I've been privately saying that Lilah needs a thorough evaluation by her pediatrician and if that doesn't reveal any problems, I'd move on to a developmental pediatrician for an advanced evaluation.  She doesn't present as a two year old in the episodes.

Jackson seems a little behind average, but he's in pre-school in these episodes and hopefully his teachers are letting Zach and Tori know what they should be working on.  I'd expect to hear more like Daddy built us a sand box last week.  We went to XYZ lumber store and bought lots of wood.  Then Daddy worked and worked and look it's done!

He should be able to carry on a conversation and not just give three word answers to questions.

I was glad to see Amy try to draw Lilah out speaking and to get her involved in playing in the sand.  It was really good to hear her tell Lilah she was OK when Lilah tripped.

Ironically Matt praised her repeatedly for doing that and even sued the county over the incident. (It ultimately failed in court as Matt was claiming they were discriminated against).

Good for Matt, but personally I think she acted like an animal and embarrassed herself.

Per Amy, she didn't press for full market value when she sold her portion to Matt because she understood that the plan was for one of the kids to assume that part of the farm.

I don’t believe that for one second, she’s full of shit.  Sounds good now so she can earn brownie points with the kids.

This episode for me was the most annoying so far.  Why is any of what Matt is doing with the farm any of Marek’s business.  Matt should have told him he didn’t make a decision yet.  Marek is acting like he has been around for 20 years talking about family gatherings and the farm not being the same anymore.  He should mind his own dam business, he knows nothing.

Chris pointing out the flaws  in Zach’s little sandbox while Tori says more than once, but you still killed it babe, was pretty funny, not sure she is a fan of her mother in laws “man”.

Poor Lilah falling multiple times because Zach’s pays her no attention and leaves her lagging behind and just yell Lilah come on.

All of this. I wanted to punch Zach in the mouth when Lilah fell and he laughed - assohole.

I thought Chris was going to start crying after hearing Matt's plans to sell. I can't stand him.

My earlier comment about Jackson trying hard was about his mobility.

In yesteryear, Tori’s cheerleader approach with Zach seemed endearing. Now, it’s pitiful. She seems to feel the need to constantly praise and prop him up less his fragile ego deflates.  He seems pretty full of himself though.

Hey, maybe this show needs a Tell All at the end of the season. Sort of like 90 Day or Housewives.  Get them all in a room and bring up stuff that didn’t get aired.  Lol. Just kidding.  It would only bring up more hard feelings.  A good ratings booster though.

Were my eyes deceiving me or are Jacksons legs more bowed and mangled than ever? And they actually said he's all recovered from his surgery. WTF? Are these people blind? He was walking on the side of one of his feet, it looked so uncomfortable. These parents need to do better. Maybe stop working on getting pregnant and start paying attention to the ones you have.

Chris likes to tell people what to do. Chris is annoying. He's all up in the Roloff family issues. Be quiet, Chris.

I don’t think Caryn saying “what the F was that” when referring to having Jackson announce the move in anyway compares to Amy telling Matt “to blow it out his ass” or something like that at the Thanksgiving dinner in front of her children and their in laws.  How embarrassing for those kids.

When a family member of mine was two, he was not talking except gobbily goo that no one could understand. He also was behind in small motor skills and fell alot like Lilah. The pediatrician referred him for a hearing test with the March of Dimes in order to cross a hearing problem off the list as the cause of a speech delay. Hearing was fine so he was cleared. At the time (this was almost 40 years ago), autism was not on anyone's radar like today. There were no markers for it as well as testing for it for kids with normal behaviors otherwise at that age level. So he just moved on with pre school and elementary school, etc...his speech improved by the time he hit kindegarten but he needed a speech therapist to correct some pronounciation issues.

However, by high school, despite being a straight A student, there were issues with social cues and an inability to socialize with his peers. Long story short...it wasn't until he was a junior in college that he was sent for testing by a therapist and finally diagnosed with mild autism. If he had been tested and treated when he was a child his life would been so much better both in school and at home. ZiT are lucky to have these tools at their disposal if they would only talk to their pediatrician about Lilah's delayed speech and get her the help she needs...why they don't do this, I just don't understand. Tori is trained elementary school teacher, she should know this isn't normal...why is she ignoring this and just being so flippant about it?

Lilah is deserving of their attention and love but also of their recognition that she needs early intervention as to the root cause of her speech delay before she goes to school. It makes me sad and angry that she is ignored and her problems will not get diagnosed or taken care of.

I cringed when I saw how Jackson's legs were, to the naked eye, more bowed than ever!

Is the way he walks the way the doctors and other medical professionals presumably managing his condition intend?

Is that how the surgery was supposed to impact his walking?

I agree about Jackson's legs...OMG! That surgery did not help the bowing at all...it looks worse than ever. And you're right...these two have their hands full and don't seem to be too pro active in the parenting part of getting these children the help they need for their disabilities, physical or other.

With Lilah it isn't just speech, but that is the most obvious issue.  She doesn't interact well, she screams at the least little thing, her coordination is not good, etc.  She should be able to run and climb by now and she stills falls very often.   Although she was using a utensil at the meal they showed so that was good.

With Jackson's legs that surgery is supposed to take time to work.  It only slows the growth on one side of each leg so it will take months to see an effect.  While recovering Jackson seemed to overcompensate trying to avoid pain and they did take him in to check that out.  They may be having to let him finish working through the recovery before he tries to walk more normally and it will take possibly years for the full effect of the surgery.  Of course, failure of the surgery to work is always a possibility.

Thankfully, I missed that.  D&S is almost unwatchable to me.  Ooh !  Not to go off topic, but what if a new LPBW storyline could be made for Amy to get cosmetic surgery like D&S?  I’d watch.  It would be more interesting than watching Chris talk about a real estate transaction that he wasn’t involved in and watching the Parents Of The Year in Battle Ground.

It was nice seeing Chris help Zach with the sandbox.  I guffawed at Amy telling Chris not to “be mean” about the sandbox lol. I wonder if Zach actually built it.  It’ll be interesting what little creek critters might make a home in it.

Lilah is so cute! So, they all have May birthdays including Murphy except Lilah, she’s a November baby like me lol.

That Sonic ad was awful….couldn’t they just have a bag of Sonic hamburgers in every scene without them yammering on about them so artificially.

Gotta say: that rushing river creek in ZIT's back 40 is making me sooooo nervous especially since the parents were so comfortable letting their littles play around it! The parents are oblivious and constantly look away from their kids when they should be focusing on them.

I couldn’t believe Jackson wasn’t more restrained in his car seat. He had a regular seat belt on and that was barely across his little body.

I can't with these two. Will  it take some kind of tragedy for them to wake up? I'm surprised opinionated Chris doesn't have something to say about what he see's with these kids. They are not even watchable with the kids at this point.

Washington state has fairly lax car seat standards compared to what I'm used to seeing.  From age 2 to 4, they should be in a seat with a harness facing front or back.  From 5 onward a booster seat is sufficient.  It seems the Roloffs moved Jackson a few months early.  He'll need to meet a 4'9" height standard to move out of the booster or age out in his case.

I wonder if Zach finds his days fulfilling by driving the kids to visit some family members and skipping others.  That’ll show them.  Grandkids can be easily manipulated and used for adult egos.  Zach disgusts me and his supportive wife isn’t far behind.  I really wish their roles on the show would get smaller.  Even watching the kids is heartbreaking.  Little Lilah…omg….so sad. The child appears to be so sad.  And, Jackson..bless his heart, he’s trying so hard.  Their condition on that property is concerning.

I'm starting to think Tori is the manipulative one leading Zach around by his nose. I'm wondering if she is behind the break with Jeremy's family and the icy result of the negotiations over buying the farm.

Interesting that Zach took the kids over to Mimi's house without Tori.  Maybe his relationship with his family is better than Tori's and he wants to avoid controversy.

To me Lilah seems to be on the Spectrum...mild autism. The markers are there...not talking, poor large motor skills, not interacting, small manipulatives are lacking...she needs to be seen by a specialist and then get the appropriate help. Doing this now will mean she won't be playing catch up in school and can hopefully lead a happy and healthy childhood. Not doing anything will be very detrimental to her intellectual and social well being. Early intervention is key.

I think Lilah’s delays are due to bad parenting. They never engage her, they plop her down. Do they encourage her in conversation or just talk at her. Half the time she doesn’t have her glasses on , can she even see?

Amy's all talk and no show!  Didn't the negotiations for Matt buying Amy out go on forever with her wanting more and more!  Amy gave up nothing.

Prices went up AFTER she concluded her sale and I'll just bet that really frosts her.  Hence the big talk!

I have never understood the appeal of a sandbox. They seem so unsanitary unless there is a cover that fits over it.  It's not just feral cats that will use it but any number of animals that roam around at night. Do kids really play much in a sandbox? Seems like having a play area with a fort, and swings and a slide would get more use and the kids would be able to use it for a longer period. of time.

And count me in with others who are giving the side eye to Zack building the sandbox.

Exactly, Amy much like Zach has a very selfish view of everything.. remember when she said something like “that’s your kid, I was your wife” when referring to making property deals with Matt… in her pea brain the benefits only flow one way which is in her or Zachs direction, So Matt is supposed to give them whatever they want but they don’t have to do the same for him even though he is the dad and he was her husband PLUS he’s severely handicapped compared to them…. Doesn’t matter, that’s not their problem.

During her negotiations with Matt that dragged on forever she also said something about her years on the farm and what if the business grows and is worth more money and Matt had to explain that’s what she’s already being paid for! 🙄 so by the same token if the farm goes under and loses value should she be on the hook for that and give money back to Matt????…. Oh hell no, she just wanted more money if it increased in value…. She approaches every deal with the same greedy, ridiculous, dumb as a stump mindset as Zach where Matt should have handed him the farm on a silver platter because 60 yr olds don’t need money.

In regards to Chris, I still don’t see what he sees in Amy (the overall pairing of a normal sized man and a little person woman just seems odd) but I don’t mind him. He has a different perspective being that he didn’t know them when they were married. Who knows if he had even watched the show prior to meeting Amy. I missed their “courting” years, but it seems like he’s an easy going, somewhat normal guy who makes friends easily and gets along with most people. I liked his interaction with Zach with the sandbox and he wasn’t annoying with Matt in the garage. I think he just rolls his eyes and humors Matt when he attempts to joke with Amy like he did on the jeep.

They can be a lot of fun for little kids but they also need to be maintained especially if they're located in a wooded area like ZiTs house, I don't know if it was always a problem but nowadays they can easily become infested with sand fleas that bite like hell and you have to remove all the sand, scrub the wood down with a bleach solution in hot water, let it thoroughly dry then line the bottom with new landscape fabric and refill with clean sand meant for sandboxes.

We put a sandbox in a partially shaded area of our yard, we have trees and bushes nearby like ZiTs property and it was full of sand fleas within a few weeks, the kids had red itchy spots on their legs and arms, I took it all apart, cleaned it, refilled and they were back within a month, the people at the garden supply store where I bought the sand said they were getting lots of questions about it from people trying to get rid of them, they told me to try dumping cinnamon and salt all over the sand and raking it in, that seemed to kick them back a little longer but eventually they returned... the battle rages on.

I can't imagine Zach putting in the effort to battle sand fleas, he barely had the energy to hang a few xmas lights.

In California, beware of brown widow spiders in and around sand boxes.

They really need a tight cover to keep all animals out when the box isn't in use.  Hopefully, Zach and Tori are aware of that.

I still believe his quiet, calm, boring persona is partially him. But I also think his brain is in motion with ideas on how to work less and make more money.

His TLC paychecks (and real estate money) will add up to a decent amount for retirement, or maybe he's planning on divorcing Amy before he retires. He's smart enough to know he won't be getting anything from Amy except bitterness and hatred.

I couldn't believe it when they showed Jackson sitting on Lilah's face with his butt, and he was saying, "I'm sitting, I'm sitting" and neither parent said a word? He is three times her size. Has she been oxygen deprived when he won't get off of her? She isn't autistic, she has just been systematically terrorized her whole life. Will he do the same to the new baby too, or is it just Lilah he hates so much? Tory says he is a wonderful big brother. Does she think the whole world is blind?

Seems to me they are spending time with Granpa in this clip. Matt's just required to make more of an effort to come to them. Considering the nature of the argument - I know parents who would go scorched earth and call the cops if the grandparents showed up on the property. Not saying that's right or appropriate, but Zach is allowing his kids to see their granddad on reasonable terms.

I'm sure she agrees with Zach on not spending every other day on Matt's farm. But what's there to keep pressure on about? They've bought a place in Washington and Matt's been very clear in telling them they need big bucks they don't have in order to purchase the farm. They can't afford it and Matt is cheerfully telling folks how relieved he is that Zach will never ger the farm and even seeing the grandkids more won't change Matt's mind on that.

Matt's selling the place to strangers - refusing to drop the grandkids off clearly didn't change the man's mind.

Appropriate boundaries are never unimportant.  I've known people whose parents showed up and entered their house unannounced without knocking or when they weren't home.  I'm guessing if the parents had continued, action would have been taken.  It's a door that swings both ways.  Matt and Caryn aren't persecuted saints in the situation that Matt seems to have instigated and then tries to pretend he's the put upon one without ever apologizing for his part.  You do things and then get to live with the consequences.  I'm not saying Zach and Tori are 100% right either, but they are entitled to not fall on Matt's neck for the mess that was made.  If the result is he has to drive to see the grandkids, well that happens.

Matt seems free to visit the grandkids regularly.  I'm not sure spending so much time on the farm was the healthiest thing for the kids since we've noticed there are some issues with the kids that need to be worked on.  Also I wonder how much the show has built up and emphasized what conflict there is for ratings.
