Not to defend Dorit being late but she never said Europe, and since its clothing I imagine she was calling Asia where it would have been morning.

For some reason I thought she was aligned with an Italian company which is why I immediately jumped to the European timezone, but either way, what's an 18-hour time difference between friends, right?

We're seeing some 'Camille' come out.  Cool.

LOVE fiesty Camille! When they were all at dinner and Teddi started to say, "I'm not really irritated.....", Camille cut in and said, "I am!" FLOVE her.

LVP will see Kyle sticking up for Ken and not forget.

Yup. I appreciated that she jumped right in to defend him.

I forgot already. Dorit was friends with Teddi, and, therefore, the producers invited Teddi to be a HW? That was Teddi's first friendship, with Dorit?

I imagine their "friendship" was kind of like the one with Siggy and Margaret on NJ - very, very casual. They had some peripheral connection that allowed Bravo to get Teddi on the show, but they don't really know each other very well. And now Teddi is vibing better with some of the other wives and it's going to cause issues.

Yes. Kyle may be my favorite HW of all time; I generally love her. But I rolled my eyes so hard when she said you don't comment about people's drinking. Dorit was obviously, no question about it, DRUNK at Kyle's house. People can comment on what they see.

Not understanding why Kyle didn't chew Dorit out about her abominable behavior at her dinner party. Instead she goes and has lunch with her and gets closer with her.  Kyle was a bit of a shit stirrer this eppy. Going back and forth between Teddy and Dorit with who said what.

If you want to see a talented dog peeing, watch THIS.   ;-)

That is crazy funny! The dog balances for sooo long. I almost expected the camera to pull back, so that we'd see that the urine spelled out something on the concrete.

So if the producers are deliberately telling the HWs different call times, and we know it, shouldn't the HWs know it, too? Or do the HWs know it, but they tell the HWs that they have to act as if they actually are pissed off?

If Delilah did her laundry on a fairly regular basis, she'd know that she adds detergent, not soap.

Honestly, both Kyle and Teddi looked so uncomfortable when Camille commented on how Dorit drank too much that night. But I agree with you that most, if not all, observers would unequivocally agree that Dorit was very intoxicated.

But it's impressive that Teddi didn't pile on, simply because Dorit's lying and denying annoyed her.

Well, Rinna arriving at the lunch and immediately launching into "Ken allegedly assaulted a woman," might affect Teddi's initial opinion of Dorit constantly maligning Rinna.

On WWHL, Kyle said that Rinna had watched early seasons of RHOBH a few months earlier, and was tweeting obnoxious comments about LVP behavior on the show.

So I guess the real storyline this year is going to be about Dorit coming between Kyle and LVP? I agree with others here - why would either one of them want Dorit? There was a scene in the previews where Erika says something like "this is all because there are three bitches who are competitive over friendship". It sure looked as if LVP was none to happy to learn that Kyle was opening up to Dorit, saying she didn't even know her very well. Things that make you go hmmmm.

Rinna is gonna be in big trouble with this Ken deal. This is simply not how it is done, and she won't get support for it. Not when she is talking about LVP and Ken. They have had many legal issues over the years and have always managed to keep them off the show because they are not going to bring them up, and no one else has ever dared. LVP can bring up tabloid shit on camera, but she won't have anyone doing the same to her, and she will be backed up by others (well, at least Kyle).  Rinna clearly doesn't care if any of these people actually like her or not, and she is clearly not afraid of LVP at all. She is just going to bring the drama. I don't think things will end well for her here.

I do kind of want Dorit to use "emergency transatlantic swimwear crisis" as an excuse for every transgression for the remainder of the season.

I guess Dorit is the one to generate conflict this season...and it's easy for her to generate disdain from the audience.  Her accent, her sketchy husband, and her laughable vanity swimwear line (why are boutiques and swimwear lines the go to for these women as businesses?).

With that said, I would have loved just one scene of Teddi at her job...to see what exactly she does, etc.  She's a newbie and an accountability specialist is something not seen on the franchises...and considering everything going on in Hollywood right now...she won't ever be without a job lol

I'd love to see Erika dressed more subdued...like with LVP...when dressed more casual...she looks better and more human like.

STFU Kyle in your Ron Jeremy flesh colored shortie robe. STFU about your family, and defending Dorit about being late. What’s in it for Kyle? A super fan? I am not following why Kyle is sticking up for Dorit so hard. Kyle can say Doritos mouth is a tennis ball machine but it’s not ok for a Teddi to say that Dorito was drunk ?

Barney and a Sleestak had a baby and it showed up at Villa Rosa for a lunch date. WTF.  Drunk purple people eater.

I love Teddi and I think is Camille is beautiful and credible in general. F Dorit.

Ok Dorito... if you were supposed to be there at 430 and you called at 452 at least 15 to 20 minutes away plus traffic..... that’s not 6 minutes late. She asked someone in the car  how far away they were. Could that person not send a text ?

Dorit has no excuse for not texting Teddy. I hate being late and get anxiety if I make other people wait on me.  However it happens, no matter who you are there are time when you might be a little late,  but you let people know. Text , call, facebook, instagram, email , snap chat ( I'm not really sure how this works lol) whatever else there is now . The point is it's  not 1978 . As I said before, Dorit was just rude. Teddy has every right to be pissed. Not only did dorit not care about Teddy's time, she now wants to act like Teddy  is a liar and is ridiculous to be annoyed.

I guess another possibility is that Dorit and Teddi agreed to meet for drinks at 4:00 pm at Plan Check (Really? They couldn't think of a better name for a bar/restaurant? This name makes me think that they provide a service that helps people maximize their health insurance and employee benefits, in general) while at Kyle's party, so Dorit was too sh--faced to remember the time or the fact that she agreed to meet Teddi.

I got the impression from Dorit the call schedule had filming between 4:30 and 5:30.  Dorit was late and it did take her six minutes to respond to Teddi's text.  Seen this before on RHOBH when, LVP claimed, Faye crashed her tea.  Kyle pointed out it was on the call sheet and there was a place set for Faye.  An interesting twist, in Dorit's blog she claims that she was at Kyle's house (last week's episode) an hour and half before everyone else.  I smell the production fairies at work.  Dorit is pretty self-absorbed with her swimsuit line and absolutely clueless how things work.

This is where Dorit was really obnoxious and dumb. Assuming her call time was 4:30 and they were supposed to film for an hour, she had already wasted everyone's (Teddi's, the crew's, the restaurant's, and her own) time from her understanding of the situation when she called at 4:48 and was 15 - 20 minutes away. They likely only had the restaurant from 4pm to 6pm.* She'd have maybe 20 minutes of footage that they could have shot.

3 hours ago, Adira said:

OMG, I was a big supporter of Dorit's last season, but she's acting so self-absorbed and self-involved this season!  WTF?!  Even if she WAS going to meet Teddi at 4:30, it was 4:54 when she called her and she was at LEAST 15 minutes away, so she was going to be almost 40 minutes late ANYWAY!  And okay, she thought they were meeting at 4:30, that's okay.  But when Teddi tells her SHE thought they were meeting at 4:00, Dorit shouldn't just assume Teddi's a liar - she should've said something like "OMG, I thought we were meeting at 4:00!  I'm so sorry we got the times mixed up and you've been waiting all this time!!"  That's all she would've needed to say!!  Instead she gives some "Oh, I thought we were meeting in this random hour window!" and then bashes Teddi to Kyle and Lisa for leaving after waiting for almost an hour!  Did she really think Teddi was just making up how long she had been waiting??  For what purpose??  And she shows Lisa that Teddi texted her at 4:36 asking where she was and tries to insinuate that Teddi is an impatient bitch.  She KNOWS Teddi thought they were meeting at 4:00, so texting 36 minutes later makes complete sense!  Her whole premise relies on her believing Teddi is a liar for absolutely no reason and acting like a crazy person just to make Dorit look bad or something.  WTF??  Who does that??  Just apologize for getting the times mixed up and promise to double-check the times next time (and not be late for whatever time it is you think you're supposed to meet at)!!

If Dorit believes that they were truly meeting at 4:30, then Teddi's text at 4:00 to announce that she's at the restaurant is an annoyance. The text at 4:36 is a little impatient. So Dorit's problem is that Teddi got there early and bitched because she ended up waiting for almost an hour when Dorit was "only" 30 minutes late. But yes, Dorit should have apologized, not for getting the times mixed up, but for being atrociously late even by her own understanding of the facts.

Actually last year when they were in Hong Kong, Dorit mentioned she had done business there.  I would agree it is just as likely Asia as it is Europe.

7 hours ago, biakbiak said:

In fact given all of Dorit's ridiculousness I assumed she meant some rando manufacturer in Asia over Milan, Paris or London because she wasn't specific.

It wasn't until @biakbiak pointed it out, that I realized Dorit never said Europe. I agree that it's much more likely that she was on a call with somewhere in Asia.

*The reason they always pick these strange afternoon hours to film in restaurants is because no one in their right mind wants the show filming during a time when the restaurant could otherwise be making a lot of money. Every time the show films, a restaurant loses at least 2 tables that they can't serve to accommodate the cast and camera crew for a couple of hours.

So did anyone else catch Rinna's explanation about Ken and Lisa when she sat down?  She said there was a lawsuit and then said "A lawsuit that I know about." giving the impression that she was in the room when Ken shoved/pushed/assaulted said woman.  Then she proceeds to spew out the same shit she probably read in the newspaper which any of them could have read themselves.  This woman is disgusting and vile and it's no shock she's raised entitled/bitchy children as well.  If I were Gigi and Bella Hadid I'd watch out for these two girls if they were ever behind me on stairs.

I don't think that LVP was jealous about Kyle talking to Dorit, I think she was fearful.  Dorit has been shown not to be able to keep her mouth shut when drunk as well as spin things to make other people look worse.  I think LVP's motivations there were concern for Kyle getting in too far with Dorit who seems to have drama surrounding her no matter where she goes.

I'm team Teddi on the late thing.  I think she was pressed about it in those moments but once she left she was fine.  Then when Dorit opened her mouth and tried to make it seem like Teddi was some whiny child about her being five minutes late that's when she decided to defend herself because Dorit was trying to make it seem like she was insane and off her rocker for texting her to ask where she was.  Dorit should feel lucky because had it been me, there would have been no text.  I would have left and when/if she showed up there should have been no confusion as to why.

This. The first rule of getting older is to not break bones. Erica is worried about being alone. Tom has lots of assets and I'm wondering what happens to his estate when he dies. I'm sure Erica is taken care of but since Tom has children, I'm guessing that she won't be controlling his estate. I wonder if he is leaving her enough to support her "career" and her glam squad.

Does Dorito really think that 4pm means 4:30-5:30? I am loving that she is getting so offended that Teddi made a peep about being stood up. Camille is a dumbass but it's obvious she cannot stand Little Dorit. As usual Kyle tries to play both sides. Oh, Kyle, sometime you look good, but white workout pants and that grandma t-shirt?? And what was up with her makeup at when she was with Camille. The while palette looked off, like she had a mask on.

Shocked to learn that Teddi was heavy at one time. She strikes me as one of those women who are perpetually thin and fit.

Lisa is heading in to hoarder territory. Because she has money, it's called a charity. I personally think she needs some therapy.

Not to defend Rinna, because I think she was wrong to bring it up, but she wasn't bringing up rumors. She was mentioning something that was in the news and was being reported on in many different outlets at that time. The ridiculous part was the other gals acting like they had heard nothing about it. I never believe they don't all have Google Alerts for their co-workers. From what I can tell, Rinna co-hosted that show on Aug. 11th, and the news about Ken broke on Aug. 7th. No way they hadn't heard about it. But I guess good for them for probably not wanting to talk about it on camera.

I'm kind of of two minds about this because I totally understand being annoyed that someone is so late and doesn't bother to at least text something. Dorit saying she wasn't all that late anyway just adds insult to injury, so I agree with Teddi on that point. I'm another very punctual person who rushes and hurries and generally inconveniences myself  so I won't be late, so I find being late to be rude, and then, if it's unavoidable, not sending a text or something about it to be ruder.  But if she had texted that she got a phone call and had to cancel would that really have been okay with Teddi? I don't know her, she says it would have been fine, so maybe it would have, I don't know.

My main issue is with Teddi being so flummoxed about Dorit talking badly about Rinna, and then not passing up the opportunity to do the very same thing when Dorit does something she doesn't like. I find that hypocritical, which to me is a much bigger problem than lateness.  And I also find it pretty ill mannered that Teddi is making such a big deal about it. Dorit was rude and self important and standalone, it's Dorit who looked bad there, imo. But I think Teddi is running the risk of looking like a bitch for taking this up and not letting it go, bringing it up at every opportunity and even name calling. She seems to be making the freshman mistake of attempting to be a badass.

In Kyle's blog she mentions that this lateness issue continues for a while. Blah. I am not looking forward to another apology gate.

  • I might text back
  • I might do nothing and just think "apparently, this chick likes to be super early" especially if I was busy taking care of more important things
  • I might think that I really have to wrap things up because this super early chick has been sitting in the restaurant since 4pm
  • I might just take my sweet time getting there because it's not my problem that Teddi got there at 4pm

I don't think there is only one likely or normal response to getting that text at 4pm. My only issue is that by her own understanding of their plans, Dorit was at least a half hour late. She owed Teddi a text or phone call to explain AND an apology.

That said, though, it's kind of sad that lateness for afternoon drinks (as opposed to, say, a wedding, a surprise party, a ride to the airport) is the topic/title of the episode. Oooh, scandalous!

Why does Dorit wear the wigs? Is she bald? I think I saw the stubble of a widows peak when she was asked if she wanted more wine.

While they are filming, wigs are probably better and more protective of their hair that extensions. All of the product, styling, blow drying, and flat ironing would likely cause hair damage and loss. Wigs are an easy way to avoid traction alopecia.

I don't think this is the way it works. Production isn't sitting around scheduling things for them. They are the ones who decide who they want to hang with and then arrange it with production, because production has to clear it with restaurants and get the film crew scheduled. Yolanda explained that this was how it worked at one of the reunions. She said that she had wanted to film with Kim, called production and arranged it, but then Kim didn't show/respond.

We already have enough self-absorbed POS on the show with Rinna! ;-)

Dorit was rude for keeping Teddi waiting, but, Teddi is like a dog with a bone~ she won’t let it go.

She would probably let it go if the stupid bitch Dorit wasn't twisting everything to make Teddi look bad.

Teddi doesn't look bad though, to anyone about the lateness. I like Dorit and even to me, she looked bad in that scenario.

(I think Dorit was being defensive because she knew she was in the wrong.)
