As for Halloween costumes, I wonder if Meghan will just come as herself. I could see it, partly because she has no sense of humor and partly because she's scary all by herself. Whoopi'll probably come in as a bag of leaves.

Go Sunny!  This is why I love her, she used facts to shut Meghan down.  She pushed back against her and would not let her use the talking point to distract us from the news today.  Meghan looked upset with the audience for expressing their glee about the news.

We didn't hear anything about the indictments because MM threw a tantrum and kept trying to deflect to Hillary. I mean, I realize she can't defend her party but she needs to just sit there and let the adults talk. This is going to be a loooooong year.

"coming up next" .... the topic would actually come up next.  Can they not cover the topics shown on the right?  If not, don't show them, because a lot of times they are more interesting than the ones they cover.  I don't know what happened in the last 20 minutes, but I turned it off when the preacher came on.  What an annoying character.  

MM's outfit today actually looked fine, but the hair - still straw-like.

I don't get MM.  This was breaking news today, and I am sure the plan was for the lawyer at the table to walk the audience through the legalities and implications of the indictments and the guilty plea.  Instead, poor MM is dismayed that people are gleeful about indictments, and oh btw, don't forget Hillary, DNC Russian Dossier blah blah blah.  Then she talked about Putin being a thug and Manafort having, what did she say, ambiguous ethics, and she was uncomfortable with him being part of the campaign?  Then why is she talking about Hillary?  It just made no sense.  She can still play the role of the Republican and say what this means to the party instead of the crazy deflection stuff.  She kept talking over Sunny, who was having none of it.  Whoopi remained silent.  Oh, and twice she said something like, I am here to explain, and she got defensive.  She's just not good at being on a talk show, in addition to all of her other failings.

I loved Sunny shutting down Ms. Both Sides, but Ms. rape rape, we don't know, we we're there is even more funny with her trying to rewrite her misogynist history. This woman who went on a tirade about the Cosby victims, asked what Rihanna did to warrant her own brutal beating, blamed a 14 year old for taking quaaludes and jumping in to a hot tub and asked the infamous but was it "rape rape" is now acting like the ultimate champion of women. And she still trying to not so subtly blame victims for not taking their own power and coming forward from the get go. I see you Whoopi. You are not fooling anyone.

Sure. A huge news story broke this morning but we should really be discussing what's going on with Obama and Clinton because that's the only thing Republicans like MM have when their ship is sinking.

I was interested in hearing a lawyer's explanation of the indictments and not a display of some snotty rich girl's piss poor deflection skills. As someone else said it appeared the plan was for Sunny to walk us through it, but MM freaked when the audience clapped because she thinks they're attacking her and she was able to derail the conversation with a word salad that would make Elisabeth proud. 

She's a moron and I love how the rest of them aren't walking on eggshells around her.

Kathy put out a ten minute video yesterday, but I haven't watched it and don't know what it's about. Still and all, I think she's hilarious and when she drags Trump I applaud.

I would get one of Whoopi's sweaters if they did not have those stupid designs on the front.  I am a very tall girl and I like that they are very long.  The length of women's tops these days are so short that they look like crap on me.  Unfortunately, when I do find top that are long enough they have some tacky designs all over the front.

The episode was deleted before I could watch it.  Meghan is absolutely unbearable in this clip.  The eye rolls at anything Joy tries to say, the yelling over Sunny so she can get "her side" out.  And how embarrassing for a 33 y/o to say that her entire family has been "sanctioned" by her father to never go to Russia.  Is she that incapable of viewing the facts and making the decision on her own?  This is not The View with Meghan McCain, nor The View with John McCain's Daughter.  I don't care what John McCain says on every topic as translated through the trust fund baby.  I don't.  And Meghan apparently believes that "her side' is entitled to her spewing for 50% of the show.  And she knows about Paul Manafort, y'all.  And everyone should be silent as she shares her wisdom on the topic.  

MM is far too thin-skinned, spoiled, and uninformed for this show.  She expects the room to fall silent as she shares her wisdom (the wisdom she's over heard from her father).

Absolutely none.  ( And no chem with the viewing public either, I'd venture. )  They should all chalk it up to a bad experiment and just cut her loose.  It doesn't appear that any of them are happy with her, and she sure as hell doesn't look thrilled to be there either.

I think Meghan has spent the majority of her life in a privileged little RED bubble called Arizona, and seeing wild applause for something that would be ignored or deflected in that little red bubble truly shocked her.

I'm also thinking there needs to be a corollary to Godwin's Law, that if you deflect any mention of wrongdoing by Team Trump by bringing up private citizens Obama or Clinton, you automatically lose the argument. In today's Washington Post, Jennifer Rubin (the Post's conservative columnist, btw) called it "whataboutism."

If Meghan can't put forth the conservative POV without throwing a tantrum, she doesn't need to be on this show. The GOP needs thoughtful, calm people to represent it right now. There are surely some out there. The View's audience suffered through Elisabeth, who couldn't put forth a logical defense to save her soul - poor silly thing - and became defensive and snotty, or played the victim, and eventually lost any purpose for being on the show. I for one am not willing to go through that little charade again with Meghan.
