But even though she's coming across as a selfish jerk, I think I would actually like her if she was with a more suitable partner. If she was with a more assertive man who would stand up to her ridiculous ideas, and not bend over backwards for fear of losing her, I think she could rein it in a bit. I've had friends with strong personalities like hers who have a natural tendency to run roughshod over people, but if you stand up to them and they see you're not a pushover, they are often very willing to compromise. To me, this is just a terribly mismatched couple, rather than two inherently bad people.

I think Pao is a bitch and would be a bitch to anyone she didn't get her way with. Juan is her bestie because he's a nasty bitch just like her. Russ's mom and dad asked her to not wear lingerie at the breakfast table and Russ'a friend agreed with him about being uncomfortable with her posing topless. She thinks they were treating her badly. But, she's fine with Juan calling Russ fat, berating him for not having a job, etc. She's a spoiled bitch.

It seems now that Russ has moved to Miami, it's now "Russ doesn't understand my career" or

I also love the backwards of the phrasing of "Family Chantel" . My husband says things like that. He calls toilet tissue Paper Toilet, he's got me saying it, too.

I understand the concept of "window dressing" at parties for the high rollers and such but the agent really does seem like she is grooming Paolo to be an escort.  Anyone on this board feeling like snooping around the interwebs for some info on this agent?

Pao act like some 16 year old runaway who meets a "nice man" at the bus stop who offers her food and shelter in every lifetime movie staring someone from Melrose Place as a her mother and soap opera character you have to google to remember what show he was on as a detective who seemingly have all the time in the world to work on only one case. And Russ suffers from a severe case of B#(&#^Assness.

My son, now 19, still calls it paper toilet, too.  Hey it is a paper towel, so why not paper toilet?  He was in speech as a child and we were told to never correct him, so it stuck.

I'm a closet fan of "Showgirls".  As soon as I saw the Yacht thing, I immediately thought of the infamous "boat show".  "We'll go hear Caesar sing, and then....we'll sing.".

When Pao and Russ went to meet with her she asked if Pao had logged on and registered and Pao acted like she had no idea what that was about.  Maybe if Pao registers on line with the agency and posts her photos she will get some actual work.  And if she does not have to exclusive why isn't she knocking on the doors of every agency in town?  Russ should ask her that question if she is so passionate about her career.  Obviously that agent is not interested in marketing her models so why stay with her agency?

Well, she did get that New Yersey music video gig all on her own. And what a classy video it is.  Someone posted it on the topic called Russ and Paolo, Juan Is A Jerk or some such.  It's obvious why Russ is concerned about the direction of her " career."

Seeing Pao in too much makeup with her brassy hair of many colors and wearing that horrible dress and heels stand next to a truly beautiful model with no makeup who is wearing jeans and still looking like a million bucks says everything about Pao's modeling career. She just doesn't have the "it" factor that some women have. Some women are just naturally gorgeous, like that stunning model, and Pao --- even with caking on makeup, changing her hair, wearing clothing that is four sizes too small ... doesn't have IT. She just doesn't. She's not naturally pretty. She's passably pretty some of the time and just okay most of the time. And her bunioned feet are just horrible.

She tries too hard.  Some of the outfits she wears...even just to go out for the night.  Yikes.  I find a nicely put together pair of jeans and a shirt to be sexier than that hooker garb she wears sometimes.

I see the whole Pedro situation differently. I don't see there being a priority situation. The relationships are different. He seems to be committed to his wife and his mother.  I don't see him putting one of the women over the other.  It's not an either or.

If you look at this from a different point of view, Pedro appears to be a responsible young man. An honorable man. From the beginning of the relationship it was Pedro who said he was uncomfortable with Chantel's lies.  He wanted Chantel to be honest with her family regarding their relationship. If he was a con man he would not have cared. 

Pedro is a keeper.  He is showing Chantel that he is committed to his family. Chantel is his family. The mistake Chantel makes is that she does not see Pedro's commitment to his mother as a strength. Had she been open to helping his mother this would not be an issue and she would have more of an input into what goes out of the household budget. 

Interesting that it appears as though Chantel and her parents seem to imply that had Pedro left his family behind he would be a better husband.

I figured out where Chantal (CeAir?) lives. They appear to be in Norcross, GA which is outside the Atlanta Beltway. That Studio apartment is probably about $800/month. It's garden-style, not that recent construction and tiny tiny. So I'd say $600/month plus extras (including JonBenet's career support) to DR is not unsubstantial. 

My problem is when Junior (apparently his real name) says it's not her problem (re $) - it is. Also Family Chantal's if they're contributing to her while she's still in school.

I fully agree it's mostly reality TV drama though. I never believed her family didn't know/figure out they were taping 90-Day Fiance. I do think this drama maybe more authentic though.

Too funny we're all commenting on Chantal/Pedro and Russ/Pao over the Russian hooker and Tunisian gigolo. Who would have ever thunk!

Supposedly, they've got a prenup.  They should have hashed these issues out in that document.  Also, the lawyers involved in the negotiations and drafting should have raised these issues.  There should not be any surprises about who controls what assets/income, if there really is a prenup.  If there is no preppy, Mother Pedro has no complaint against Family Chantal.

A prenup only addresses what will happen if the marriage dissolves and/or when one person passes.  It rarely addresses what will happen during the marriage with money.  It can never address any future or current children, custody, or child support issues.

I think he chose her because sadly, some women set the bar VERY low for the men they will allow into just not their lives but the lives of their children.  I did not introduce my soon to be hubby to my kids until we had been dating a year.  A year.  And I knew soon to be hubby since we were little kids (preschool to be exact) so it wasn't like some guy I met on Match.

Okay.....(deep breath) I just now saw the portion where Pedro is bringing the flat screen out of the bedroom, ready to ship.  He needed help handling it!! I didn't realize it was that huge!! Particularly, a medical grade one to help out with that peeing problem she has if she can't afford surgery or has too many medical risks for it.  That and some Kegel exercises.  It's got to cause her enough embarrassment and distress for her to want to do something about it, as if Mo putting it out on national TV wasn't cruel enough.
