Yay, Sunny! I've had enough of MM's false equivalency!

I was channel surfing and landed on TLC by accident just in time to watch an award ceremony for little girls in grotesque makeup and hairdos as well as suggestive costumes! Doesn't anyone remember Jon-Benet Ramsey? Doesn't anyone realize that there are child predators out there looking for opportunities. In my never-to-be-humble opinion, this is utter psychological child abuse and the parents who are subjecting their precious children to this should be put in jail. Certainly, when judgement day comes, they will be sent straight to hell where they belong! There is no defense and there are no words to adequately describe these "pageants!" and the harm it ultimately will do to these children

I'm calling bull pucky on this show! It has to be a complete fabrication and set-up because, although I recognize that there are an enormous amount of people in this country that are about as stupid as stupid can be -- NOBODY is as ridiculously ignorant as some of these idiots (and, I apologize, because that is an insult to idiots)! I can't watch such a fake show. So, I'm out!

Truman, Eisenhower re-election in 1944? Teacher doesn't know how to pronounce the opera "Aida?" Now I know why students today are woefully ignorant! Shame!

It will be interesting to see how Whoopie reacts to Joy's presence! She sure didn't like sharing the spotlight with Rosie O'Donnell and I suspect she will resent Joy as well. You'll all have to report in on this since I will never watch the show again! I haven't watched since Rosie O left the second time!

I call BS on this crap! I haven't watched (again) since RO left as I have found Whoopie completely insufferable! Her defense of Roman Polanski, Mel Gibson, Chris Brown, Bill Cosby, etc., etc. is unforgivable! Whoopie is an imbecile and an unfeeling, ignorant bitch. So, I call BS on her "performance" today!

Kaygeeret, you stated my assessment of RO perfectly! Those who call RO difficult and bitchy don't get it. They are "go along to get along" people and, while that might be a pleasant work ethic it rarely achieves anything substantive. RO, on the other hand, received an emmy for each year her old show was on the air so the proof is in the pudding.

The other resentment that Whoopie holds against Rosie occurred on the very first show of this season when the four of the hosts came out and the entire audience chanted (in unison), "Rosie, Rosie, Rosie, Rosie..." RO tried to quiet them all down and finally did but I saw Whoopie's face and she wasn't happy about that show of audience excitement that Rosie was back! I used to adore Whoopie. I loved her "Sister Act" movies, followed every "Comic Relief" show she did and contributed every time having a sweatshirt from all of the shows. I saw almost every one of her movies and saw her one-woman shows that were broadcast on HBO. But her appearance on "The View" has changed my opinion of her. She is a bully and an ignorant one at that! Only a perpetually stupid person can take the positions that she does and I detest her now. I wouldn't waste a minute watching anything that she is on nor would I waste a minute watching Nicole Wallace. I'm grateful that I've gained another hour during the day that I can devote to reading or watching a Netflix movie of my choice!

The only reason that I started watching The View again this past September was because of Rosie O'Donnell. The rest of the panel is useless! Whoopie is insufferable! The very few times that RO wasn't on the program, I immediately turned it off. When she leaves, I leave. Nobody should have to suffer the indignities that RO suffers at the hand of the completely clueless and ignorant WG! I wish her the best and, if she decides to come back to tv, I'll be watching!

If Rosie comes back to The View, then so will I. I stopped watching the day after Rosie left!
