Did anyone else catch the commercial for “John Wick 3” tonight? They cut from RHOBH to Angelica Huston uttering the line, “All of this because of a puppy?” This was literally the first line in the preview. Then Keanu Reeves replies, “it wasn’t just a puppy.” 😂

If this is actual purposeful integration, it’s amazing (unlike last week’s RHONY).

I actually do like Erika when she chows down.  I've been known to have apple pie for breakfast many post-holiday mornings.  Never tried spray cheese though - but now I'm curious...

This episode was kinda nice without LVP. More light-hearted but for a few minutes here and there.  Even Dorit made me laugh as she mimed someone asking for a happy ending.

BTW happy endings are illegal right?  Did Denise do a dumb thing admitting this on camera?

I was shocked by how much I liked this show without the old lady.  It was so light and fun when they were shopping at the supermarket and I was like, "gee, what is different? Hmm...". I didn't realize what an old lady LVP struck me as until she was gone.  I'm not talking about her chronological age, as I think Eileen would have fit right in, and she is older than LVP, and Rinna is not much younger and she fit right in.  I am talking about LVP's attitude.  I just realized--she is never out of her comfort zone.  What a killjoy.  When I saw her in the prewievs for next week, with her same old husband, the same pastel colors, the same minion (I guess that is "Dr Minion" to me), I was very disappointed.  I know I am contradicting myself from last week (and will likely contradict myself again), but I don't want to see LVP again, on any show.  I hope she gets a spinoff, so I won't have to watch.

Since I'm gearing up to get no likes (what are you gonna do?), I may as well say that I don't really like Denise.  Let's just say I don't love her.  I am over the permanently dubious expression on her face that seems to constantly be saying, "what the fuck am I doing here?"  You are here, my friend, and getting paid well, to create drama and show your life.  It irks me that she pretends to be so normal.  If you were that normal...we wouldn't be interested.

Not to take away from the sex talk.  I thought the sex talk was fun, normal, appropriate, and organic.  No one seemed like they were forcing their sexy down anyone else's throats, which is a wildly positive change for Bravo.

I know people are going to say that they were all talking about LVP all the time, but I think they would have talked about other things if LVP had never been a presence.  I am sure there would have been discord between Teddi and Camille (which I am absolutely living for--that was a great fight) about something else.  I'm sure Kyle and Dorit would have hashed it out about something else.  Dorit came off good this episode.  Sometimes I watch her and I forget who I'm watching, and I start to think she has a brain in her head.  Rinna cracked me up when she was like, "I'm the oldest fucking one in the group!"  I liked the real talk on the way home about body image, until Teddi Mayor Hands Mellencamp made it all about accountability.  Did I say killjoy yet?  Yeah...Teddi can follow LVP off this show as far as I'm concerned.

It kills me to say this, but I think Erika may be my favorite these days.  I never drank the Erika Flavor-Aid.  I thought she came on the show as a know-it-all and a boss and a bully, and she has remained that way...until this season.  She is really cool this season.  So far.

In sum, I don't really like any of them, I like some more than others, but I like them as an ensemble, and I think LVP, whether through her fault or not, is dead weight, and if every episode was like this one, I would watch this franchise and not complain until it was cancelled. 

Oh, while I am saying wildly unpopular things...I have found that I have been subconsciously looking forward to Erika's and Dorit's fashion each week before the episode.  

Going to officially slink off to my party of one now...

It was a pretty good episode.  Even if LVP was talking to them, she wouldn't go glamping.  The show can and will survive LVP.

I get Kyle and her Lyme protection boots.  I've pulled my fair share of ticks that have managed to climb up my legs and make a home behind my knees.

Camille is working hard for her diamond. 

I liked Denise's stories just for the shock value to the other women.  No mention of Charlie?

Erika was cool this episode.  Alabama, or is it Georgia, girl coming out.

My rent is $850 a month. They almost bought my entire housing budget for the month.

I did not miss VDP at all, and thought the camping trip looked like fun.  PK's apology text looked okay, Kyle seemed fine with it, and Teddi and Rinna need to quit trying to make it a thing.

I guess there must really be a VDP dog spinoff coming - previews show LVP doing the kitchen reveal tone of those Johns.  I never even heard of them before this season and now they're everywhere - but I don't need to know them because I won't be watching that one.

Technically, they are.  But she never said she actually paid for the happy ending massage.  And she didn't say where she got it. It could have been somewhere where sex work is legal. I doubt she faces any legal repercussions. 

I'm more concerned with what kind of establishment she went to because low cost massage parlors can be a hot bed of sex trafficking.

So this was my kind of episode.  I didn't feel the urge to fast forward once.  All the fights were minimal and didn't last long.  I don't like a lot of 'reality' drama which is probably why I'm usually a first-season-only viewer of a lot of Bravo shows before things get really deep and personal. 

Lisa cracked me up with her cracks about not messing up the plastic in her face during massages.

The sex talk was great because of all of the reactions everyone had to Denise's confession.  Those were just great moments, especially when Teddi asked Denise if she watched and Denise, shocked, said "no" forcing Teddi to point out how silly it was for Denise to think that was crazy. I was a little surprised how few of the woman had heard of the prostate massage technique.  

Dorit's spread eagle was probably the most I've ever liked Dorit. 

Only Camille made me roll my eyes a bit.  I get that she thinks Teddi shouldn't interject her opinion and she might be right some of the time but when you're all sitting around a table talking about stuff---that's probably not the time to enforce that rule.

I can't believe how far Teddi has fallen- she's gotten to the point where everything she does annoys me.  Her foghorn voice cutting into everyone's conversation (like that anti-smoking ad with the puppets talking about vaping)

Well, that is a very good point.

But, everyone who is aware of anything knows that Charlie Sheen is a nutjob and always has been, so that embarrassment is already in the books.  

Having your Mom discuss random "happy endings", their new step-father's penis size and announcing to the world that she has sex every morning is just not something a teenage girl wants to hear or try to explain to her friends, imo.  (Maybe I am a prude?  LOL)

You’re not a prude (or maybe I am one too?). I hope therapy costs are factored into the child support.

ETA: I don’t really care what consenting adults are doing sexually (although I do worry, as someone mentioned above, about the women who are often forced to work in such places). But it seems inappropriate to share this publicly, especially given the age her daughters are.

Kyle is a Birkin Bag full of anxieties, isn't she?  She's afraid of heights, she's afraid of bugs, she's afraid of letting her daughters go away, she's afraid of just about everything - except she's not afraid to go to her friend's house and call her a liar.

I get wearing the boots because of ticks, though.  She saw what happened to Yolanda because Yolanda had Lyme disease (well, we think she did, anyway.....).  But, in all fairness, I have friends who have had Lyme disease, and it is no joke.  She was being smart.  

But when they were walking through the woods, and she mentioned something about Zika, I just about lost it.  She is certainly "up" on all her diseases that can be carried by insects.  I'm surprised she didn't bring up malaria!!  

Did anyone else notice, though, that she did say she misses LVP?  I think Kyle is beginning to regret her part in all of this.

Kyle has GAD.  I get it.  Her saying she misses LVP is part of her GAD.  You're always questioning yourself.  With that said, didn't LVP state she was a bit much at that encounter at Villa Rosa?  This isn't all on Kyle with LVP.  Kenny was over the top.  LVP never lies?  Yeah, no.  Between watching this and VPR there's a vibe about the Todds' that they've feeling themselves a bit too much and the people around them have gotten a bit tired.

This episode was kinda fun. 

Camille and Denise are very similar with regards to being very sexually open.  I'm not a prude but they're a pair of kinky broads. I'm sure some of stuff they did  would probably shock even the most seasoned escort. That said, I'd love to read a saucy bio about their lives. 

Teddi is a know-it-all annoying goody two shoes type who never takes a day off from getting up at the crack of dawn to jog 3.2 miles. 

Seriously...Give me Erika chowing down on cheez whiz, and pumpkin pie any day of the week. 

Next week preview: It looks as if John Sessa is LVP's new pet. I literally get an angry disgusted feeling  whenever my eyes clap on to his frozen face and watch him robotically walk around in his extra small tight shirt that is opened too much exposing his white hairless chest.

I hate agreeing with Camille about anything, but Teddi is an annoying know-it-all. 

I can’t take any lecture about positive body image and self-acceptance from a group of women who are nearly single-handedly supporting the plastic surgery industry. The constant soft-focus filter this season is a real annoyance. I can barely make Kyle out during her talking head interviews. If they go any heavier on the soft focus camera, all we’ll see is an indistinguishable blob. These women don’t know anything about being comfortable with their imperfections.
