 I only watched a few minutes of the reunion. When the cabin switch was brought up, Andy asked Sandy who was in charge of cabin assignments. She said the first oficer and that would be Malia becaue she was the bosun. And she got away with saying this. Or maybe Sandy secretly promoted Malia to first officer.   Also when Captain Lee was on WWHL he was asked that question and he said the chief stew makes the cabin assignments.  Every Below Deck that I have watched  the chief stew makes the cabin assignments as the crew comes on the boat. Sandy was particularly snide and nasty.

Why is nobody calling Sandy out on her comment about how the boat could be incarcerated??? How do you arrest a boat? Is there some enormous maritime jail for incarcerated boats as they await trial? Sandy is such a bitch. She absolutely has had favorites. I still say the original 3rd stew was a plant, wouldn’t be surprised if Sandy or a friend of hers recommended her to production. She knew that she’d walk or be fired, and absolutely knew Bugsy was available. Honestly think Sandy is that conniving so she could have her dream crew. That Tom was magically available was so suspect, too. 
Sandy, if you’re such a professional, you would know by now chefs are creative people and can be very temperamental. If you get in their head, you can most certainly tear down their creativity and confidence- exactly what she did to Kiko. Sandy is a mean girl who now is in charge of a ship. 
Why didn’t anyone ask about her extreme micro management style? Only her toadies think that’s a great way to manage, as long as they’re in her good graces.

The hardest part of arresting a boat is waiting for it to find a jacket large enough to hide its bow before you perp-dock it in front of everyone.

I assume you arrest a boat the same way you fire someone for prescribed medication that you insist on calling "drugs" as if you're a Maritime Florrie Fisher: With disordered thinking, no bail(ing), and relying on a bosun who really doesn't love you back.

I'm just an unfrozen maritime lawyer and even I've never seen a deeper crevasse than the one Sandy has that Malia's currently all up in.

Tom literally got argumentative with Sandy over something so stupid and she felt the need to call him out during the meeting, yet Kiko was the one who couldn't get ahold of his emotions. Not to mention Kiko would have NEVER spoken in such a disgusting way to a stew like Tom did to Aesha.

I'm only half way through and I already feel the need to watch something else, I can feel my blood pressure rising significantly lol

Also, Sandy is awful. Just AWFUL.

If Hannah did not have anything to put in that pen then what is the big deal?

Did Hannah take any of the valium from that package?

I watched an old episode with Capt. Lee and a stew, she forgot to register her meds with Lee so mid charter she brought the meds to him, he documented it and that was it...why couldn't Sandy have done the same?

Those tides can turn quickly, at some point Malia will be out of favor faster than she can say how meters they are from the dock.  Sandy moves from one favorite to another, she has no loyalty, if there is a chance to throw someone under the bus to make herself look better you better believe she will do it. 

Sandy strikes me as someone that loves certain qualities in person but quickly decides that those qualities now bother her.

Sandy can't keep her story straight about how she made certain decisions. On the show she defended her decision by saying that Tom outranked Hannah and that it was up to him to decide on cabin assignments.  Shortly after the cabin debacle aired and she got major blowback she said that she handled the cabin change incorrectly and should not have done what she did but she was frustrated that they meaning Malia and Hannah couldn't make a decision. Now at the reunion she is saying that the first officer makes the cabin assignments. When have we ever seen this? I thought that the chief stew handled the interior of the boat. She actually said that Malia as bosun was the first officer and no one called her on this. First she fired Hannah because of having drugs on the boat and then it was not because of drugs but because she lost trust in Hannah. So it looks like it is going to be back to drugs on the boat. Sandy appear desperate to keep this gig and will do anything and say anyting to do so right down to crying at a staff meeting. And I never liked Hannah until this season.

I agree!  Because now that he threw in that bullshit about the manufacturer of the CBD vape pen, the entire narrative of the story will change.  At the time of the situation, during filming, it was said that it was a CBD vape.  Sandy, at that moment, did not have the time or presence of mind to research with the maufacturer the type of vape it was.  Now, the story will change during the reunion.  

(And, I'm calling shady shennanigans on that, as well.  Maybe wherever Hannah purchased it told her it was for CBD use.

While I'm impressed with Hannah for keeping things classy so far, I'm also getting frustrated because I want her to rage at Sandy and call her out.  I don't think that Hannah will do that.

I know I veer from the board, but Hannah seemed miserable from minute zero on this boat.  Honestly, she seems completely miserable, period.  I have been team Hannah from way back, even over Kate.  This season she was such a misplaced person, though.  I don't care how obnoxious and terrible a human being Lara was, Hannah's reaction to her when she was touched was ridiculous.

Question:  If Malia had found drugs on Tom, would she have reported them?  I always thought Tom was on something.

The resentment of Hannah was on full throttle.  It pissed me off.  The woman wanted a life outside of yachting.  For a stewardess there really isn't anything after Chief Stew is there?  I mean the deck crew can aspire to be captains, but what of the stewardess?  Hannah saw that it was a dead end job, and she's not wrong to feel that way.  Many people tell themselves, "I'll stop doing this when...." and then, before they know it, fifteen years have gone by and their still in the same spot.  

Hannah saw herself going nowhere if she stayed on that job and it looks like she's going to have a different life.  Good for her.

Sandy is just a big ball of resentments, I'm done with her.  She's a total famewhore.  That's why she's always in the galley, that's what she's always checking to see if the guests are happy with the food.  She knows that's where the camera is.  How many times has Captain Lee gone into the galley to check on the chef?

The BEST thing about the night was the map (or whatever it was) hung on the wall behind Clueless Captain Sandy (“CCS”.) During the first part of the show, it still had the protective foam packing pieces on the corners of the frame! (Later in the show, they mysteriously disappeared - someone must have told CCS that they were supposed to be removed once you take the piece out of its packing carton!)

Maybe the fearless captain liked how they looked and thought they were part of the frame - if so, as Bugs Bunny used to say, “What a maroon!” 🤣

The more Sandy tries to justify her actions the more unlikeable she gets. The "favorites" should take note of this - your time is coming.  I think Bugsy has a clue but I think Malia will just go ahead being Sandy's lackey as long as she gets what she wants (after all, didn't it work for Joao?).  And what hypocrisy - she said if Hannah had told her what was going on with Lara she would have fired her but we all saw that isn't what happened.  Unfortunately she has cemented her job because Bravo loves the controversy.

I think she has bad trout mouth - she needs to talk to whomever does her facial work because it isn't aging well.

Joao was smart to "jump ship" when he did.  Otherwise his relationship with Sandy probably would have soured.

Sandy's flat out lies were unbelievable. 

First, there was the statement that Malia was first officer. We know that's not true because we have seen the first officer. And here is an article about Below Deck that proves it.

Then there was Sandy's irrational response about Hannah and the Valium. First she said that all prescription drugs need to be registered. But then she said no one can work on a vessel if they take Valium. So following this logic, registering the meds would be a non-issue because no one who takes anti-anxiety meds could be hired in the first place. 

These reunion shows need to provide fact-checking as much as the political debates do!
