Rob who continue to work with abusers is as much of the problem as are the actual abusive people.

I don't care if Kathy is dismissive, she's down to earth in the weird way that she really doesn't have anything to prove to anyone and mostly wants to make it nice be it Taco Bell take out or Baccarat crystal. I don't think or care if she's a really good person, but she's fun to watch. The one time I wasn't on Garcelle's side is when she acted like Paris being a bimbo at parties was some awful failing Kathy had to account for, and Kathy stayed pretty calm in the face of an honest but IMO offsides question. I generally think Garcelle has good intention, but there I thought she was trying to bait Kathy over something extremely trivial.

Yes, I am not sure how this has once again become about Big Bad Mean Girl Chrystal targeting Poor Fragile Weak Sutton.

If anything, this situation has shown to me that Sutton is NOT the fragile weak woman that she was projecting during her whole conflict with Crystal. Someone said this over the last couple of weeks and I agree with it - the main difference is that Sutton knew she wasn't on solid ground when it came to her issues with Crystal, so she was resorting to fragile tears. But in this situation, Sutton understands that she's probably in the right, so it's easier for her to project some strength.

And you know what? That's fine, It's a pretty human reaction.

But anyway, neither Sutton nor Crystal are the bad guys here.  Erika is the one who has created this whole play. Crystal is but a minor player in it.

Yes, Sutton and Crystal are both saints in comparison to Erika. Hell, I'd like to think even Brandi Glanville would have been horrified if her husband stole from orphans and widows.

*shallow comment warning*

WHY does Kyle constantly lick the corners of her mouth?!  It's positively reptilian and I do NOT understand why, after eleventy-million episodes of this shitshow (because you know she watches her scenes time and time and TIME AGAIN) she does not rid herself of this disgusting habit.

I'd post a gif here, but I've less than no idea how to do it and for those of you who haven't noticed it, you lucky souls, I don't want to give you nightmares.

Oh so it’s just those 5 who make the show according to the scammer? I hope Garcelle is paying attention. This woman hates you please stop coddling her.

Not surprised at this, and definitely not surprised that Sutton’s not included, either.

Well, Erika did say she would remember who was with her and who was against her. I’m sure Garcelle and Sutton are hiding under their beds, shaking in fear of the Wrath of Erika. Crystal’s not on there (at least in the screenshot) so I guess Crystal doesn’t yet have “status.”

What’s next, blocking those two on Twitter and Insta? Pretty Mess? More like Petty Mess. Or just Mess.

What bothers me is that Sutton went on WWHL and said she "loves" Erika.  Andy nodded in approval.

Eh, they all are kiss asses.  Phonies.  Andy the most.  Kathy says the truth and doesn’t care.  Btw, how is Kim doing?  She is the real Star of the family.  I feel bad for her.
