Why is this Christian’s responsibliity? I ask this to myself every week about the family members. They haven’t shown him sneaking her food or encouraging her to cheat on her diet. He’s sick and tired of being a caregiver to a whiner who has this opportunity to lose weight with a great diet. She won’t take any responsibility for herself. There is nothing he needs to do to make her lose weight. She’s gaining (or not losing) because of her - not him.

Many of the pounders look like I did as child/teen, but I stopped gaining weight once I hit my adult height at 14!! I wasn’t trying then (didn’t start watching my weight until 18) and I will go up and down but in my head most obese children will stop gaining when they hit their adult height (save for a pregnancy or injury). I’m fat but I’m a “normal” fat these days (im 5’7 and wear a 16/18).

The mother is a piece of work, and only wants Christian to stay "to get her through this" so Mom and Grandma won't have to come to Houston.

If I see the eye pimples on that woman on the Dr. Pimple Popper commercial again, I'm going to lose my lunch.    And Whitney Thore can get off my TV.

You guys....I don't think Christian is a jerk.  I think he's just done.  Maybe he's been done for a long time, but he feels guilty/trapped because of Maja's weight struggles.

Edit: And I think he doesn't want to do this break-up on camera, which I don't blame him for.  I'll bet he never wanted to be on TV in the first place.
