Yeah they do try to fake us out for sure. I didn't watch that trio because I try to avoid them as it is. The whole Adam thing though.....I'd be pissed AF if his parents were breaking court rules. They just don't get it. I wonder if Chelsea is bound by law to send Aubree. I sure as hell wouldn't after that transgression.

As the years past we are seeing more of the type of home enviorment Adam grew up in. Because they were not on the show I assumed (being me) that they were people who had a child that was a fuck up but wanted to do right by their grandchild (that happens often enough); but after Adam’s continued arrests, DUIs, brushes with the law etc I’m just like ?.

 

For a long time I thought Ryan on TM:OG had a TBI and was somewhat disabled from his bad dirt bike accident because I just COULD NOT see his parents allowing drug use in their home. But look what we all learned from that incident. I’m just shaking my head.

At this point, it feels like Chelsea and Leah are the only functioning mature adults on this show. I don't know how that happened, and yet here we are.

Chelsea impressed me by assessing the situation with Adam's parents and immediately lawyering up, putting pressure on them so it would be clear that they can't allow Adam to visit Aubree outside of the visitation center. She stood her ground and put her daughter first, even though she risked pissing off Aubree's grandparents. It was also good to see that Cole unequivocally has her back when it comes to Aubree, and that even though Chelsea is capable of handling her business by herself, she always has Cole's support.

Leah is managing an immeasurably difficult battle of her daughter's health by putting on a brave face, drumming up enthusiasm and smiles for Ali, doing everything she can to make that little girl's life as comfortable and happy as possible. I can't imagine the pain of knowing your child's condition is declining, knowing that something as vital as her lung function is impaired, and knowing there's not a thing you can do to stop it. It's a day-to-day fear Leah lives in, and I have tremendous respect for her ability to put on her game face and advocate for Ali's health no matter what.

The less said about Javi/Kail/Briana, the better. Javi flew to Florida, picked a petty fight about whether it should be him or Dre who would have the pleasure of wiping Briana's ass, was rightfully told off by Roxanne, and then goes home to Delaware to kiss Kail's ass? What even, dude. Stop ping-ponging between women searching for the most flattering camera angle, 'cause at this point I don't think there is one.

It's truly frightening to hear Jenelle call David her "security blanket" and imply that she can't function without him. That kind of deeply entrenched dysfunction would be bad enough on its own, but add in David and Jenelle's violence tendencies, substance abuse problems, and access to weapons, and we have the perfect ticking time bomb. Barb's got to feel so helpless, wanting to do everything she can to protect her grandkids but being constrained within the boundaries of the law. She can't just scoop them up and keep them safe and love them the way they deserve, she has to play by the book and pray that none of the kids get hurt in the meantime.

Jenelle: Barb handled news really calmly during the first exchange of Jace, offered two good suggestions, and props to her for that cause I would have whacked Jenelle with a tire iron. Good for her for looking out for Kaiser.

Leah:  Sad for Ali as usual, fast forward. Ali’s life is unimaginable to me, even with me having watched a lot of it. I guess the show is good for her in a sense that it provides a lot of extra income for health insurance.

Am I hallucinating this?  Jenelle follows someone home, hits someone’s mailbox, pulls out a gun on a stranger, yells at her child for not lying about something that’s been filmed and then promptly decides the best thing to do is to give the child a toy gun?   Because this poor child hasn’t been tormented enough by guns today?   And it’s such a good idea to give a child in therapy with anger issues a toy gun that shoots darts (well I guess maybe she thinks it’s an opportunity to give him something to bond over with David).

So, when Nathan wanted to take Kaiser for home visits, Jenelle was so adamant that he couldn't because Kaiser didn't have a crib or a high chair, etc., but Jenelle can have Jace in the front seat and without a booster? I didn't realize Jace met the front seat height requirement. He seems petite like his mom. I hope Barbara and Nathan showed the judge the film. That cow has no business being responsible for children.

I think I was in too much shock last week to post, but did you notice how Janelle never focused on Jace during the whole tailgating ordeal - not once.  She didn't look at him, talk to him, try to comfort or reassure him - nothing.  I can't imagine how scary that was for him, and all Janelle cared about was payback and acting tough.  Well, except when she got pulled over; then came the waterworks.  Even then, it was the police officer, not Janelle, who noticed a kid was in the car and tried to make him comfortable. 

She is the worst mother, period.  Does anyone know if anything came of Barb addressing this with her lawyer?

Pretty much. But I don’t think this is new news. They have known that her MD is progressive and that it will likely shorten her life expectancy. Apparently though, Ali is the only child diagnosed with this particular kind of MD so they (even the doctors) don’t know exactly what to expect. I also think given tonight’s news that I would be melting down and I think Leah is really strong and puts on a positive and brave face for Ali.

And she is by herself. (I guess her friend had left already.)  I think I would have pressed Corey to go with me if I was her. My husband does not go to every doctor appointment with our kids but “important” ones that can potentially be serious he does.
