I really doubted Famy's account. Who the hell talks about getting tested for STDs? I've never had the displeasure, but I don't think I'd be shouting the fact that it happened to the rooftops. And let's face it, if you tell Famy, it will be shouted. 

I think Famy said this to get the press off of Anna's back. If Anna was going to use a mouthpiece, it certainly wouldn't have been Duggar black sheep Famy. She could have just had a press statement about it, if she felt it was necessary; the Duggars do have a cadre of PR people to handle this kind of thing. I realize the Duggar Machine had full charge of her then, which is another reason I doubt Famy would know anything. The family closed ranks and pretty much shut her out, especially after Dill's remarks.

Famy is ridiculous yes but this is coming off as kind of slut shaming ( to me at any rate) If you have had sex at least once ( even oral) you should get tested.  Promoting the stigma that getting tested= dirty slut only makes people afraid or ashamed to get tested and that only worsens the spread of STDS.

ETA: and yes i really hope Anna got tested, as HPV affects 75% of the sexually active population. There is a good chance Josh could have contracted it.

Agreed. With both of my pregnancies I was tested as standard procedure.

If this is the same crackerjack duggar machine that handled the joshly madison debacle, I doubt they can find their asses with two hands and a flashlight.  I think jb found someone in the nickel ads and called it good. I really doubt boob would give up that kind of control anyway.

I know it's a free country, but if they had real pr people, there is no way some of instagram posting of the assorted duggar spawn and their husbands would have ever saw the light of day.  Well a free country unless you're a duggar.

I can't imagine living in a house with another adult that could not bring himself to have a mutually respectful conversation with a woman about their relationship or about any other issue they're facing.

My fear is one of the spouses turns abusive. Or like Joshie cheats and bring home an std

I read that Josh is going to be on the next episode. I wonder if that's really true or just speculation. Maybe it'll show him and Anna going to marriage counseling? I also saw somewhere that Jim Bob bought the two of them a house recently and I'm wondering if that's true as well. There was a reference that Jim Bob bought the house to make sure that Anna would stay with Josh, though I don't know why anyone thinks Anna was ever considering leaving. It'll never happen no matter what Josh does.

I'm probably going to be criticized for this, but back in the day, I think Josh was actually one of the best public speakers of all the kids. He seemed to be able to articulate fairly well and could focus on answering  questions from the producers. The rest of them seem to struggle a bit when interviewed, even Jill, who seemed to become more of the spokesperson as time went on. I don't miss Michelle and her talking heads at all , with that baby voice. Luckily it seems none of the daughters have inherited that trait.

I think if Joshley's activities were limited to adultery, they could've brought him back on the show. Cheating on Anna makes him a dirtbag, but consensual sex between legal adults is a lot more palatable to the viewing audience than the molestation of a five year-old. Josh would have to explain his actions and reciting Gothard platitudes isn't going to fly. It's in the Duggars' best interests to keep him chained to the guest house.

If this is true, KJB bought the house so that it could not be seized via lawsuit. Joshley Madison will never own another house outright because there is always the specter that victim #5 (or other victims we don't know about) will come forward with a civil suit.

Anna needs to get her ass to an attorney and have them draw up paperwork protecting herself and her kids in the event she's left alone. KJB will most likely refuse to sign it, but if she decides to make that little tidbit public, she might succeed in finally bringing down the house of cards, IMHO. It's one thing to cover up family molestation when the statute of limitations has run out. It's another to actively plot to leave your SAHM daughter-in-law and her four defenseless kids under 8 in the street because there was no plan to protect them.

Michelle spoke fairly normally in the earliest specials. The baby voice became more pronounced and more irritating as time went on. It seemed to get worse with each succeeding pregnancy/delivery and with her increasing fame. The girls have plenty of time left to cultivate it.

If/when Anna gets pregnant again, how will the show handle it? Will they make an announcement that she is expecting baby # 5 or will they keep it a secret until the baby is nearly due? How can they show Anna and the baby on tv without showing Josh? Unless he secretly got himself sterilized, this issue is going to come up fairly soon.

My guess is that TLC will demand that Josh and Anna not be invited (or at the very least they'll be allowed to sit in a back pew out of camera range and then instructed to leave before the parking lot ice cream social commences).  Jim Bob will protest, but then quickly cave because he wants to stay on TLC's good side (and because he's a big wuss). They'll allow him to be filmed walking Jinger down the aisle, but that'll be it. Any attempts on his part to show off or push his way in  front of the cameras will be edited out of the final program. The same will be true of Michelle; we'll probably just get a quick shot of her sitting in the front of the church.

My personal theory is #3 - God has decided no child deserves to be dropped into this mess right now.

I think Josh has shown that vows before man or God don't mean much if anything to him.  However, all of their children are in the range of nearly or two years apart.  It's only now about time for Anna to get pregnant soon if things were "normal" for them.

I was just reading an article about a Canadian woman who finish her 12 year prison sentence for murder about 10 years ago, and is now living in the same town with her 3 kids. Parents are saying they don't want their kids hanging, out of school, with her kids. Murder is different, but memories are lasting and the internet is forever.
