  1. One thing very clear so far is Kody an absolute ass and his ego is so bruised and angry by the couch sessions he saw of Christine this season that by the time they did this tell all his mission was to destroy her. In doing so he only hurts and alienates his kids even more as it can't feel great for them to see their father tell millions that the only reason they exist is because Kody wanted a little bit of polygamy royalty to boost his standing/ego. Wow...... I can see why Janelle gave up, he really is a bitter angry old man now with no consideration for 13 of his 18 children. And if any of his daughters (Mykelti aside) thought he respected women because he wasn't as bad as some in their church I think he helped them see the light with the way he sh** all over their mothers. And Robyn is as egocentric and clueless as he is.
  2. Not only that. But we find out this episode that he went looking for a third wife to try to stop his first wife from being a b***h to the second wife?
  3. The most interesting thing this episode was the asset conversation. I find with this show you have to puzzle things together, often from past series, to made educated guesses as to what is really going on. So when they moved to LV and were building their homes they all took an equal share from the family pot to each build their own homes of similar value (with Kody's name on each). Prior to this they all lived in the one house in Utah. And Robyn came in with her 3 children and about $35 000 of debt right? And in one of the series Kody said that if any of the wives chose to leave that they have their own house as their asset. Although I suspect there were math issues for Kody when it came to what share he owned in each of the four houses ;) Time to move to Flagstaff and all the homes are put up for sale, some sell faster than others. They buy Coyote Pass and then look for rentals while they build. But Christine chooses to buy instead of rent (I suspect Christine was very adamant she wasn't going to be rental hoping again as they did when they moved to Vegas). So the family fund agrees to give Christine the downpayment and the bulk of it comes when the first house sells, which was Robyn's IIRC, as that is the only way I can imagine Kody making the claim that he and Robyn gave her the money for that. Disingenuous of him as clearly as each house sold that money went back into the pot. But then we get multiple episodes of Robyn crying and praying to god they find a rental because she doesn't want to buy and delay building out on Coyote Pass. She is leaving it all in God's hands and God apparently wants her to buy a home worth close to a million dollars. And the money for that, as per Janelle this episode, came from the same family pot as the downpayment for Christine's home. And with that the family pot is depleted. But we also learned last episode or so when Kody is whining about the RV that there were in fact PLENTY of rental properties but apparently none of them were good enough for Robyn. But clearly just fine for Janelle. And now we have a situation this episode where we see Janelle did indeed buy the RV and park it out on Coyote Pass to force their hand into committing to build out there. Kody is saying the money is gone but Janelle seems to indicate it was depleted after the homes for Christine and Robyn were bought but is back to the same level again as when they agreed to give Robyn the downpayment for her home. So Janelle wasn't an idiot for buying the RV. It is an asset after all. It will depreciate unlike a home BUT it can also be a home for her when everything goes tits up. Just park it in a warmer climate somewhere if desperate times roll in. But I think this is Janelle's ultimatum to Kody. This is her version of Ysabel's surgery. She has no wish to be tucked away forgotten in a rental any longer. She likes the land they bought and seems happy enough to build a home there that she owns and live her life. So I see it as a move to put the others (Kody, Robyn and Meri) on the spot and to live up to their pledge to pay off that land so she can start her build. I will say that Kody only has to watch his own show to see why his kids with Janelle and Christine may have lost respect for him because the message he is sending out to Christine's kids is I never loved your mother but I did her a favour kissing her, holding her hand and donating my sperm. And to Janelle's kids that she just something to be tucked away in a rental and forgotten about and not worthy of fulfilling a pledge to her (and them) to set it up so that she can build her own damn home to live it while he makes sure Robyn has a stable place to call home.
  4. I was saying when Kody said he heard from other wives that Christine had been talking about leaving for a long time that what her really meant was "Robyn told me ", not his "other wives". I can't help but wonder if Kody floated the idea of moving to Utah with Robyn and that Robyn told him Flagstaff wasn't the problem, that Christine was talking about leaving him long before Flagstaff. The reason I think this conversation might have taken place is because Christine really felt that Kody was on board somewhat with the idea for her to feel so played when she brought it up to the group and Kody acted like it was a crazy suggestion.
  5. So... "truth be told Meri, she was talking about leaving Kody before Flagstaff"... So earlier when Kody said that the reason he wasn't being intimate with Christine was that she betrayed him and had been telling other wives he was leaving her long ago, it was ROBYN who told him that. Both Robyn and Kody really want to make it clear (or sell) the idea that the move to Flagstaff had nothing to do and/or added to their problems.
  6. I am really curious about the preview this episode for part 3. We are shown Rinna saying asking Kathy what she expected of her when she threatened to destroy her sister and Kyle is talking over Kathy as Kathy is responding. And the hysterical tears from Kyle I don't get. I have a theory as to what might be going on behind the scenes that has Kyle such an emotional basketcase because I just don't think Kathy being an ass (and potentially saying some very problematic things) getting exposed warrants the level of crying we are seeing from Kyle. It's reminding me of the season of the dog.
  7. I assumed the group chat was the FFF ie.. Kyle, Rinna, Erika, Dorit, Teddi . They do still have a group chat for at least those ladies as Teddi has mentioned it this season. Someone told Garcelle about the garbage and them snickering about it in group chat and I can't imagine Rinna, Erika, Dorit or Teddi doing so. But I can envision a situation where it could have come from Kyle to Garcelle through Kathy(or Crystal). So I think there are two group chats. One for the WHOLE current cast and a second one still exists for the FFF where that clique discusses things separately. I have listened to some podcasts since the Kathy drama and I feel Teddi knows too much to have it just come from Kyle. I think a lot of it comes from that group chat.
  8. So is he insisting on a legal 50/50 shared custody to avoid her trying to claim child support? Could that be his real motivation? I know couples who do 50/50 and avoid child support due to that. Not sure how it works in the US though. Or individual states, is Utah more likely to grant Christine child support vs Arizona?
  9. I can't imagine how Garcelle will feel watching tonights episode after the previews I just watched. Especially the bit of Rinna and Erika in their dressing room coming to the conclusion that all of their children have been threatened and going on about Jax is a design to cause division in the group. I'd laugh if it wasn't so painful to witness. I also loathe how the self-named Peaky Blinders (ironic considering the above talk of division) in their talk of actual death threats against them don't seem to grasp how a black person might perceive a tweet about a knee on their neck.... are they really that obtuse?
  10. The whole thing about Garcelle naming the person behind the bots on Sunday was the result of people hearing something and making assumptions. She did apparently say she hoped to know soon who was behind it but she didn't actually say she knew who it was. She also posted about this that was airing Sunday 10pm I think early on in the gossip chain someone conflated the two things and declared that Garcelle would be naming the person behind the bots 10pm Sunday night.... But it is an interesting interview even if there is no bot talk or big reveal ;)
  11. A few thoughts from this episode. 1. I cut Tony some slack, I think he was just trying to find a way to say he isn't shocked Christine is leaving Kody without trying to offend either of his in laws. What I think Tony really means is polygamy just doesn't work, that it's impossible to have equal relationships with multiple women and someone will always be the favourite wife and others just a basement wife. 2. I wonder if there was a lot more thought put into the RV purchase by Janelle than it seems on the surface. Whether conscious or subconscious she may have been forcing Kody and the others into taking concrete steps to start developing that land instead of using it as a plot line. To see where they really fall in their desire to actually build and live there or whether buying separate homes around town was her future. What was interesting and new (to me anyway) is how the reason they never started work on that land is because they haven't paid for it and can't pay for it yet. I do remember when Robyn was praying for God to find them a rental instead of buying that house was because it would delay building out on their land. Also learned this episode (and maybe last) that to reconfigure the four plots into five they have to pay off the land etc.... so if Christine is buggering off you would think it would be easier by just keeping the four plots as purchased. But Kody still wants five plots for two rentals? Who the hell would want to rent out there and live in the middle of that family? It also became crystal clear this episode why Janelle (especially) really didn't want Meri to have the plot with the "pond" based on her reaction to the possibility of Janelle pouring a concrete base on Meri's plot to park her RV. But kudos to the editors for piecing together an episode where Meri and Robyn wax on about how the odd party is the reason to stay in a shitty marriage and then out of the other side of their mouth express such distaste that Janelle would even think to park herself on their vacant undeveloped plots of land for a few months.
  12. Maybe this has been pointed out already but based on some recent posts I think the reason Rinna went so hard for Kathy was because the opportunity presented itself to her (and Erika) immediately after Erika had a big meltdown that she and her friends knew was a disaster. As well as Rinna having some a number of outbursts during the filming of this season. I 100% believe Kathy had a meltdown. We saw the seeds that were planted in the 24 hours leading up to that meltdown. I wouldn't even be surprised if she said something nasty to the DJ. Something about her behaviour had the manager allegedly telling her to go back to LA. And if we ignore Rinna, Erika and Diana we still have Crystal telling us she was trying to leave with Kathy because she was pissed. Sutton told us Kathy was upset nobody would conga with her AND told her if you don't leave with me you aren't my friend. Kyle acknowledges Kathy wanted to leave and Kyle don't her no etc... So he was pissed off and if we believe Rinna that she talked shit about everyone (except Garcelle and Rinna) then she was clearly venting about everyone at the club who didn't leave with her. And Kathy apologised to a number of them. BUT I 100% believe Rinna and Erika are using this to deflect from their own behaviour and to change the final conflict for this series. Because I also believe Erika said a lot of shitty about all of the very same people when they dragged her out to cover her ass and get her away from the cameras. So I don't believe Rinna locked her bedroom door because she was scared.....
  13. Well this is really disappointing if it's true that they are actually negotiating with her to come back for season 13 :( https://radaronline.com/p/lisa-rinna-demanding-2-million-rhobh-real-housewives-season-13/
  14. I think Kathy has played up her ditzy side since she came on this show. And fine because they all show what they want to show. Seeing how angry she got about the tequila I can very well believe she got angry about not being able to conga and left in a snit. But do I think Rinna and Erika were beyond thrilled this fell into their lap and they played it up and made it THE Aspen story. Absolutely. I mean Rinna and Erika had their own unhinged outbursts this season. And I take what Diana says in the preview with the tiniest grain of salt considering how she described what Sutton did to her in Mexico as bad as she did. I also think Kathy would have been pissed at Kyle for not going home with her. This all happens the same day Kyle went from crying like a wounded puppy because the mean girls blanked her and her hat trip but then as soon as she made up with Erika in that backroom at the bar she was all over them again telling the other ladies to put a pin in it. I think there is a pattern here of Kyle choosing her show friends over her s Things that confuse me from the preview coupled with things we saw earlier: -Crystal said somewhere that more of them were going to leave but it was taking her so long to get her coat (for some reason Rinna made it into the club with her coat) that she told them to go ahead. So at least Crystal was going to leave in that car with them. -There are older previews of Kathy standing in what looks like a open garage saying she is soooo pissed off and wanting to leave. After watching the preview of them talking on the plane does it appear Kyle and Maurizio just left the house with Kathy in it and didnt' say goodbye? Kyle who was so distraught that Erika moved out the previous night without talking to her just walked out of her own house in Aspen without saying goodbye or any sort of contact? Alls very very bizarre.
  15. The burning question for me, after this episode, was how does the brand Ogier feel now about their decision to market themselves on the show when Dorit walks in claiming everything is so chic just a few episodes after she claimed a wind chime was the chicest wind chime she had ever seen. And on that note of product placement and all the drama surrounding tequila did we all catch the bottle Dorit was holding (name to camera) in that store....
